Tara feels stuck in a life that seems to be passing her by. Watching her friends settle down, she can’t help but wonder if she’s destined to stay on the sidelines, trapped in the same boring patterns. But everything changes at her best friend’s wedding, where a chance encounter with a handsome stranger might just shake up her world in ways she never expected.

After spending most of his twenties caring for his ailing mother in London, Aiden has reached a crossroads. With no career and few close connections, he decides to accept his father’s offer to start fresh in Brisbane, Australia by coming to work at the family business. When he meets a fiery redhead in the hotel bar when he arrives, he’s relieved to find a spark of connection in an unfamiliar place. But his hopes for something more are dashed when he wakes up to an empty bed.

Things get even more complicated when Aiden discovers that the woman who ghosted him is not just his new assistant but someone with deep ties to the job he’s just been handed—her dream job. Can a shared love of dance bridge the tension between them, or will their rocky start keep them at odds both in and out of the office?

Dance With Me, the third book in the Circle of Friends series, is a heartwarming and emotional exploration of love, grief, and learning to let people in. Perfect for fans of slow-burn romance, it’s a reminder that sometimes the path to happiness begins with a step out of your comfort zone—and maybe a spin on the dance floor.

Such a great read. I really enjoyed Tara's story and seeing her grow in confidence, the chemistry that can't be denied. Can't wait to see her character development throughout the final book of this series

Slow burn romance with a little spice, a few daddy issues, and a positive sense of body images. It was great to read a man who loves every curve and takes the opportunity to boost her confidence wherever possible.

First off, I would like to thank @allisonaandrews for this lovely opportunity to read book three. Allison, you have written Tara’s story absolutely amazingly, I seriously couldn't put this book down at all. It had me hooked straight away, and I absolutely loved Tara and Aiden in this book.

This book had me feeling everything with each chapter I read. I love seeing Tara start to find her confidence finally and start sticking up for herself.

I absolutely loved the connection between Tara and Aiden and how both of them navigated through their issues. I loved the scenes of both of them dancing and feeling that heat they both have for each other. Aiden is such a swoon-worthy boyfriend, and even tho he dealing with his own grief and issues, he was always trying to be there for Tara.

Trigger warnings include a loved one with a terminal illness dealing with grief, parental estrangement, loss of a parent, and mention of previous passing of a loved one.

This is book three in the Circle of Friends Series, and they include

Yes, ALLISON!! This book was finger licking good 🤤. After reading Chasing Horizons previously as an ARC, I went through and ATE the rest of her books and let me tell you....I think this is my favourite!

Tara and Aiden were incredible characters. They had me hooked from the get-go. Aiden is a man who appreciates and worships all the curves Tara has, and this had me swooning! Through him, you see how she builds on her own body issues, which, as a plus-size girl myself is always gorgeous to read.

When an author can bring out the emotions in you physically, then you know how amazing the writing is. This book, whilst fun and sweet, also packs a punch in terms of emotions, as both characters are going through some intense and heavy situations. Thank you for being a master at being sensitive and considerate in your writing when approaching these issues.

The way Allison writes about their interactions, especially when they dance, you can feel the heat and spark between them. The spice doesn't overwhelm the plot and is placed at all the right moments.

Please be mindful of the trigger warnings, as this book deals with terminal illness, grief, and loss of a parent and loved one (past).

Overall, I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot wait to see where Allison goes next. Please pick up this book because her books deserve all the love.

Thank you, @allisonaandrews, for trusting me once again with your amazing book. I've loved and devoured it 😍

This was an incredibly sweet read! But also super freaking sad, I cried a lot lol. Aiden is such a sweetheart, literally all green flags! I connected a lot with Tara in many ways and I loved seeing her confidence grow in this book!

It was so fun returning to the characters I really love. Getting to see how they're doing in life is so awesome! I'm very nervous for the next one if it's about who I think it's about because I think it's going to be EMOTIONAL. And this one already was 😭😭.

I have loved every single book in this series, and Tara's story was by far the one that hit me in the feels the most.

Tara has had it rough. I wasn't her biggest fan in Chasing Horizons but after reading Dance with Me and seeing the change in her after meeting Aiden and dealing with alot of emotional turmoil she had held onto for so long, I just loved her!! She grew so much in this book, and seeing her strength, confidence, and maturity as she developed and realised she was so loved and lovable, and then that ending...

Im so looking forward to wrapping up the series with the enigma that is Annelisa and hoping for a hea with Will 🤞🤞🤞

I was blessed to be given an advanced copy of this book as an ARC reader in return for an honest review. Tara and Aidens' stories hit me right in the heart. Tara and Aiden find each other at the right time in their lives when many sad, confusing, and joyful things are occurring. Allison has an incredible knack for writing emotional scenes that make you feel very deeply for the characters but not dwell too long in the emotion - for which i am greatful. The romance, spicy, and emotional scenes were masterfully written. They were the perfect pace, and never once did I feel like the story wasn't moving forward. Momentum is a big plus for me when reading, and Allison nails it every time. I don't often feel sad when finishing a book or miss spending time with the characters, but the Circle of Friends series is soooo different. I'm convinced I am also part of their friend group and am eagerly waiting for an invite to a BBQ. Well done, Allison!

**ARC review**

Dance with Me was such an enjoyable read! From the very first page, I found myself completely immersed in Tara and Aiden’s world, flipping through the pages without even realizing how fast the story was unfolding. The dual POV really worked in this book, giving us insight into both characters' minds and emotions. Tara and Aiden's journey was both heartwarming and passionate, and I loved seeing their growth throughout the story.

One of the unique aspects of this book is the chapter titles. They are honestly some of the best I’ve seen in any book—they foreshadow what will happen in each chapter perfectly. It’s a clever touch that I haven’t come across in many other books, and I loved it. The plot was solid with a nice balance of romance, emotional depth, and spicy scenes. The storyline kept me hooked, and I found myself thinking about it long after I finished.

This book tackles some really important themes, like forgiveness and improving self-esteem, which I think many readers can relate to. Tara’s journey, in particular, was a bit hard to swallow at times due to her struggles with low self-esteem, but in a way, it made me reflect on my own personal growth and how I wouldn’t want to fall into the same mindset. While I wasn’t a fan of some of Tara’s flaws, it was an essential part of her character development, and by the end, I could see how it fit into her overall journey of self-empowerment.

Some of the life lessons in the book hit home for me, especially the ones about navigating relationships and the importance of self-worth. I did find myself disagreeing with a few character decisions along the way, but I also understood where they were coming from. Everyone has their own path, and sometimes we just need to see things from their perspective.

Here are a few standout quotes that stuck with me:

“I haven't really been to many weddings, but I was single at all of them. It's hard watching everyone else live their lives when yours feels like it's standing still.” (This hit me right in the feels.)

“Insurance seems unnecessarily complicated.” (Honestly, why is it so confusing for no reason?!)

“Why is that always the first question people ask? Like having a significant other is the most important thing once you reach a certain age?” (This one was so relatable!)

“Daniel didn’t look like a serial killer in his profile photo, had yet to send me a photo of his package or ask for photos of anything weird, so I decided to give him a chance. Pretty sad that the bar was so low, but that’s modern dating for you.” (Dating in the modern world is... something else, haha.)

“Insurance is so boring, and I just can’t see myself doing this for the rest of my life.” (Same, Tara, same.)

“You're it for me.” (Swoon-worthy moment!)

“Watching someone you love slip away can serve as a reminder of how precious life truly is.” (This line was so poignant and made me reflect on life in a deeper way.)

Overall, Dance with Me is a spicy, heartwarming, and relatable read. It offers some great life lessons wrapped in a romantic storyline, and while I didn’t agree with every character decision, I could understand them. The balance of romance and personal growth made this book a real winner for me. Highly recommend!

Dance with Me is yet another stunning addition to the Circle of Friends series by Allison A. Andrews. By this third book, you truly feel like part of the family, and the emotions are so real, they hit you right in the heart. Once again, Allison has done it – I couldn't put this book down!

Tara, feeling stuck in her life while watching her friends move forward, crosses paths with Aiden, a man who’s also at a crossroads. Their fiery first encounter leads to complications, especially when Aiden discovers that the woman he can't stop thinking about is now his assistant. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but so are the walls they’ve built around themselves.

The way the story unfolds is nothing short of captivating. The romance is slow-burn, but oh-so-rewarding. I loved watching Tara and Aiden navigate their personal struggles, their careers, and the undeniable connection that grows between them. Dance becomes more than just a metaphor – it's a way for them to connect, let go, and step out of their comfort zones.

All the characters feel like old friends by now, and I loved how each of their journeys intertwined in this story. The themes of love, grief, and learning to open up are handled beautifully, and I found myself rooting for Tara and Aiden every step of the way.

Thank you, Allison, for once again bringing us a story full of heart, warmth, and unforgettable characters. I loved Dance with Me, and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Tara feels stuck in her life until a chance encounter with Aiden, a man starting fresh in Brisbane after caring for his mother, sparks an unexpected connection that becomes even more complicated when she discovers he's her new boss and the man she ghosted after a one-night stand, leading them to navigate a tense, slow-burn romance while finding common ground through their shared love of dance.

While not quite as strong as the first two, this book was incredibly sweet and satisfying.

I felt a deep connection to Tara, especially as a curvy woman who often seeks validation from others to feel loved, wanted, and beautiful.

However, I most related to Aiden—moving to a new place is always intimidating, and the loneliness and struggle of making adult friendships was captured so well.

I loved watching the healthy relationship develop and how everything wrapped up nicely.

As for the next book, I have a feeling it will focus on Will and Annelisa. Based on what I've seen, I think Annelisa might be terminally ill and distancing herself from Will and her friends out of fear of being a burden. To me, that seems like the path to redemption, but if not, I hope we never hear her name again and that Will gets his happily ever after.

Allison has done it again with this instalment in the circle of friends series!

Tara is our loveable and relatable grump in the other books in this series and she’s just been waiting for her moment to come alive and alive she did come!

I loved everything about Tara and Aiden. I loved their insta love at the bar, I loved the back and forth banter and Aidens naughty inner monologue. Mostly I just loved how much he loved Tara in all the ways she needed to be loved.

I loved Tara glow up. I loved that she did this for herself and no one else. I loved that she gave herself a chance, gave Aiden a chance and also Toulouse. Can we please just take a moment to thank all authors who insert a loveable pet side character!

I really cannot wait for the final book in this series!!

“I’m now fantasising ways to fuck the look off her face.”

“Tell me to leave,” he whispers back. I shake my head, unable to speak. “Tell me it’s all in my head.” Another head shake. His lips hover over mine. “Tell me not to kiss you.” “Kiss me,” I whisper.

“You are perfect. You are enough. And I’m in love with you.”

“We can’t always be happy, but we ride out the storms together.”

“I’m so glad I get to spend the rest of my life dancing with you.” “And what a dance it will be.”

Check CWs before reading

I absolutely adored Tara's book! After the hints of her that were dropped in Chasing Horizons, I was so excited to learn more about her - what I didn't expect was to read such an emotional, powerful story about acceptance, grief and falling in love.

Aiden has to go down as one of the sweetest book boyfriends out there. He is a walking green flag, and I was here for it. His patience and understanding when it came to Tara was beautiful to see, and I absolutely loved as he broke down her walls slowly.

What I also really enjoyed about Tara and Aiden's relationship is that it didn't get off on the right foot, and they had to work on their issues (both separately and together) to make things work. I felt this was an honest and true depiction of a great relationship, which made me enjoy the story even more.

You feel the whole spectrum of emotions reading this one, and whilst some parts hurt to read (as mentioned, check TWs before diving in), they were written so beautifully, and the happiness from the HEA that Tara and Aiden get is well worth those other emotions.

Another great read in the Circle of Friends series, and I'm looking forward to book four's release!

Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

I love Allison Andrews' books and have really enjoyed reading the Circle of Friends series so far. Tara was a little standoff-ish in Chasing Horizons, but we really get to see her story shine in this book, and boy has she been through a lot. Tara and Aiden have found each other at a time where they need someone the most, and it was such an emotional journey for them both. There was lots of humour and banter and even though I saw it coming, my jaw dropped when Tara discovers Aiden is her new boss and she's been passed over for the promotion - talk about work drama! While I really enjoyed this book and the themes explored (in a lighthearted way that avoids dwelling in the hurt for too long), I feel like this story lacked a little of the excitement that the others had. It is still wonderfully written and a beautiful story, and a really enjoyable romance read.

Thank you so much to Allison for the eARC of this book!

I absolutely loved the previous two books in this series and this book was no different. Tara was kind of an enigma in that she really kept to herself, so I really loved that we got to know more about her in Dance with Me.

I really related to Tara a lot. Feeling that she was on the outside of the group and watching all of her friends finding love while it just never seemed to happen for her. Also carrying and dealing with the emotional fallout of her sister’s abrupt breakup and departure. I liked seeing her stand up for herself and being able to open up to Aiden.

What I love about this series is that everything feels authentic. From Tara and Aiden having their own baggage that they have to come to terms with as well as navigating a tough situation together. From the very first time they met Aiden was so sweet and caring and I liked how he needed Tara’s support as much as she needed his.

We also got a little more info regarding the breakup between Annelisa & Chris, but it just added to the mystery of what happened, which I love. I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series which will hopefully answer what went down in the first book.

This book was amazing, the characters themselves were so enjoyable to read, the side characters all brought their own story and drama without being to much and oh lordy the tension and pining in this book was enough to steam up a whole room. The build up between Tara and Aiden was so steamy I was blushing anytime I read this book. These two went from friends to enemies to lovers with secret dating, workplace drama, a perfectly jealous MMC and a cheeky forced proximity it couldn't get anymore delicious. Not only was the romance epic but the storyline and the side characters gave so much that I found myself in tears throughout some of the story. Thankfully a happy ending but one that made your heart feel whole.

Another fantastic read from Allison A Andrews. Tara wasn't one of the characters written about in previous books with a lot of intrigue surrounding her so I wasn't as desperate to read her story. What I found when I read it though, was a story full of heart and positivity despite being surrounded by tough scenarios.
I adored the way that Tara came into herself and her confidence through the help of another good woman and the support of a good man.
As always I love the community and 'circle of friends' that surround these characters and also that they are set in Australia and written by someone who also lives in Australia and also knows exactly what it is like.
Thank you for the introduction to this series and ARC from the author.

It took me longer than it should have to write this review because I had to accept that fact the I had totally underestimated Allison A Andrews. I absolutely loved the first 2 books in her Circle of Friends series and I thought that she had just so happened to write two FMC that I had a lot in common with and could connect too.
Reading Dance With Me, I now realised that Andrews is just about amazingly talented writer, and her characters are so real and 3 dimensional that you can't help but relate to and love the MCs.
This is a beautiful story that deals with hard issues like grief, complicated family relationships and body image issues, but does it in such a realistic and human way.

What a lovely story this was to read.
Tara and Aidens story felt real to me, and just beautiful.
Tara was so relatable, in so many ways.
I loved her self effacing outlook and hard working essence. I love the wonderful friends she is surrounded by and I will definitely be checking to see if they have their own books as I like the writing style.
Aiden is a total sweetie, the way that he meets Tara and then re-meets her is so good. The way he is juggling moving, a job he's not qualified for, a distant father and feelings for Tara are so good.
I would recommend this book and will definitely be looking to read more by Allison Andrews, thank you for the chance to read this for you.

This book ... the way I cried for so, so many reasons.

The characters have been THROUGH it. They are going through it. And when they collide is seems things are meant to be ... but circumstances are what they are, and they have to figure themselves out...

Add in family, uh, the family complications in here are SO REAL.

If you have ever loved someone at the end of their life, if you have memories of a hospital room and that deep knowing that any time could be the last time - then be prepared to have those moments brought back in the beautiful way this is woven into this gorgeous romance story!

Cannot wait for the next book in this series, Circle of Friends

Dance With Me by Allison A Andrews is book three in the Circle of Friends series, and boy did I regret not getting a copy at Readers Unleashed in March when it first released 😅😂 I broke my self-imposed book-buying ban because I just had to know what happened next!
(Mind the tags for this one, as it has some pretty heavy themes of parental loss and grief)
This was equal parts sweet and devastating in turn. I liked how it ended such that you both needed to know what happens next and can't wait for the fourth book, whilst still being a great place to end the series if you're unable to read the final book.

I loved the relationship Tara and Aiden develop throughout the book and how he was there every step of the way with all the emotional issues Tara was dealing with! Definitely a book you need to add to your tbr

Thank you Allison for sending me an ARC for this book!

This is not my usual genre! But I actually loved it, was happily reading it in the pool in Fiji!

The book has a multiple meet cute, like this guy is everywhere lol. The romance has a nice organic pace to it. I really enjoyed the POV’s from Tara and Aiden.
My only negative is the epilogue, I’m happy for a story to end where it should, there was almost too much happening with the “four months later” which made it feel rushed without giving any spoilers!

I loved this enough to now read the others in the series!

Allison has done it again with this series! I love this circle of friends. I adore Tara and I can absolutely relate to her having personally experienced body confidence issues. Aiden is a perfect book boyfriend and the way he cares for and clearly adores Tara is absolutely heart warming. I teared up during this book due to personal reasons of my own, and I do recommend checking the triggers before reading.

Obsessed. That’s all I have to say. This book touched on a lot of heavy topics, from body image issues, feeling like your not enough, to heavy grief of a strained parental relationship and then losing said parent but Allison has written it all so beautifully in this book.

Aiden and Tara’s story is amazing. The way they met, the way they support each other and are only there to help each other grow surrounded by love is spectacular.
Absolutely beautiful story.

Absolutely loved the setting for this story, as well as being a romance story, it’s clearly a love letter to Brisbane. Office romances are not my thing so much, but the sexual tension between the characters was great. The touch of sadness with an estranged parent was beautifully handled and my heartstrings were definitely pulled. The little reveals of other characters within the series has me needing some answers, bring on book four!!

Another great installment to the Circle of Friends series! I was skeptical regarding the dancing theme at first just because it's not a big interest of my own, but it wasn't the main focus of the story and it also fit very well into the relationship dynamic between the FMC and MMC. I cannot wait until the fourth book to be released!
