Survive Demon Reform Academy, break the curse, seal my fate, and destroy Dark Veil before it destroys demonkind.
The curse woven into my soul wasn’t just draining my powers—it was killing me. And the only way to break it was to claim each one of my mates, ensuring all five matebonds connected to my soul were sealed. But that meant delving into the broken parts of their souls—and worse, facing the darkness dwelling within my own.
Dark Veil’s corruption was relentless, a plague spreading through the Demon Capital. They wouldn’t stop until I was dead. I was born from their darkness, but I refused to be another one of their victims.
With my mates and the Supernatural Council at our side, we weren’t just surviving anymore—we were hunting. Dark Veil’s twisted cult would be torn apart, piece by piece, until nothing remained. We held a secret weapon their leader would never see coming—Nebula—the last remnant of her familiar, who held the key to unraveling her magic.
Victory was the only option. To reach it, I had to break free from this curse and embrace my destiny before Dark Veil took over not just the Demon Capital but demonkind all together.

This was a really satisfying conclusion to the series! I’m so happy that both the main characters and side characters finally got their happy endings. I especially enjoyed the character and relationship development in this book, particularly between Pandora and the mates she bonded with over the course of the story. It felt authentic that it took her different amounts of time to connect with each of them and build romantic relationships that weren’t solely based on being fated mates.
It also felt like all the major plotlines were wrapped up well and received the endings they deserved. I liked that the reader was given a glimpse of a potential new storyline set in the same universe. I can’t wait to hear more about these characters!
The only thing that left me a little disappointed was how easily the main conflict seemed to be resolved in terms of fights, and I felt like the middle part of the story dragged a bit.
DNF @34% p187/594 Chapter 19(Pandora) Welp. I got through the first break, but then I put it down again, and here we are. I just feel like this series could’ve been edited down to a duet and it would’ve been much more entertaining and fast paced. This series just started to drag after the first book. All the dramatic moments would have very similar outcomes or consequences, the relationships were moving at a snail’s pace emotionally with a couple of them, and I think the big plot was kept too far away to be truly interesting. Plus, everyone but Pandora seems to be useless at fighting the enemy, which sorta circles back to my point about the consequences of the fights being Very similar.
🤷🏻♀️I knew putting it down once was a risk. The second time I took a ‘break’ I should’ve just gone ahead and thrown it in the DNF pile, and moved on. 😂🤦🏻♀️
I received an ARC ebook. OMG a great ending to an amazing series I also love how we were introduced to the fmc for the next series and in the newsletter the author said that we also meet some of her mates in this book. These was definitely one scene weee I teared up but it all worked out in the end. I loved Pandora getting all the love and the family she always deserved. Dex,Bram, and Skel changed for the better and were able to heal some of their trauma and all her mates helped each other when they were going trough shit.
Here we are at the end. It’s bittersweet every single time we come to an ending of one of Lyra Winters series. I do always love the cast of characters that she brings us, but I’m excited for the ending and for the next series to begin. She wrapped up the ending of this very nicely. She had me laughing and even crying. I loved seeing the continuous tie-ins with Fate Hollows that you did see previously with the other books in this series. The continued growth with the bonds of each character mate bond. But I’m also really excited to look for each little tidbit that lead to her next series! And let me tell you I think that one is also going to be fantastic. I’m so excited to see what she does with it. Until then all of her other books and this will be on repeat!
OMG 😭 just wow so beautiful 😍 I wish it would never end. I laughed, cried, clapped my hands when everything was do right. cheifs kiss just muaaaah. love everything about it. can't wait to see what you write next.
This was the absolute perfect ending for this series. Tears, laughs, anger, and all the feels! I loved this series and Pandora will always hold a special place in my heart. Lyra Winters is amazingly talented and the way she spins her words and her worlds is truly astounding.
This is the LAST book to this incredible series! As sad as that is, it was well worth the wait. This series was another fantastic story in the world of Kalista. I’ve never been so excited ecstatic to ARC read for an author. Lyra Winters is my top favorite. This story was so inspiring and heartwarming. You will want to cry, you will 100% laugh and you will probably crave passion fruit lemonade by the end of it or a Carmel frappe. I absolutely enjoyed the plot through the whole story. The characters are all unique. You will see some characters from Fate Hollow Academy. (Which I squealed about.) It was such an amazing read and incredibly enjoyable from beginning to finish, ups and downs. I rarely give 5 stars but this series is well worth it. Round of applause for Lyra!
such a satisfying ending for Pandora and her men 🖤 this book picks up a lot in the spice. and you see the connections deepen between all of them. you also get to see all the growth and healing Pandora has been through. Dex and Bram also heal even more and get the revenge they deserved against their sperm donors. this book is a journey to the end. there isn’t just one moment of taking down Sybil, so you’re able to go along with them all in it.
Lyra returns with Demon Reform Academy: Term 4, the final installment in her dark academy romance series. She delivers a great blend of emotional depth, character evolution, and high-stakes drama.
Term 4 delves deeper into the psyche of Pandora and her five mates. Lyra has shown the nuanced portrayal of their growth, highlighting the healing processes of characters. Her narrative doesn’t shy away from exploring themes of self-doubt, relapse, and the journey toward self-acceptance, making the characters’ arcs profoundly relatable.
The series’ universe expands in this term, with Lyra weaving intricate plotlines that intersect with Fate Hollow Academy series. This crossover enriches the lore and offers us a deeper immersion into the world.
Demon Reform Academy: Term 4 offers a satisfying conclusion to a series that has captivated me with its blend of dark fantasy and romance. Lyra’s ability to craft emotionally resonant characters and a richly detailed world remains evident. For fans of the series and the genre, this installment provides a compelling finale.
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE! I laughed. I cried. My heart broke. I felt so much joy. Truly an emotional roller coaster. Lyra never fails to deliver and term 4 delivered and exceeded expectations. I’m so sad to be parting with these characters, you truly got to know them and love them through this series.
I love how Lyra tied off loose ends not just for Pandora and Kalista but also her mates and their stories. I also love that we get to see so much more of Jenni and Death. I was very happy that some of my guesses about what would happen came true also.
To Lyra, you ripped my heart out and stomped on it and then when I thought it would never beat again, you fixed it and made it so much better. I absolutely love you and I can’t wait for Apex Elite Academy.
What an amazing end to this series, I cried. Multiple times. Thank you for that Lyra. But seriously I loved fate hollow, I’ve read it multiple times, demon reform is right up there with it.
The character development and world building was great in fate hollow, but I think it was even better in demon reform. At the beginning of the series some of the characters almost felt unredeemable, then you get to the end and you’ve fallen in love with them.
To get to experience the growth of these characters from the beginning of the series til now was truly a privilege, I’m going to miss them.
Bonding, sacrifices, cameos from fate hollow characters, what more could you ask for?
Wow! What a greeting ending to the series. A lot of the questions and plot holes from the last book were wrapped up here and while I still have a few lingering questions I was overall happy with this series conclusion.
I was impressed with the character growth from all of the characters and seeing how much each of them have grown from book one is impressive.
The only thing I wish were different was the conflict resolution. I feel it was ended too quickly and I wish we could have had more.
I was sad to see the series end, but I’m excited to see what comes next from Lyra.
I’m so happy to be apart of the ARC team and to have revived this early. I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on it.
overall good series and a good last book in the series. Ties up ends, revenge, imaginative deaths and punishments, blood gore, cute pets and cat sanctuary, dark magic, and more mates bonds, more characters that could only be inserted for a suggestion of a new series involving them...*cough cough...Rune...*
It was a busy book, and as well as the dark, sad and thrilling moments, there were cosy, funny and steamy moments!
Kept me engrossed, and is recommended...not sure if it's one of my favourites or will be in my reread list, but it's still a good 4 to 4.5ish stars book/series
Oh my goodness.... the amount of moments this book had me shouting in happiniess and then crying from the grief all of these characters went through. Im sad for Pandora and her mates story to end but I couldn't have asked for a better one <3
I received an ARC copy, which I am so greatful for as I love this series and other books written Lyra Winters. I went in to this book both not wanting the series to end but also wanting to know what happens. She didn’t disappoint, it was a great ending to the series. This series has been full of cliffhangers and honest I thought she’d leave it as a cliffhanger just to tease us all but no Pandora got the ending she deserved as well as all of her mates. I can’t wait to see what comes next! *cough* Apex Academy *cough* Love the teaser of the next main character for the next series of books. The way Lyra rips your heart out and then puts it back together again throughout every book in the series including this one is both awful and amazing. I’m addicted. Give the series a read if you love a romance where they all develop at their own pace and not just jump on one another because they are fated mates.
I loved the ending of this series. I love all of them together and her dad and his mate (her best friend) are just amazing. I need more from this series. I loved all the books.
I just lost interest in it, and I might come back to the series later. Overall, it’s a safe read—with minor OWD (none of the MMCs entertained it), virgin MMC and FMC, no manhoes, no others after meeting, no cheating, and a HEA.
ARC Review of Demon Reform Academy Term 4 by Lyra Winters
100% amazing read! I loved Fates Hallow Academy, but Demon Reform Academy hits just as hard and just as amazing! The guys are so great! Pandora is amazing and strong. There is just such great world building; no down time, never bored. Relationships are developed stronger.
This is such a great series it will definitely just like the other series be a comfort re-read for me. You will need tissues, but you will also laugh. I had to have my own Gumdrop with me as I read. I am so happy with the way the series ended but also so sad to say goodbye.
ARC Review Lyra, as always, is a fabulous ending to a series. This book took me for a roll coaster ride, and I happily enjoyed every second. 🥰 There was a scene where I did tear up ( IYKYK). If not, then you must read to find out. I can't wait to see what happens next in Kalista. Again, great job, Lyra 👏.
I have loved this authors books but this entire series felt sooooo drawn out. This easily could’ve been a duet. It’s like 15 chapters of copy paste conversations, 1 chapter of action, rinse & repeat. I understand the intention but do we really need to rehash the same conversations 100 times? Like, literally the SAME conversations, word for word. Ugh, this series really just fell flat for me.
Always happy to spend time in Kalista! We were introduced to Lyra's magical world in her first series, Fate Hollow Academy. Loved the series, can't recommend it enough. We were introduced to the next series (Apex Elite) FMC in this book and I already love her and can't wait for her books!
As for this fourth and final book in the Demon Reform Academy, I think this is a case of not every book is meant for every reader, for me personally. This series is so dark and very touch her and you die heavy and I learned that's just not my tastes. Also having the death of my favorite character constantly looming over my head and bringing down the mood wasn't enjoyable. Even with the HEA ending, the overall tone of the book left me down in the dumps and just didn't hit.
In this series, we really only see the Demon species. Whereas in Fate Hollow there was a huge mixture of species from the world of Kalista. I missed the variety of species in Demon Reform, so I'm happy that Lyra's next series will have Basilisks and Phoenixes, as well as other species from Kalista.
And while I'm ready to move onto Lyra's next series, if a Jenni, Daddy Death, and Joel spinoff ever were to happen, I'd be so down!
I loved this so much. It took me a while to get through cause of exams and assignments but it was an emotional roller coaster! Everything with nebula made me cry so many times. It sucks how the bonding with Bram and Dex happened but I love them so much, sybl deserves to rot in hell and worse for all she’s done. Reed melted my heart as usual. kinda wish we got more hunter chapters but overall amazing book and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I swear to you I could have cried at the end of this book simply because I don’t want it to be the end!!! Especially with this book, I’m so attached to the characters. This book wrapped up the series so perfectly, I truly loved this book so much. This felt like the right way to end the series, I’m in love with this series so much!! The character development from book 1 to this book, is insane!! It’s so special, I can’t wait to reread the whole series
A powerful story of a woman who beat the odds stacked against her. Pandora is a strong female character who inspires readers and teaches lessons to others worldwide. Every time she and her fated mates are knocked down, they get up stronger than before. She is the epitome of what others strive to be. Her humility, strength, sense of justice, empathy, kindness, ability to love deeply, willingness to fight, and bravery are truly admirable. I have learned many lessons from this series such as how to channel anger and pain into productive solutions, looking for the good in every bad situation, and a healthy way to manage conflict with loved ones. Many other characters have preconceived notions about her based on her father’s nobility status, looks, power, and fated mate's ranks. Regardless, she proves at every turn how wrong their narrow-minded beliefs are in a mature manner. The recurring theme in not only the book but our society as a whole is skillfully handled and proves that money and class do not matter. Every person is the same, with a different start in life and story. All are equal and can unite to create a gateway for change through determination and open-mindedness to others. She uproots every original belief with the help of her mates, family, and allies by proving that lower-class demons are just as powerful, if not more, than nobility. The theme of overcoming obstacles in your path will make you become stronger is an example that others can apply to their own personal lives. Pandora’s relationships with her father and chosen family is not only adorable but inspiring. It showcases that change is possible through hard work and commitment. You only need the will to be better along with the encouragement to grow. The many relatable and common issues that every person has witnessed or dealt with are portrayed in this series, which gives a guideline for others to follow and apply to their own day to day lives. The growing brotherhood between the men is a wonderful example of collaboration and respect for one another. Nebula is the character of the year in my eyes for his maturity, wisdom, and fatherly love for Pandora and her mates. This novel will give you many highs and lows as you live vicariously through the characters' perspectives. Prepare some hot tea and tissues before you begin reading as you should expect to shed many tears. This is an incredible story that portrays hope for a better life and will give you many laughs, mushy feelings, happiness, sadness, and smiles. The Demon Reform Academy series is a true work of art that has made an impact on my heart. I have become attached to the world and its characters that the incredible author and wordsmith Lyra Winters has created. To Lyra Winters, I am truly appreciative of the hard work and dedication to creating life-changing and original stories for us readers. You are an inspiration and have set the bar high for other fantasy romance authors to follow. I will forever cherish the incredible stories that you have gracefully shared with the world. Thank you for all of the time and energy you put into your work.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and am sad to see it end, but am glad we will be seeing more of Kalista, even though i did enjoy that this series focused mainly on demons as sometimes having to remember everyone was a bit confusing. though it would be slightly easier ( but not necessary ) if you had read fate hollow academy series.
Fave tropes: -Multiple mates -found family -touch her and d*e vibes -grovelling
Review: This book started right of the bat from where the previous book ended, and was slightly fast paced to fix the issue that was currently at hand, which meant Pandora had a complete Mate bond, without fully forgiving some of her mates.
Though Dex and Bram pull through with their grovelling ( love Bram poems, he is my fave)
i like the pace of this book and how it fits all the POVs in, i feel like this book hit the quota for how many POV each MC had ( obviously Pandora had most as it is her story)
Cat sanctuary was the cutest but could also be painful as Skel found out.
Joel and Jenni , was expected but enjoyed the reveal. including Death, i enjoyed the snippets we got of this Trio
the mix of missions and story progressing and character growth, and Pandora having time with her mates individually and as a group was well planned out and i did not find anything lacking.
The slowburn between Pandora and Bram, slightly killed me but we finally got there at around 60% in and then we got to even more partial group shenanigans @68% but the full group shennanigans hits @ 75% and at the end of the book. i enjoyed the spice of this book both in group and m/f pairings. and did not feel it was just placed there.
the power of Pandora and her mates is amazing and i loved seeing them grow confidence since book 1
i enjoyed the tidbits from Gumdrop and Comet but Nebula stole the show and broke my heart a little
the ending... so glad for the HEA and how we got a little peak into whats in store for Kalista and a certain Rune

What can I say! I have been a die hard fan and follower of everything Lyra writes! The world she has created is just divine! I still think of the date hollow academy daily and now to have been a part of the journey for pandora and her mates has been nothing short of a joy! The atmosphere is different to fate hollow. There is more danger, more threats, more heartache and pain. But Lyra has proved that she can create characters with complex and painful back stories and successfully over the course of the series mend and heal themselves characters. The growth and healing and happiness that they fought and scraped for themselves has been heart wrenching to experience but it's been genuine. Nothing was rushed or forced. Everyone's growth flowed naturally. Pandora is a true survivor, a warrior! She experienced more pain than anyone ever should but she didn't let herself drown in it. She fought for herself and for her mates. She found strength and courage to protect those she loved. As did her mates. Watching all of them develop as characters has been a joy. A true masterpiece. I have cried more in this book than in any other book I've ever read and Lyra made my soul hurt. But thankfully she put it back together like she did with pandora and her mates. I am genuinely saddened that the series in over but I am filled with nothing but excitement for her new series in the same world! If I could give Lyra 10stars I would! What an end to Pandoras story. Nothing was left out. Everything slotted into place. The pacing was fantastic. I literally no joke read this book in one evening. I couldn't face the thought of waiting to see what happened to pandora and her mates. My heart was in pieces. Thank you so much for letting me be an arc reader for this series. I genuinely think she is one of my very favourite authors of all time.
Ok, so this wrecked me. I don't know how many times i cried in this, but i did. I don't even know where to begin. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful, loving, and everything in between.
So Term 4 picks up as Term 3 concludes. In this instalment, we see it all come together with Pandora, her mates, and their story. Pandora and her mates focus on bringing down the cult that all had a part to play in all their history in one way or another. Whilst also growing the bonds between Pandora and her mates. It was so sweet that we truly got to see the real Bram, and he's such a good mate to Pandora. The character growth for not only Pandora but her mates from Term 1 to Term 4 was just so special, too. I don't want to say too much because i don't want to give anything away because I want you to experience this for yourself. Just know that this series is incredible, and I'm sorry it's over.
I loved that we did get a glimpse into who's story is possibly next and maybe a mate (i could be totally wrong but i got some vibes), and if I'm right, then we are in for one fun, Chaotic filled ride, and I already have a tonne of questions.
As always, Lyra, your writing is incredible. Thank you to you and your lovely team for the opportunity to read this story. I am extremely blessed 🙏
Also, that dedication hits so true and is so beautiful.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶
🐈⬛️ why choose 🐈⬛️ multiple pov 🐈⬛️ hurt fmc 🐈⬛️ Redemption 🐈⬛️ found family 🐈⬛️ fated mates 🐈⬛️ character growth 🐈⬛️ lots of sacrifices 🐈⬛️ spicy 🐈⬛️ so much more
So Lyra Winters has outdone herself again. The final term of Demon Reform Academy was spectacular and was set up hints to her next series. . . Apex Academy!!!!! Which I honestly can not wait for her to start writing when she is ready. I had to savor reading this, even though I wanted to devour it all in one sitting.
So for the final term we had a few laughs and cry's thanks to how her world was set up.
First: even if I predicted Joel being mates with Jenni I was still so excited to see him get his powers back and Death stop being so possessive lol.
Second: Brams father not only killing his mother but being a serial unaliver . . . and his death was long awaited along with Dex's fathers.
Third: the saddest part was Pandora having to sacrifice Neb to stop Sybine broke me. He was there for her for so long and been through so much I knew it had to be done but that Pandora had to do it was making me tear up a bit. The fact her other mates, father, friends and council thanked him for sacrificing himself to stop the Veil and Sybine was soooo touching too.
Even though this book lets her next series I wish it had a glimpse into the future for them all maybe a hint of future kids for both sets of mates or some kind scene where they are all in the council room together since they are all on there together now. Either way I hope they also pop back up in the next series.
