The odd thing about my great Aunt passing, a woman I never met, is she left me her home. My Nana is convinced she did it just to spite her since they had a falling out years ago. No matter why, I’m not going to turn my nose up at my inheritance.

When I check out the house, to say it needs some work is an understatement. But it’s mine now. Tearing it down feels like a waste of good sunlight, solid bones, and a lot of charm. The need to fix it up leads me to Devil’s Construction.

Hammer roars into my life on his motorcycle armed with more than a tool belt. He claims me with a look and I’m more than okay with it. Who doesn’t want a man with a table saw, tattoos, and callouses on his hands? As construction begins, the history within the walls of the house comes out. A little haunting is nothing when you have a Devil’s Saint at your back.

I’m proud of the business I’ve built for my club. The Devil’s Saints are my home, my brothers, and they give me the room to do what I love. I get a sense of satisfaction from building something from nothing, but that doesn’t compare to restoration work. In New Orleans, the past deserves to be remembered and restoring buildings back to their former glory does that.

When Devil’s Construction is contacted for a restoration, the last thing I expected was to struggle with being professional. It’s Laiken’s fault. The moment I saw her, I understood exactly what happened to my brothers when they met their Old Ladies. I’ll be working on more than restoring her house, I’ll be convincing her that she’s my future.

The longer we work in the house, the creepier things become. But that’s New Orleans for you. This city is steeped in history and rubbing elbows with ghosts of the past isn’t uncommon. What is a little haunting compared to finding the love of your life?

Their love breaks the curse

This is an awesome crossover with Devil's Saints MC and Devil's Construction....please, please tell me we are going to have more with DSMC Construction?
I love Tripp and Laiken together, he knows instantly she is his soul mate, but he gives her time allowing a pure love to grow and it is that pureness that cracks the final tethers of the curse. Whilst their love is pure, Tripp's thoughts and fantasies are not, they are dirty, depraved and downright delicious, leaving Laiken in no doubt that Tripp has claimed her....but handed his heart over in exchange.

Interesting, kinda slow, short, Voodoo vibes, He fell first…literally!!
I’d probably actually read this MC series, they seemed to be a good group from the short interactions.

This book is a part of the 31 Days of Trick or Treat: Biker & Mobster series and focuses on Tripp (Hammer) and Laiken. When Laiken inherits a house in New Orleans and a substantial amount of money from a great aunt she had never met, her life quickly gets turned around in the best way. The house is in need of quite a bit of work to return it to it's former glory. She contacts the construction company owned by the Devil's Saints MC to work on the repairs. Tripp shows up to the house and immediately knows that she's the other half of his soul. He knows that she's his woman and is determined to make the house what she envisions it to be. Throughout the construction process, the history of the house and the people who used to live within the house comes out in very interesting ways. I love how Tripp was all in right out the gate and how they both fiercely loved and protected each other. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

He is a patched member of the MC and runs their successful construction business, but something is missing. He has watched his brother's find their partners one by one and is starting to wonder if a woman and family will ever be in the cards for him. Until he gets the call to consult on a job and she walks out, he knows instantly. She is his forever. He just has to convince her. She is an artist who inherited a beautiful historical home from an aunt she never met, it is serious disrepair and his construction company was recommended. When he lands on her front porch, she also feels the connection to this possessive and protective man. They both feel the chemistry and when they finally succumb, it is steamy. He is very protective of her and when strange things start happening at the house they have to figure out if a voodoo curse is the cause. This is a shorter story but it doesn't feel like anything was sacrificed. You get plenty of spice, some of the MC life, club brothers, drama and their relationship building.

When Laiken discovers that she has inherited an estate from her aunt, she quickly realizes it requires a lot of work. To tackle the renovations, she hires the best construction company in town.

Enter Tripp from Devil’s Saints MC and Devil’s Construction. The moment he steps through the front porch and sees Laiken, he knows she is everything to him. Without hesitation, Tripp decides to move in on the same day he starts working on the house. Their attraction is instant, and the chemistry between them is off the charts.

However, when it becomes clear that the estate is cursed, it is only their love that can truly break the spell. This short, instalove story is easy to read in one sitting and features a protective alpha male, plenty of steamy and spicy moments, and a thrilling mystery involving a cursed, haunted house – all perfect for the Halloween season that leads to a Happily Ever After (HEA).

Devil's Haunting is part of the 31 Days Of Trick Or Treat Bikers and Mobsters world and is Laiken and Hammer's story. Hammer is a member of the New Orleans Chapter of Devil's Saints MC. Laiken is an artist who was brought to New Orleans for an inheritance from an Aunt. It's a great insta love/lust read with fantastic characters. The club's construction company is called to to do an estimate on the property that Laiken inherited. Hammer is the head of the company and he knows at first sight that Laiken is meant to be his.

"My Mischief-maker.
She’s about to blow into my life and leave a wake of destruction, fun, and color in her wake."

Laiken is just has taken with him as he is with her but it may take her a bit longer to come around to his way of thinking. I love this couple. Laiken is no shrinking violet and definitely gives as good as she gets and Hammer loves it. The banter between them is hysterical and it seems in some instances they purposely set each other off. Devil's Haunting is an absolute must read!

'I think that it was when I turned 30 last year and saw all my brothers finding love that it really hit me.
I was done with random [women] and only caring about the construction jobs I was doing, my bike, and my brothers. Will I admit to anyone about how damn loud my biological clock is and the need I have to put my baby in the right woman? Hel no, I’m not interested in being laughed out of the clubhouse or looked at with a scathing side eye.'

I loved this book. It was such a fun biker romance with a little haunting to spice things up- perfect for Halloween! Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Laiken and Tripp/Hammer. He was lonely for his forever Old Lady, and got his wish when he fell through the porch of Laiken's inherited house and then catches his first glimpse of her. She met his gruffness with sass and he was immediately sold that she was the one for him. The chemistry between them was scorching. This was such a fun read and I was hooked! 5 stars

Laiken and Tripp

DEVIL'S HAUNTING is part of the  multi-authored 31 Days of Trick or Treat: Biker & Mobster series. It's is also part of Ember's Devil Saints MC: New Orleans world. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her biker romance. Tripp "Hammer" is a hunky member of the Devil Saints MC who also works for their construction company. Laiken is a sassy, curvy artist who has inherited her late great-aunt's estate. When she gets to the old mansion, it's clear that alot of work is needed. Tripp comes to give her an estimate for the renovation and restoration and knows she is meant to be his. Throw in a haunting, a curse, and some voodoo mystery and this is quite the story. The chemistry between these two was pure fire and the ending was so happy. I loved it so much.

Laiken is surprised when she finds out she is heir to large fortune, from her grandmother's sister she never knew about. The house needs a lot of work but she has a lot of money to fix it. That need leads her to Devil's Construction and Hammer/Tripp. Tripp thought this was just another job until he sees her, Laiken, his little mischief-maker. He knows he has found the one and he ready to start on what will be their home.

No Halloween story would be the same without a ghost or two. There are spirits that need closure, and since it is New Orleans, add a voodoo priestess into the mix. This is a steamy read with house drama.

When Laiken inherited a house from a great aunt she never knew. She heads to New Orleans to check it out and finds love at the same time. Hammer is a member of the Devils Saints MC and the contractor who shows up to give Laiken an estimate on the renovation work. These two have an instant attraction, and they are so perfect for each other. This is a well written MC romance with paranormal twists, ghosts, fun banter, great characters, and a great storyline that held my attention until the last page. Devil's Haunting is a wonderful addition to the multi-author 31 Days of Trick or Treat: Biker & Mobster series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. Oh my goodness! I loved this book! I love that there are a few characters interwoven from some of her other stories, but if you haven't read you won't be lost. Also make me want to read the other books to meet the other characters!

Ok anyways, this book was awesome. Had instalove, a possessive, protective, obsessive, motorcycle club mmc who owns his own construction and restoration business. The fmc is an artist who is so strong, tough, full of heart, passion and loves just as fiercely as her man. Throw in some ghostly hijinks and a curse and I couldn't put it down!!.

Wow, this was a great book! Ember Davis always does a great job with her characters and the storyline just flows!

Laiken was left a home by a family member so she decided to fix it up and keep it but she really had a lot of work to do on it. Deciding to reach out to a local construction company, she finds herself face to face with Hammer, who is also a patched member of the local MC.

The attraction between them both is immediate but Laiken fights it every bit of the way but Hammer is determined to convince her that they are made for each other.

Incredible book, Ember Davis, as always!!!

I have to admit that this book gave me the chills but when you read the story you will understand why. I enjoyed the book and I loved the insta attraction/love between Hammer and Laiken (his mischief maker). I actually found the story quite fascinating delving into the history of the house that Laiken is having renovated. I have been a huge fan of Ember Davis for a few years and I was so happy to be reading another of her books. They all have a good vibe about them and the story and characters are always upbeat that put a smile on your face. Another great read!

She hires his company to fix her house that she inherited and he knows immediately that she is his but he doesn't want to scare her so he builds her trust but refuses to let her stay in that house by herself. Little does he know that she really feels the same way about him. Once the admit their feels for one another and get the spirit from the past out of her house they can get their happy ending or is the past gonna keep them apart.

This isn't your run of the mill MC romance. Laiken gets a phone call that will change her life when she learns about an aunt she never heard of. It takes her to New Orleans and an inheritance that has a past that begs for redemption and when it comes to fruition it will bring on the dawn of a new era for the land and the women who lost so much. It is a well written story with paranormal elements along with colorful chat had me engaged in the story right from the beginning.

Laiken inherits a house from a great aunt she never knew. The house itself has potential to be beautiful but it needs a lot of work. Hammer a member of the DSMC shows up to do the estimate and literally falls for her. The house is weird and hiding secrets from the past. It’s a story that sucks you in and demands to be finished. Hammer and Laiken are adorable together and I love the journey they take to their HEA.

First time reading this author. I'm sure I'll be reading more by her.

This is Tripp and Laiken's story. Laiken inherits her great aunt's, who she knew nothing about, home. Maybe I should call it what it is, a falling down old mansion, in New Orleans. Tripp is in the Devil Saint's MC. He also built up the Devil's Construction for his club. Do you see where this is going? Yep, you guessed it. Laiken needs a construction crew and Tripp to the rescue. I enjoyed the story. I just wish there was more of the haunted ghost aspect.

I love the all of Ember's books and Hammer and Laiken are no exception. I enjoy the build up everything but this one with the journals I had Skeleton Key vibes half the time. I love the families in her books and how they dont discriminate. Also love that instead of assuming the men are cheating when an angel tries to mess with them the girls always show claws and claim. Loved it can't wait to see what's next.

Haunted Renovation

When Hammer goes to.meet a client for a renovation he never expects the house to be in need of so.much work.or that the owner is meant to be his but he knows the moment he meets Laiken after falling through her rotted porch. Lauren feels the Instant attraction but is more skeptical but she still agrees to let Hammer aka Tripp move in during the renovation and she is happy she does as she learns more about the house's history and its haunting in this engaging read.

There was romance, mystery, and haunting which made for an intriguing read. I loved Laiken and Hammer "Tripp". Im happy we seen some past characters from the motorcycle club. This was a fun and spicy read and I love that the New Orleans vibe was well done. Adding in a witty and clever artist who's match is a protective and possessive MC member/construction business owner, well, you have a page turner in your hands ;) Throwing them together for a restoration project gives them the time to find their way to a fab HEA...and to trip over some ghostly hijinks ;P I loved this one and will be diving into it again and again ;D

I love the DSMC series books by Ember Davis! This one has her signature instalove "my woman" vibes with a nice side of safe paranormal that is perfect for Spooky Season! Both of the MC's are endearing, likeable, and together they are combustible (in the best way!). This is a great quick read steamy romance and absolutely more than worth the time it takes to read!.

Team bikers! Devil's Haunting Rocks!

For a novella this one packed a punch. The characters were great and the story was rich with a solid foundation from previous books. I loved the New Orleans location and the mansion gave it a gone with wind vibe. For those that don't get the reference, it just means a old pre-civil war southern atmosphere. So, get on board and enjoy this must read, five star story! Peace out, ladies.🎃💀

This was an intriguing read, dealing with history of past’s occupants, a take charge guy and a sassy new homeowner. Liked the immediate reaction from the MC’s as they both felt the same attraction. Enjoyed how this delves into a something different a little spooky, yet still kept it realistic. Loved how this turned out for all the remaining characters as things settled down.

Devil’s Haunting

Laiken meets Tripp when she asks for a quote to renovate the large home she inherited in New Orleans.
Tripp is a patched member of the Devils MC as well as the boss of the construction company the club owns.
As soon as Tripp sees Laiken he knows she will be his old lady/wife. He’s seen his brothers fall fast so he isn’t running.
Loved this book, now I have to go back and read the ones before it.

The author has given us a suspenseful story that pulls us into the lives of Laiken and Tripp/Hammer. The heart pounding story keeps us turning the pages with connection, curses, ghosts, determination and steam.

This was a great instalove romance. It was a fast paced story that had a wonderful love story and a bit of a twist also. I liked the way the story was written and the history of the Landry family was very interesting. I loved Hammer/Tripp and Laiken, they had such great chemistry.
