In a realm where legends breathe and fate demands blood, one maiden’s passion might just burn it all to the ground…

Daphne Stone wasn’t supposed to survive wielding Excalibur. She definitely wasn’t meant to unearth the long-buried magic that ties her and her sister, Gwyneth, to the Hallows themselves. Yet here she stands—defiant, alive, and more dangerous than anyone ever imagined.

As Daphne surrenders to the scorching heat between her and her knights, their bond deepens, igniting something ancient and unstoppable within her—something the Hallows both fear and crave. But Malice is closing in, and the legend of the Lady of the Lake looms like a death sentence, whispering of a sacrifice that cannot be undone.

Love can't save them.

The Idols demand the original ending. The knights will risk everything to change it, even defying destiny for the maiden who has captured their hearts.

And Daphne? She’ll damn the consequences for their love—even if it means her own destruction.

Author’s Note: The floof has left the building! This book cranks up the spice as Daphne claims the pleasure she deserves. Fairy tales are turned on their heads, hearts are broken, and the cliffhanger? Well, that’ll have you throwing your Kindle across the room. You’ve been warned!

Adaline Winters

Adaline Winters writes heroines who bite back and the alpha males who fall to their knees because of it. Known for weaving sizzling tension with deadly twists, she delights in leading readers through stories full of betrayal, desire, and the kind of cliffhangers that leave you cursing her name—and still begging for more. If there’s one promise she makes, it’s this: her heroines will never go quietly, and her heroes will never come out unscathed.

She lives in England’s Lake District, where the scenery is dramatic, the weather is stubbornly grey, and the dog in her house is somehow even more chaotic than her characters. Her husband and daughter are used to conversations being interrupted by sudden mutterings about plot twists or declarations like, “What if I just kill him instead?”

When she’s not plotting new ways to make her readers scream (and swoon), Adaline is probably crocheting blankets that never turn out quite square, or losing precious writing time to her daily Wordle obsession. She claims it’s brain training for crafting fiendish plot twists—but in truth, she just likes to win.

Romance novels are her first love, especially those where strong, sharp-tongued heroines drive alpha males to the brink of madness. That’s the energy she channels into every book she writes: sharp, sexy, a little ruthless, and completely addictive.
If you like your stories dangerous, your tension sizzling, and your heroes utterly undone by the women who refuse to bow… welcome to her worlds.

Wow, I am a little lost for words as the ending just traumatised me. It's Fantasticly funny like the previous books, so witty. Every story Dephane falls into just becomes instantly better. She is just brilliant how she changes all the twisted fairytale darkness and makes it better.
There is plenty of sausage and spice along the way.
Great storyline. The series just gets better and better.

By now I should realize this author is out to frustrate and “kill” with her cliffhangers.

I tell myself constantly I must love it since I keep diving in.

Daphne is back and her four men and her are up for a doozy of a journey. After the last book - no surprise.

Super spicy and side cast of characters that I love.

Be prepared to be gutted at the ending.

Well, I probably should not have finished this book when I did, because the end wrecked me… my dog passes away tonight, I just had a baby 6 days ago, and my hormones are at an all time rage… and the next book isn’t supposed to come out till NEXT YEAR?!! This is now bueno.

Okay, enough complaining.

So, now that Daphne has Excalibur, she and her sister have found a secret library, Charming is as “charming “ as ever (but getting better… might even become endearing?) and Daphne’s knights are the light, dark and everything hot and bothered in between, the Quest of their lives begin.

I’m not sure what people will consider spoilers, so I want to be careful not to ruin everything for you.

This book really goes through several different storyline’s that don’t necessarily belong to the Grimm universe.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m totally here for it. The way this writer had interwoven the magic mirror, with a whole different world is beautiful.

My concern is how everything will come together at the end with the storylines becoming as broad as they are.

I guess I’m a little traumatized by the Game of thrones ending not living up to expectations, and now, with fantastic stories like this, I really am looking forward to a creative ending that ties the loose ends together.

What happens with Poseidon?
Does the Mirror find its shards?
Can we talk about Dark and sexy Nash? I always figured he was more… but I need answers.
Who was Malice? And why does everyone in Wonderland recognize Daphne?

Maybe we will be lucky and the book release will be sooner than 2026…

Please 🙏🏻

Daphne’s chaos has her trapped in Atlantis with the god Poseidon, Excalibur, and her magic mirror attempting guidance. After deals with sea witches, a collection of creatures including a genie, a broomstick, and an angry goddess, Daphne and her men head to Wonderland to find the Grimm Brothers in hopes of changing the story…

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Wonderland, bit of spice, Daphne’s obsession with sausages and food

2) Red Queen, white rabbits, dragon problems, and Charming becoming charming and

3) Touch her and die from the four knights, orgasms as punishment, and hints of Daphne’s true nature. Unfortunately ends on a cliffhanger like the others and book four has yet to be released.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daphne’s adventure continues as she attempts to stop Prince Charming from kidnapping her sister and finds herself in the middle of her own kidnapping. Dragons, shape shifters, curses, King Arthur, gods, Lady of the Lake, and some Snow Whites and Sleeping Beauties only prove that if Daphne wants to help her sister, they need to change the narrative…

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Theo, Hart, Malacai, and Nash are determined to keep Daphne, even if they have to share her, and each one is possessive in his own way

2) A fresh take on fairy tales, the narrative, and how it reflects on the characters themselves and the route their lives take once they accept the narrative as determined by the Idols and

3) How Daphne’s chaos forces the narrative on his head and puts her smack down in the middle of every story.

inconsistency

I enjoyed the first two books much more than this one. Daphne’s childishness was just too much in this book. The spice is okay but happens at the weirdest times and too often. Her obsession with sausage is also so overplayed by this point. Not to mention all the innuendo in front of others.

Too much happens in this book. Daphne ends up traversing 4 different “worlds” and it just feels like too much for a single book. Especially considering book one was a much slower place and only in one “worlds”.

My biggest issue is the relationship between Daphne and Gwyneth. In the first book they’re introduced as non-blood related sisters, with different parents. However, some time in book two, they suddenly become actual blood related sisters, and no not by magic, the author messed up. This becomes a real big problem in the final chapter of this book because it affects the entirety of the plot if they are in fact not blood related, as stated at the beginning of book one.

I’m not sure if I’ll continue this series, it’s super interesting and the world building is great, but I’m just so over the FMC.

Nope I'm not OK. How did this funny and creative romp through fairytales and magical lands with Daphne and her men, sidekicks, sister and Charming, end up with such a cliffhanger? I kinda expected it. It's an Adaline book after all and she does love a cliffhanger. But I was loving the action, the steaminess, the love and the humour. I wasn't ready to be left with so many questions and still so many secrets to unravel.

Destined is a brilliantly witty and hilariously pantomime like adventure romance. That Daphne has her 4 men is a given now. These 4 would do anything for her. And together they form a cohesive whole. Every character in this band of fairytale explorers has a part to play, even Charming and the capons. I love that they have each others backs and are all becoming stronger versions of themselves through battling together for this greater purpose.

I get a strong sense that this journey is all just puzzle pieces fitting together for a grand finale. It will all make sense. I have faith things are happening the way they are meant to (*she says, hopefully 🤣).

That ending, you know you see it as it's happening and you shout, no no no no no noooooooo! The foreshadowing since book one gah!

This book took us across several different realms and was quite the journey for our band of merry men and maidens. Book one Daphne I could shake, she was a lot but now she is just like that friend that you can't take anywhere without her embarrassing you, and having to roll your eyes at her but you love her anyway.

I went through an array of emotions In this book, shock I'm looking at you Charming, Sadness I'm looking at you man In the mirror, (anger let's face it I'm looking solely at Adaline Winters when I say that) joy because frankly the whole book is bonkers but I just loved it.

Well we are in book three let's face it if you didn't like the series you wouldn't still be around so sit back and enjoy the ride for the wacky, zany bit of fun it's intended to be.

Bring on book 4 and all the things I want to see happen, I have a list!

Brilliant spin on fairy tales
The adventure resumes with Daphne and her entourage as they continue on their unknown, tumultuous journey to change the narrative. 'Calamity' by nickname, Daphne continues on in the same ilk throughout this brilliantly, humorously written, and descriptive book, meeting various characters and creatures along the way. Daphne struggles to deal with everything going on around her, but still manages to find time to develop the relationships further with her Knights. 🔥
Adaline Winters spins the well-known tales again throughout Destined, mixing and twisting the norm in her own unique style, pulling you deeper and deeper into the story. 'Destined' definitely suits this book. Couldn't put it down. Loving the Hallows series so far, I can't wait to find out what will happen next. Hurry up, Adaline!

Every time I get to read another book from this series, I fall in love with the story even more! I love, love, love all the different fantastical worlds Daphne visits and becomes immersed in! So many childhood favourites reimagined and brought to life again in this exciting, one-of-a-kind story!

There’s definitely a lot going on in this book, having met many characters by now and visiting several different worlds, but it’s exciting to try to guess where it’s all leading to. Honestly, this is one of those stories that’s impossible to predict what’s coming next, so it’s fun to just go with the flow and enjoy this crazy ride!

I wish I had even an inkling of an idea of what’s to come, but I truly don’t know how the story will continue after that last cliffhanger ending. All I know is I’m excited for the next book already and I’m here for whatever new adventure awaits!

Noooo! Adaline how could you do that to us 😭

My heart is still racing at that cliffhanger of an ending and I am torn between being speechless and wanting to wave my middle finger and give a big F*** you to the Author 😂

This was a ride. It was funny, sad, beautiful, heartwarming and chaotic.
I loved that through this book we saw more of Daphne's one on one moments with her knights, their heartfelt conversations and of course the spice helps too 😉
She starts to feel so much more real for me when despite being surrounded by people who love her, her 4 knights who admire her and her unwinding destiny she still has those moments of self doubt and worry that she isn't enough.
Despite still being clumsy and chaotic, despite still having her obsession with sausages and her funny Daphneisms, this time she is a woman on a mission and she is becoming so much fiercer and determined in doing or indeed undoing what needs to be done.

I think this might actually be my favourite of the 3 books so far?

Regardless of whether you're beginning book 1 or about to read this book, you'll have a whirl of a time reading Daphne's story. It's a fun read, quirky as anything with a heroine that will have you giggling, and knights that will have you salivating. The spice definitely picks up in this book, and alongside Daphne, you'll be falling even more head over heels for her knights. I love each of the characters, main and side, even the ones you least expected to.
This author's world building is brilliant, and she definitely leaves you wanting more with cliffhangers that leaves you speechless. Destined was no different, and after that ending, I need more. I can't wait to read what else is in store for Daphne and her knights.

More, please!

Star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice Level: 🌶🌶
Darkness Level: 💀

Adaline always promises a great story, and she delivers once again with Destined. She takes us through various lands, with villains and mischief aplenty, mixed with Daphne's special brand of calamity and the four delicious knights who accept every inch of her, flaws and all.

Destined starts where Tangled left off, and we get yo travel to new lands, meet new fairy-tale characters, and go up against new and old villains.

And in true Adaline style, she leaves us laughing, crying, and with another cliffhanger that makes her readers beg for more.

If you love fairy tales, why choose romance, and heroines that make you laugh out loud, don't miss out on this excellent series.

I dont know what to say, i went into the first book hoping it would be a duoligy, then i read the second hoping it would be a trilogy, but now i have finished book 3 i truly hope it will be another since i do not accept this ending. This book has in my opinion been more messy then the two first and i haven’t really know what way it would go, ofc i also expected that since Daphne is chaos on two legs. And what else can you expect from a trip to wonderland? But now that things finally seemed to at least slow down a tiny bit this ending happened? I cant accept it so i need another book, i need to know everything will turn out fine

Looking for an escape from reality? Winters heats things up in the next installment of our favorite calamity Jane. The lady of the lake has come up for air but is jumping straight down the rabbit hole. Mixing fairytales, reverse harem and a girl who brings chaos every where she goes, you never truly know what is going to happen. Daphne is a delight to read and her adventures are packed full of heat, tension and some comedic relief. There’s a lot that happens in this book so get your emotions ready because there are some doozies! Can’t wait for the next one!

Continues on from Tangled.
Daphne is stuck in the Land of Reflection and meets Charming. Malice is causing issues in Daphne’s land.
Gwyneth and the knights know that something is wrong. They need to find Daphne.

The knights get Daphne back. They know need to find the Grimm brothers but they stumble into Wonderland.
Leaving wonderland they venture into the Frostmere where the Snow Queen rules.
Trouble seems to follow them wherever they go.

Leaves on a cliffhanger. Now have to wait patiently for the next book.

Bunkum poop 🤣 And more sausages galore.

It’s another wild ride with Daphne, Gwyneth, the Stirlings and all of the magical sidekicks accumulated along the way! In Destined, we continue to get closer to learning how Daphne can control her own fate. One thing I really enjoyed in this book was getting to see different worlds and how they all connect, whether that includes villain or hero.

Daphne is truly faced with who she is and what she is willing to give up for those she loves throughout the story. I cannot wait to see what will happen next after that ending!

What is Adaline Winters trying to do to me with that ending? I'm in shock and slightly traumatised! I love all of the Legends of the Hallows series but this is by far my favourite. Daphne is off again on her chaotic adventures, this time exploring new realms with her quartet of knights - who doesn't love a visit to Wonderland and the Snow Queen's realm. These books are full of humour and adventure, and I'm desperately hoping there is more to come!

Get ready for wild ride. This is book three of the series and it was my favorite book so far. Hilarious, a bit strange, delightfully spicy, and even a few tears were shed. A perfect blending of silly and heartfelt love. It is also a unique and cool take on classic fairy tales like Alice in Wonderland, Grimm Brothers and Camelot. You won’t be able to choose which brother to all in love with, but I think I have a thing for Hart. I am just dying to find out what happens next.

Just love this series

I love the unique twist Adaline has taken on the classics. The way she intertwines the stories is so creative.

The character development as we head into the final stages of this series is great and the spice levels are building as well. Of course, it wouldn't be Daphne if there wasn't some ridiculous comedy thrown into the mix too.

Can't wait for the next book!

Adaline!!!! Stop leaving us hanging!

I genuinely love this series so much, it's just fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. If you need a quote to convince you to read this series here's one: "What a mellow. Sausages solve everything." But which kind of sausages are we talking about? You best read and find out!!! ;)

The spice is heating up in this though!! Naughty Knights and their floof fondling!

I just really enjoy these books and highly recommend them.

Ok, now I'm going to go wait patiently for the next book.

Another fantastic book! Book 3! This takes up from where the last book ended and we are straight into the action. I love Daphne and her calamities as well as her hot knights. The writing is very good - laugh out loud af parts and beautifully descriptive- when describing the fairytale land - I wouldn’t mind a visit. Don’t want to leave spoilers - thoroughly recommend this book and this series. Another amazing book from this author - never disappoints !!!

Way to break a girls heart!!! The queen of cliffhangers strikes again and has left me with the biggest wtf face ever. Our Daph just keeps shining her glorious heart out all through this book and makes you want to just give her big hugs all the time. The supporting cast get better and better with each chapter too. Another great installment and now I have to wait very impatiently for the next.

I’m still so obsessed with this series!! Usually book 3 of a Romantasy slumps for me personally. However this was not the case!! I’m still feral for all the characters and their banter.

If you want a different Romantasy read that is light, easy and spicy then I 100% recommend the Hallows series!! Bring on book 4 🤩

Another amazing story from Adaline. We have the third book in the series and my gosh there’s a lot going on. That ending!!! I need the next book already. I love all the Stirlings and of course the chaos that is Daphne shines in this book yet again. The side characters are easy to love as well, another great book.

Summary: Daphne and her knights , Charming and her sister journey through wonderland. She meets the brothers Grimm and sacrifices herself to save the group…

The book was messy plot wise and not nearly as funny as the other two. I also really disliked the STRONG correlation to Narnia(the white witch, lion, sacrifice, snow queen palace, frozen people statues, etc)

Daphne (FMC) doesn't let up on this caper with all of the funny escapades and situations that she got herself into. I hound myself laughing all the way through it. More so as she dragged her 4 men and her sister into sll of it with her. They made for a cracking read but that cliff-hanger ending was a jaw dropper that's for sure. I'm looking forward to book 4 now.

Beautiful Chaos

Take the stories of your childhood, the Disney tales, the darker Grimm versions, the wild ride of Lewis Carroll into Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, and into the hidden realm of Narnia. Throw them all in a blender and mix them up with humor and spice and even a dragon! I honestly have no idea where this story will take me next, and I love it!
