In the first installment of Parallel Planes, the agents of the Global Research Center (GRC) are propelled into action when, after more than a century of global peace, unusual developments cast a prism of doubt on the future.
Unknown to most, the GRC, the world agency responsible for anthropological initiatives that have enhanced cross-cultural relations and fostered international cooperation for generations, has developed the capability to explore divergent timelines to harvest information about parallel worlds.
When indications of a data breach at GRC headquarters raise questions about potential threats, elevated security concerns lead to an inquiry. The GRC must interrupt its operations for an internal investigation into the possible misuse of sensitive alternate timeline research.
With a high-tech, top-secret base in the Nevada desert and a quirky crew of devoted agents, scientists, and analysts, the GRC must unravel the mystery and uncover the possibility of a secret agenda.
Comradery, courage, and conviction carry the GRC through this urgent mission, and the journey takes them to wondrous alternate realities that reveal the heights and depths of human civilization.
Intersection is a feel-good adventure for readers who enjoy plot-driven stories set in vivid alternate realities.

I love finding a good Sci-Fi that has potential for a long run of future books, a series of movies and/or a TV franchise. Intersection: Parallel Planes by Ayden Lockwood is just such a find. In Intersection: Parallel Planes, agents of the Global Research Center (GRC) are concerned when a global world peace seems threatened. Unknown to the GRC, another secret government agency has developed the capability to explore divergent timelines and parallel worlds. With a great cast of characters, Parallel Planes presents a mind-bending series of potential story lines as a Divergent Timeline Team seeks to unravel what seems to be going wrong in our timeline by exploring what has gone wrong (or right) in other timelines. They also want to know who is behind the suspected sabotage. As I said, infinite story possibilities about an infinite number of parallel planes. For instance, why does the Sphinx have a nose in the latest timeline explored and is it significant. Five stars for Parallel planes and for Ayden Lockwood. I recommend the journey.
Intersection is a riveting exploration of alternate realities that takes readers on an exhilarating journey across six distinct worlds. Ayden Lockwood skillfully weaves together complex narratives that expand our considerations of divergent paths, historical consequence, and the nature of reality. The story begins with the Global Research Center, a transnational agency that discovers pathways to alternate realities, each with its unique histories and societies. As the narrative unfolds, the reader is introduced to richly developed worlds—one where civilization exists in balance with and at the mercy of nature, another where biological threats reshape society, and others that exist in shades of dystopia and utopia. Each setting is vividly described, allowing readers to immerse themselves in these captivating realms. What sets Intersection apart is its intricate plotting. The author masterfully juggles multiple storylines, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. The intertwining actions of the characters across different worlds create a tapestry of experiences that highlight the interconnectedness of their fates. Themes of purpose, destiny, and the ripple effects of variable outcomes of historical events resonate throughout, prompting readers to reflect on their own lives and societies. The character development is particularly commendable. The agents of the Global Resource Center are relatable and driven, navigating a range of dilemmas that push them to challenge psychological and physical limits while maintaining their relationships and upholding the mission. Supporting characters are equally compelling, each contributing to the overarching narrative while bringing their unique perspectives to the forefront. Overall, Intersection is a thought-provoking and imaginative addition to the science fiction genre. With its richly constructed worlds, engaging characters, and profound themes, Lockwood invites us to ponder the infinite possibilities that lie within history. This book is a must-read for fans of speculative fiction and anyone intrigued by the idea of what could have been and what could be.

If you're looking for a thrilling, plot-driven story that prioritizes excitement over deep character exploration, this book is a solid choice. IMO, Intersection is a delightful start to the series, leaving you eager for more!
Fun story. I was quite surprised. It was lighthearted and entertaining with lots of mini adventures that kept me intrigued and looking forward to each chapter. Didn't want to put it down. Can't wait for the next book to see where the characters end up next, and I'm kinda curious to see how the larger plot introduced in book 1 continues to develop as the series goes on. I hope the pleasant surprises continue.
