Nothing in life is guaranteed…

Nothing has come easy for me. Everyday I wake up with a new challenge on the horizon, and I don’t let it stop me from succeeding. Yet, there has been this missing piece of me for so long that happiness is a myth that floats in a far away abyss. It is never close enough to touch, yet I swear when I see three familiar faces…everything might just slowly get glued back together…

I have to ask myself if this is what I want, if being open with who I am is what will free me from what I have endured. Those three faces, they dig and dig, trying to get under my skin. They have no idea the secrets I might be hiding. So, I have one, not-so simple question.

“Are you Wrecklessly Devoted?”

A short, spicy and intense read. This MC book has why choose relationship between Crow, a strong badass FMC and 3 MMCs - Bear, Brick & Phisher. Crow always felt left out in the club but she didn't know yet that these three always wanted to pursue her and were so protective of her. And and they were so 🥵 (especially Phisher hehe). Definitely recommend if you're into MC + why choose romance.

If you like a dark romance and MC romance, then this series is for you. This is book 2 of Black Vipers MC. This book gives us the POV of all 4 main characters. This was a quicker read being under 200 pages.

Crow is such a strong and fierce bad@ss FMC. She knows what she wants and goes after it. She feels like she doesn’t belong so she is looking to switch clubs, but will all of that change?

Bear, Brick and Phisher are our delicious MMC’s. While Crow thinks the 3 of them dislike her, they all feel very differently and want her, but they aren’t good at showing their feelings. But when they connect and it gets spicyyyyy.

I will say, I wish some parts were a bit slower to read and I wanted more towards the end. The ending was a MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!!!

Suspenseful, hot and drool worthy men. Lexi does it again with another chapter of the black viper series. I truly enjoyed the new men and new fmc. I love the sons of anarchy vibes, and don’t forget the good girl club in me is dying for these these men and be their good girl. Definitely a must read.

**ARC was provided by the author for an honest review**

“Wreckless Devotion” is the second book in the Black Viper MC’s series. The Black Viper series focuses on why-choose relationships that started with “Leather Dreams” and now focuses on Crow’s story.

The narrative is told through the different POV’s of the three male protagonists: Crow, Phisher, Brick, and Bear. Crow has never had much luck in life, she is tough as nails, survived an attack and she has finally made it to the MC club. Unfortunately, even there, she feels like something is missing from her life. All she gets are cold shrugs and distance from the three guys.
I love when we get different points of view in books and in this one, it was especially nice to see Crow’s feelings for the guys and feeling like they were clearly not into her, while the three burned to have her in their own way. The novella reflects a lot on toxic masculinity and how the Black Vipers don’t see women as less than men and they focus a lot on how Crow is such an amazing asset to the team, but it also reflects on how the three guys take a lot of time to take charge of their feelings and how they want Crow.

We are used in romance to read what the perfect guy says, even though we know that it’s just a fantasy. Bear, Brick and Phisher see Crow, and they even have interactions with her where they want to make their intentions clear, but back off because in real life a lot of times men don’t know how to handle their emotions and while, as a reader, you may wish to just read fantasy and read the right words - here the focus is them trying the find those words within them. Bear, Phisher and Brick break the wall of the world telling them that they cannot have feelings and how to fight that in order to avoid losing Crow forever.

It was really nice to see Phisher was the one who took charge, even though he is regarded as the tech/computer guy, he was the first to give in to his feelings for Crow and make her assure her of what he wanted. I believe IT guys get a lot of bad rep in romance and it’s usually a turn-off for me when the IT guy is perceived as lame, so Phisher being the first one to give in and allowing himself to fully appreciate Crow was a nice touch.

The book is very action-packed and while this is a novella, it takes some moments to build up the tension between the three. There are some spicy scenes but the focus of the novel is the MC and the feelings the three have for each other and how their relationship is going to take off. In Gray’s romance so far the focus is not the end game, the HEA because we all know these characters will remain together, but rather how they went from not even knowing each other to lovers.

“Wreckless Devotion” may seem like just a fun and quick read but it packs a lot of important themes, especially in some dark romances where the women are very sheltered and not seen as fighters. It is important to also break the stigma in the literature that women can be as capable of fighting as men and that men should allow themselves to feel things and fight for the people they love.

This was a nice, fairly short MC, Why Choose romance. This is the second book in the series, but the first that I have read. Getting to know some of the side characters in this book, I now need to go back to read their story in book one. I have read a lot of different MC romances before, but I found this one to be so different from the others. This MC was organized and felt very progressive, allowing women to be full members, instead of just ol’ ladies or jacket pickers. Not only the FMC, but there were other members of the club that were patched in women. I enjoyed getting to see the side of the MC where they planned their missions and went out on those missions. In most of the MC romances I’ve read in the past, we see more of the partying and clubhouse antics. But here we got a MC with a mission, and they were organized when going out on their assignments. It was such a different side to the MC, a modern side, and I appreciated reading it. It felt like something different from the same old story.

The characters in this book were part of the reason that this book excelled. Crow was such a tough FMC. The fact that she got her name because she beat a creep with a crowbar was just awesome. I really felt for her at the beginning. She felt like she didn’t belong even though she was a patched in member of the club. She was lonely and felt like all of the guys in the club ignored her. She was closer with the women in the club but felt like she needed more, asking for a transfer to a new club. She didn’t trust men after her fiancé turned on her, so she couldn’t see what was in front of her face. Brick, Bear, and Phisher were spectacular MMCs. They knew what they wanted but each had a reason to hold back. But when they were forced to face losing what they wanted, things changed and they showed what amazing guys they were.

This was a very good MC romance. It was less than 200 pages so it was easy to read and I flew through it. If there was anything negative to say, it was only that I wanted more of these characters. There were a few spicy scenes, and they were extra spicy. Reading this book got me interested to read the rest of the series, both book one, and book three when it’s released. If you wanted a quick intro to the MC world and are looking for a club that feels modern and pulled together, this is an excellent book to pick up.

Our MMCs are Bear, Brick, and Phisher. Bear’s protectiveness was everything! I truly have a favorite part with all of them. Overall such a great read and totally revoking adding to your tbr.

Whoa! This book is a thrilling ride that combines dark romance, suspense, and sizzling chemistry. Lexi delivers another hot and suspenseful installment in the Black Vipers series that will keep you hooked from start to finish. One thing I LOVED about this story was that it is told from the perspectives of all FOUR main characters, offering you an intimate view of their thoughts and struggles. This multi-POV approach deepens the emotional complexity of the story and lets readers see the conflicting desires and emotions from both sides.

Black Vipers MC Book 2 is a quick read, but you are going to be wanting for more! And excuse me, the end—prepare yourself for a major cliffhanger! While it adds to the suspense, it will leave you eagerly waiting for the next book in the series.

Overall, this book is a must-read for fans of dark romance, MC romance, and intense chemistry. Crow is a fantastic FMC, and Bear, Brick, and Phisher are the perfect mix of rough, protective, and passionate.

I devoured this book. There were characters from the first that I was intrigued with and happened to be in this one. Bear, Brick, and Phisher. Then, we are introduced to Crow, the FMC. At this point, it's a toss-up on which FMC I love more. Leather or Crow. I love how we're introduced to these characters and the fight within themselves about how they're feeling. Plus, getting backstories on all these characters helps see why they are the way they are.

The scene that Crow and Bear did on stage, I loved seeing Bear get protective. And i wish we got to see what happened with Chandler. Because you know he was punished for that in some way. But I feel like it brought them closer even though Crow freaked out afterward.

My favorite scene would have to be the shooting ranging with Phisher. And then with Brick and Bear. When they all let go and give in to what they want.

Wreckless Devotion is incredible, and I 100% recommend reading these first 2 books in this series.

ARC Review

I really enjoyed *Wreckless Devotion*, especially the way it connects with characters from *Leather Dreams*. Crow is incredibly relatable for anyone who has ever felt like they don’t belong, and the addition of the guys adds a delightful spice to the narrative.

I appreciated the backstories for each character, though I found myself wanting more details about her ex and the events surrounding Dutch. I'm hopeful that these aspects will be explored further in the next installment.

While I felt the pacing was a bit rushed at times, I liked the shorter length compared to *Leather Dreams*, which kept the story engaging.

I’m excited to continue reading this series and following the journeys of these amazing characters. If you’re into “why choose” stories within the MC genre, I highly recommend this book!

This one was the second book in the Black Vipers MC series. It has us meeting Crow, Bear, Brick, and Phisher. while this story was a quick read it was still very good. One thing I wish was that we received more background information on all of them. It kind of felt like we didn’t get to know them that much. I will say that I did love their personalities and the chemistry that they had. It was extremely well written and developed. It definitely pulls you in quickly and I honestly couldn’t put it down until I found out what happened. It is absolutely a great read that will give your biker MC fix.

Make sure u read Leather Dreams 1st before u read this novella

Bear, Brick, and Phisher all have eyes for Crow. Crow likes them too, but she feels she doesn't belong and is deciding to switch clubs cause she thinks the 3 men dislike her. But Bear, Brick, and Phisher have a hard time showing their feelings. Crow is a badace FMC and hasn't had much luck in her life, but when they all finally give into their feelings, it's on from there. With missions, not goin to plan cause of a mole and tryin to figure out if she wants to transfer or not. This novella is very good and leaves on a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next in the series.

This book had the potential to be awesome. To be fair I jumped into this series with this book being my first book even though there’s one before this. It is an interconnected standalone so I don’t think I missed much, except for who is with who but it’s easy enough to figure out. The book starts off rough and then takes a turn and dives right in full force, skipping “steps” to leveling out, to abruptly ending. It was literal wipe lash and leaves you wanting to finish her story with her men but there is literally nothing to finish. It was a good book but it needed to be longer and a lot less rushed

Crow is such a freaking badass! This was a quick and exhilarating story. I love how effortlessly Crow handles herself in all these messed up scenarios. As for the men, Brick, Bear, and Phisher they were acting like complete asshats at the beginning. I’m glad after we got a lotto backstory on all of them it helped to see what some of their hang ups might be. There were a few times I wish we could have dove a little deeper. Like what is the secret that Crow found out that almost got her killed? This was a joy to read either way, and I look forward to checking out the rest of the series!

Ohh Phisher oh Phisher… this man is HOT! I mean all of them are but I connected with him instantly. This is a why choose MC. Crow she is a strong bada$$, who feels like the three men she finds hot, hate her. When they realize they may just lose her, well they show her just how much she means to them! 🤭 This is a quick read under 200 pages, it’s fast paced.

Just know going into this book that it is more plot than the spice. If you have ever read a Lexi Gray book you know she loves the spice. I enjoyed the plot on this book. You really get a feel for Crow and some of the things that she has been through and going through. My only complaint, which is not a true complaint, is i wanted more. I wanted to know more about the guys. We get bits and pieces because the book is more about Crow, but I wanted more. I really enjoyed the journey. I hope the author revisits this group. I am just dying to know more.

This is book two in Black Vipers MC Series and it does focus in on different characters than book one.

Crow has gone through a rough background and feels very "unfit" from the world she's in. But when the lines are finally crossed between her, Bear, Phisher, and Brick...it turns for the best.

As you know if you've read a book by Lexi, the spice is always spicing, and this is no different! I loved them together because I mean I'm always a why choose girlie.

I love this series and can't wait for the next one!

I absolutely love Lexi's books! The way Lexi portrays her characters is amazing! And the storyline is just wow!

I love the multi POV! It makes me feel like I know each character personally!

The way that Lexi interconnects her other books together is incredible! I need the next one now!

Crow, Phisher, Brick and Bear are just fantastic! The way they work together and care for eachother is perfect! And the heat! 🥵🥵

This is a MUST read. It is a motorcycle romance!

Great read ! I felt that it was a quick read too! I LOVED the fact of the MC club and that Lexi wrote WOMEN INTO IT! But like not just “ hang arounds “ they are actually members of the club !! And I also the love that the women members are like educated and valuable ! Not just some rag doll the guys use and abuse !!! ANYWAY - the only thing that was missing for me is the spice factor ! There was some but not enough for me - maybe I’m just sick LOL 😂 overall it was a great read I loved the plot & would definitely recommend this read ! As always please check triggers and warnings !!

I enjoyed this read, though not quite as much as I did the first one. This book felt a little rushed in comparison to the first in the series. I appreciate the exploration of the importance of taking care of one’s own mental health and doing what is right for you and not others. Crow was such a strong FMC and her struggles do not take away from her at all, and I am thankful to see that reflected within the writing. I look forward to the next installment.

MC with a why choose - yes please.

Crow is a baddie! She takes shit from nobody but ever since she patched in she feels ostracized by her crew. But maybe because Bear, Brick and Phisher have all been fighting their desire for her. Will they let her walk away a or will they chase her??

I really liked the all the men and Crow! I actually am excited to see what next for this MC.

Loved this book !! Lexi really knows how to deliver on the motorcycle club and I’m here for it. This is a why choose with Crow our fmc and Phisher, Bear and Brick as our mmc’s. This is a novella which is nice but who doesn’t always want more ? Multiple points of view which I personally enjoy because I feel I can better understand all the characters and relate to them. This story has action, spice and emotion, I would happily recommend this read for anyone into mc romance.

I liked this book just not as much as Leather Dreams.

But if you like dark romance and MC then this book is for you. This is book 2 in the Black Viper series and you do see some of the previous characters from the first book. This book shows Crow the FMC from her point of view then add in the different POV of Brick, Bear and Phisher. Crow is thinking of quitting the gang when the guys kind of hold her down and make all her fantasies come true.

I enjoyed this one and the fact we got people from the previous book included. I did wish it was a bit slower but that wasn’t a deal breaker or anything it was still amazing to read. I loved how the main female finally realized what she wanted and went for it and how the men finally came to their senses. It had a lot of different emotions being projected throughout the whole book and had me feeling a bunch of different things at all times

I absolutely loved crow, bear, brick and phisher, I fell head over heels for these drool worthy men.

It's action packed, and keeps you on your toes, with twists and turns. Great characters, wonderful storyline and plot. I didn't put it down until it was done.

You got great backstories for each of the characters and I loved meeting and getting to know them all. Crow was the perfect FMC and her struggles that she has make her all the better and such a badass. Such a joy to read and it's a quick book as well.

This was a quick and fun read and I really fell in love with all of the characters. This is book 2 in the Black Vipers MC. This is a 3.5 for me so I rounded up. This is just like book one but with different characters. I female and 3 Males. Lots of spice. Would have liked a bit more backgrounds on the FMC ex to establish more why she is the way she is. Also, more action as an MC romance book.
