The old saying 'there is nothing more dangerous than a mother bear protecting her cub' and that goes for any mother or father protecting their child. Of course, the reverse can also be true. A child will go to extreme measures to protect their parents. Don't mess with someone's family. The consequences are dangerous.

Quotes: "We have no choice but to fight to protect freedom and peace, and to uphold a dignified way of life."
I have read all of Elyse Douglas' novels and I've loved every one of them. This one makes me wonder if she has an inside track with the government insiders! I would LOVE to get a ride in a UAP myself and I think most people feel that there probably are many races out there from many planets which are much older and more advanced than we are (which wouldn't be difficult). My advice to any President would be to tell the truth if it happens. I think the reason I liked this book so much is because it felt "real". Knowing that we are talking about aliens and spaceships, I realize that doesn't make much sense, but it FELT real. Good job.
The story Was so different From any other sci-fi story I have read. More realistic of what could happen And maybe what has happened. Who knows ? Anyway I really enjoyed it And And would recommend it to anyone That likes a good story.
This book is incredible—high tension, great characters, and a fantastic storyline!

Since I love the idea of ET’s and UFO/UAP’s without blood and guts warfare thrown into the story, I really wanted to love this story. I didn’t, though. At best, I’d call it okay because I had to force myself to finish it.
The story line premise was decent. Kudos to that. An ET is being held hostage for his knowledge by a black op program in the government. His ET daughter goes rogue to try to save him by kidnapping the President’s daughter and holding her for hostage exchange.
The prose was a huge yawn, however. It tried too hard at times to be poetic in its descriptions, yet never quite painted a visual picture that struck an emotional chord. And although it tried to create tension with shorter chapters, the characters all played their one note with no emotional change or character arc to speak of. It all felt a little flat.
This book could be entertaining for ET enthusiasts, but I don’t see it holding its own for those outside that niche interest.
Who said "No such thing as aliens"? Well this author just came up with the possibility that they exist. I've always felt that they have been here. Anyway, the book was wonderfully intriguing and told in a way where if it were true, I'm sure I and others would have a thousand questions to ask the aliens about. Questions like if they believe in God or something like that. Do they actually believe in death in the same way we do or do they know more about it? I could go on and on because this book has piqued my curiosity about them. I can highly recommend the book and hope to read more from these two authors. Thanks!
Huh...I enjoyed "Time Lost" but was surprised that the writing wasn't as good as the previous book. The characters weren't believable and their dialogue was very strained. Aliens are easy to accept in a syfy book, but I can't suspend my disbelief to accept a journalist for a major news outlet behaving or speaking the way portrayed in the book. Just strange and this will be the last book I read by this author.
Take a little bit from “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and “Seven Days in May”, throw in any abduction plot, mix well and end it with a kiss. I am a fan of this writing team who seem to have unending ideas for time travel romances which sometimes include humor. Sorry but this one doesn’t rate a smile.
I like this author. It's a husband/wife team so it brings in the masculine and the feminine point of view (the best of both worlds.) The story is interesting and I like the characters. I enjoyed reading it and was sad when it ended as I wanted more.
Gee! What would our president do with an extraterrestrial being who landed its spacecraft somewhere in the USA? What if aliens have been working with our military for decades?
A good story and plot. It got a little too philosophical in spots, but had a happy ending. Curt seemed to change his character as the story developed. He was stoic and blunt in the beginning and more like a black ops operative toward the end.
I read a lot of Elyse Douglas, all of there time travel books are great reads. Well they also do good si-fi. this book has some fun Easter eggs and left some thing open for a sequel.
Another very good novel by Elyse Douglas. This is science fiction at its best. There are aliens, good people, bad people and exciting drama. Very good and well written.
Another wild ride into alien land. I can hardly believe such a wild story but they wrote it well and finished off with a live story. What more could you want..
