Out here in the depths of space, aboard a colony ship headed for salvation, I instead found temptation in its darkest form. He watches me. Not like the others do--with their fake smiles and rehearsed welcomes. No. His eyes are empty.
Dead.
Black pools of nothingness.
I'm awake now. But I'm starting to think I would've been better off in hypersleep. Whatever the truth is on this ship, it's ugly. And I have this horrible feeling that by the time I figure it out, it'll be lost to insanity.

This book holy crap okay?! There was so many wtf moments the whole time I was reading. The story kept me on edge and wondering what was going on like I had to keep reading cause I needed to know what was happening and what was coming i was questioning everything right along with her! I honestly at one point was like is she insane and imagining all this shit like wtf is going on 😂 so it was a great experience and a whole roller coaster of a ride. Vex can consume and destroy me any day alright? 🥵
I’ve never read a deep space horrormance but this did not disappoint at all! Ivy did amazing keeping the story intriguing and painting the perfect picture to the point I could imagine the ship and see everything going on right along with Cora! This book will have you up all night reading because you will have to know what happens next!
“You’re an ocean at midnight. Deep, mysterious, with currents that run far beneath the surface.”
Passenger Frost is finally awake and everything around her seems off - yet she tries to adjust. She is drawn to Vex, almost instant attraction. (Her nickname from him? “LITTLE ONE”) He’s different than others she’s encountered since waking up. Little things that take place, has her questioning everything that’s happened since she’s been awake & all the interactions she’s had. But are the answers she finds out, worth it? Ahhhh!!!! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
When I tell you this book will have you questioning everything throughout the whole thing it will. It’s a total mindf**k, but in such a good way!
Imagine waking up on a space ship somewhere out in deep space, and finding out you’ve been asleep for a WHILE. I’m talking years, decades even. And you wake up to a completely different way of life, insane technology, and peculiar characters. You can’t help but feel something sinister is afoot.
This one is quite different from my usual read but with that being said it did intrigue me to keep going and see what happens. I am not one for a ton of romance in a book, but this story had a lot of other things going on to balance that out well.
It’s a quick read from an indie author close to home so it felt good to support and try out something totally different!
