To be able to finally be on an ARC team and have the chance to read this amazing Twisted tale by not only one of my favorite authors but a super sweet amazing human being, and see her continue to grow is nothing but amazing!
If you’re a Disney girlie like myself and love any Disney related stories, especially those that give that extra spicy 🌶️🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵🥵🥵 twist to the stories her books are the way to go!
Why choose one when you can have both?!? You’d be missing out if you passed by this story!

Hickory Belle and her Beastly Twins!! I would expect nothing less from this author. I’ve been waiting for this book. It’s the 3rd in the series and hands down another page turner. A dark spicy retelling of Beauty and the Beast… say less!! This is a must read!! Will HB help break the curse for the twins? If you love and of the following, read this!!

This book is a wolf Shifter paranormal beauty and the beast re-imagining. Definitely not a retelling but there are a lot of characters in the book with very similar or the same names as characters in Beauty and the Beast.
Ewen and Elliot are running out of time. They need Hickory Belle to help them break their family curse. They are in a race against time to figure out how to break the curse so they can keep H.B. forever. They are in for a fight but it's a fight they are determined to win, no matter what! Will they be able to save Hickory Belle from the Evil Enchantress and break the curse? Or will they be forced into an eternity of madness and lose their Luna forever?
First off I want to say that I don't normally read these types of books. I read a few short stories in the past that were not my favorite. I thought the whole shifter thing, in general, in general was a little" out there".
I decided to read this book because of the Beauty and the Beast aspect. I loved the movie as a child and am obsessed with having Belles' library. I thought that the creation of the characters for this book was pretty good. The author did well writing the characters' personalities to bring this re-imagining into present times. But I will say it was still hard at times to not picture this story in my head back in the 15 and 16 hundreds. It was the swords and public beheadings among other things, for me.
Overall I liked the story as a whole. The spice was decent for a why choose. The obsessed alphas always seem to be a staple in a Why choose romance. I like that because it makes for very spicy scenes with lots of dirty talk. I feel like with some though, they can get a little too much on the smutty end of things but this was perfect.

As an ardent fan of Belle, I found myself completely enamored by this fresh take on her world. The familiar characters we know and love are brilliantly reimagined, each with intriguing twists and unexpected roles that keep readers on their toes.
The narrative explores a shifter theme that adds a layer of mystery and darkness to the story. While it carries a darker tone, it never feels overwhelmingly grim, making it an engaging read for fans of both traditional and modern fairy tales.
One of the book's standout qualities is how it plays with character interactions and placements, offering a new perspective on their dynamics. This novel approach adds depth to the story and makes it a delightful experience for those who enjoy seeing familiar characters in a new light.

This is book 3 of the Pixie Hollow universe. The Pixie Hollow novels can be read as standalones, but you have the chance to meet the characters that make appearances and know their stories (unless they are still to be told). SO why would you not start at the beginning.
I will say I was looking forward to this one the most (so far).
The Beast Twins (Elliot & Ewen) have had smaller parts in the prior books and I have always liked their snarky idgaf attitudes.
Hickory Belle (aka HB), I'm not sure what it is but I have always felt a pull towards her character and enjoyed when she made an appearance. But from the other reviews it seems Ellis may have written a character that we all connect and see parts of ourselves in.
Ellis ALLLLWAYS delivers. I never refuse a chance to ARC read for her (even if sometimes I miss the deadline... just know I will get one out there).
The pacing of EW's writing has always been a high point for me. I can sit down and start reading and before I know it I am 1/2 way through. They read fast, BUT do not feel rushed.
I can't wait to read what comes next from Ellis! Happy Reading!

"Villainz" is a reimagined Beauty and the Beast story that’s dark and delicious. You not only get one beast but TWO! These aren’t your typical fairytale beasts either. Oh no, these twins are all about claiming what they want, and what they want is Hickory Bell. They are possessive, dangerous, and utterly obsessed with their mate. The spice factor is OFF THE CHARTS. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 We’re talking five peppers spicy. There are scenes in this book that will have you crossing your legs and fanning yourself. Ellis definitely knows how to write a smut book.
Ellis has three books in the Pixie Hallow universe, and they can all be read as standalone. But what I love is how she weaves in characters and references from the other books. It makes the world feel interconnected. You can jump in anywhere, but you'll definitely want to read them all.

This book did not disappoint me at all🔥 The book follows Elliot and Ewen Lawrence, whose family has been cursed by the Enchantress. They must find true love or their hearts will forever be hardened. Along comes Hickory Belle! They immediately fall for her. But will she be the one to help them break the curse?
The Beast twins are so hot! They have dirty mouths and only have eyes for Hickory Belle. I love when men are possessive and obsessed with their woman. And I mean, who doesn’t love two men? Hickory Belle is, of course, my twin flame! Her personality and love for books match me to a T! How could I not love her?!?! And of course, we cannot forget Gran!!🫶🏻 This book will have you from the start and you will feel like you are apart of it, helping look for a way to break the curse. I am literally obsessed with this series. Ellis blends the fairy tale elements with the spicy why choose moments to create a book that is hard to put down and had me hooked from the first page.
Hickory Belle is so sassy and confident even though she hasn't had the best start in life and is often caught up in a fictional world she finds in a book (same girl).
Ewen and Elliot, aka the beast twins, literally come out of nowhere and sweep her off her feet, and we soon learn that those boys definitely have a softer side even if it is onky for their HB.
The spice in this book is perfect. The chemistry between these characters is off the charts and the way those boys worship HP.... Sign me up.
This book takes us on another twisted journey to Pixie Hollow, where not all is as it seems, and these characters must navigate the world of supernaturals and all the trials and tribulations this world brings to get to their HEA but boy does it make for an enjoyable ride.

This story was AMAZING!! It was the kind of retelling that I love with added paranormal and dark fantasy elements added in that kept me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages as fast as I could to see how it all would turn out in the end. I was hooked from page one and could not put it down until I was done. It was one hell of an emotional and intense rollercoaster ride the whole way through.
The imagery and world building was magical, creative and imaginative, transforming this fantasy world right before my eyes.
I absolutely loved this story and how the author twisted the tale of Beauty and the Beast into something dark, more sinister and very entertaining. The writing was amazing, the characters were phenomenal and the storyline was so much more than I could have hoped for.

An incredibly unique, insanely possessive, touch her and die, Beauty and the Beast retelling! It takes the magic of the original and gives it a paranormal twist, adds a little darkness, and doubles up on the sexy with The Beast twins, while giving you a Belle who is as kind and smart as the original with a little badass, fiery, and fierce thrown in making this retelling fun, smoking hot, and all kinds of delightful to read.

A why choose Beauty and The Beast retelling say less. Why choose is my favorite trope next to mafia and Beauty and The Beast is my absolute favorite and this book was the best of both those worlds. Our FMC is sassy and the swoon worthy MMCs are very possessive and I love that in a man. This book was a little slow to start so it was hard for me to initially get into but once I did I could not put it down. The beast twins have a long standing family curse after their ancestor scorned a gypsy. Will Hickory Belle be the one to finally tame the beasts, and break their curse or will they succumb to the madness? If you like a spicy why choose then this is for you!

I have always loved Beauty & The Beast growing up, so I couldn’t pass this story up. But WOW, this is a good retelling of Beauty & The Beast with a spicy spin & twist. Not only 1 beast but twin beasts! And they both only have eyes for HB! A true why choose! I loved the characters & Hickory Belle. I loved both beast twins, honestly I couldn’t just pick one! & they have tattoos & motorcycles! Oh my! You have me sold! I love Hickory Belle & her love for books. She is me & I am her! & just the perfect amount of spice! I loved how the whole story came together & it all just flowed! You’ll love this book from start to finish. This should be a movie! 🥀

"Villainz" plunges you into a shadowy world where "Beauty and the Beast" takes on a deliciously dark edge. Ewen and Elliot's desperation to break their curse and keep Hickory Belle is palpable, creating a tense, high-stakes atmosphere. The reimagined characters are compelling, even if the original tale lingered in my thoughts. The "why choose" dynamic is executed well, with the alphas' obsessive devotion fueling some seriously spicy scenes. The story's pacing is excellent, and despite my initial reservations about retellings, "Villainz" won me over with its unique blend of dark fantasy and intense romance. If you crave a thrilling, sensual reimagining, this book is for you

I had a chance to alpha read this book and now getting a chance to a c r read it is amazing. Being able to see the progress of Ellis writing this amazing book has been a dream. I love this book! Ewen is my favorite twin, but don’t tell Elliot. This book has spice, shifter, fated mates, villains, mystery, magic and so much more. I love this book! It was so good! The beast twins and HB are amazing. I love that Ellis brought in characters from the previous books and I love gram. I highly recommend you read this book.

We all know the Beauty and the Beast story, and we've all read the retellings. While this is another one I did like the twists that the author included to make it her own. The differences made the story one of a kind and kept you interested in the next chapter. Hard to put down and I liked the attitude/sass that HB (the main FMC) had with the two MMCs. The twins were definitely interesting and while I wouldn't call them dark, they were definitely morally grey! Another great story from the author!

I read this book in a matter of hours. Yes, it’s a novella but it is quick paced and full of spice, thrills and a whole lot of female knowing what she wants and when to get it. HB is quick witted, sweet, nerdy and a little shy. Into her life walks in the Beast Twins. Twin men who have set their eyes, and unwillingly their hearts, on the line to have their one and only, Hickory Belle. And she will be theirs, whether she wants it or not… until she does.

What a great series!!! I love that each book is a different fairytale spin off and especially how they connect but have different tropes. This one was definitely my favorite out of the three though. Beauty and the Beast will always own my heart. The pacing was good, the beast twins were very dark, but especially I loved that it was about a reader. I love her love for books and her snarky attitude!

Absolutely my favorite of Ellis' fractured retellings. Hickory Belle was the perfect updated representation of Belle and the Beast Twins were the amazing alpha-holes who only had room in their hearts for her.

After reading Lost Boyz Ink and A Fall So Wicked I couldn't wait to jump back into pixie Hallow and find out the mystery of HB and her beasts. Beauty and the beast was my favorite Disney story, and I love this retelling. It was very spicy and the suspense of breaking the curse, kept me turning pages.

I loved this! It's Hickory Bell & her guys' story, & it was awesome! The guys are wolf shifters & I loved the dynamic between them all! She's on a dating app & when they saw her, they knew she was their mate. They're called the Beat Twins & she was resistant at first. I loved this take on the Beauty & the Beast re-telling & I loved the spice & storyline! Highly recommend this book & author!

I want a set of my own beast twins. This story is a beauty and the beast retelling and the first book I’ve read by this author. I will be definitely going back through and reading this series. The characters dynamic was on point, one minute it’s hot and bothersome then the funny banter. Highly recommend this as a fairytale retelling wolf shifter to all my friends
