When I picked this up I thought "Oh great... yet another Spider-Man story." Marvel Select have gotten a little one-trick pony when it comes to character representation, this being the 4th of five Spider-Man stories in 2024. That being said, I really enjoyed it. This five-part story is a great introduction/summary of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Each segment sees him face off against another foe with some indication that time has passed between stories, even that there have been previous encounters with the villains.
As a book, it's a little redundant if you've seen any of the films or know anything about Spider-Man, but it's bright, cheerful, fun and entertaining.
