The Bad Boy Stole My Bra

Rate this book
Picture this: You wake up in the middle of the night, swamped in your star wars covers and completely and utterly groggy to the extent that you look like something from the Monsters Inc. movie. You hear a sound, so you sit up and turn your lamp on, and that’s when you see it. Your new neighbour, clambering halfway through your windowsill (Still managing to look like some sort of a Greek god, may I add) holding your MICKEY MOUSE BRA. What do you do?

Well, you scream obviously. Then what?
Why, you get revenge of course.

I remember when I discovered wattpad in mid January of 2014. I went 50 shades of cray because all those books, so less time. I probably read more than 25 completed books in one month. I started reading incomplete books after that and at a point my library was full of books which were never updated and thus I bid the beautiful world of wattpad farewell. I was on the site for 3 or more months and in that period I read tons of bad boy falls for the good girl books. I forgot most of the names but do rmember the plot since they were all the same. I particularly remember Cole and Tessa from The Bad Boy's Girl because the writer was amaziing and so were the characters and dayumm her titles. One of my friends notified me during the Christmas hols that JessGirl93 finished the book and started a sequel and I was like wutt. I rushed back home, to my laptop, finished TBBG and started looking for more books with bad boys because let's be honest here, who can resist the charm of those leather jacket cladded mysterious lads even though they shout "danger" and in my case"Do not waste your time reading the same plot over and over again". BUT I WAS NEVER THE ONE TO LISTEN TO MY INSTINCTS CUZ I AM A SAD MASOCHIST. So I started reading The Bad Boy Stole My Bra and I absolutely loved it. Now here are the reasons why I might have felt so:
1) I read a bad boy book after so longg.
2) And this time I really am in love with a bad boy who is wayy out of my league. THUS THOSE BOOKS ARE MY FANTASIES OKAYY
3) The plot was pretty different though. The bra stealing part was hilarious and the female protagonist wasn't exactly backboneless nor was the epitome of an angel.
4) I started reading it on New Year's Eve, I was in suck a good mood, which is why I must have been extra happy and must have liked this book a little too much

Unique plot and not cliché. And his pick up lines are the best about this book!! Riley's attitude is captivating and Alec, as usual Greek God. Incredibly hilarious and just beautiful. "I love you Riley Greene, more than Mickey loves Minnie." And that's the best thing about this book ;)

I've missed the Wattpad feels. I also choose to read cutesy-awkward romantic teen fiction when I'm on it. And oh boy, was this fabulous.
Alec Ryder. I love you. I'm going to add you to my list of fictional husbands. Though oddly enough, you remind me of Reece Carter...I can't be the only one...right?
But all I really have to say is:
Hilarious title.
Amazing characters.
Cliché yet unique at the same time.
I LOVE IT. You MUST read it.

One of the best book on Wattpad. I really love it, it stands out within the cliche stories that you find on here. You can really relate to Riley, personality wise and all but you also can't help but fall in love with Alec who is incredibly adorable and sexy, hilarious and just beautiful inside and out.

When I saw a title of this book I was like " I need to read this!" It was a perfection. I had a really bad day but when I started reading this I forgot why I was nervous. Before I know it I'm laughing so hard :D
Alec was a really cute in the beginning but latter you can see his better and sweet side.
What to say? I'm in lovee!!!!

Disappointing. How the hell are poorly executed books so popular on Wattpad? I'm beginning to lose faith in the world.

Bad Boys...those wacky little piece of shits seem to wiggle their way into almost every Wattpad book, don't they? Description of a Bad Boy: rides motorcycles, wears leather jackets, etc. Wow. Hate to burst your bubble, but hundreds of people wear leather jackets (they're cool, okay?) and ride motorcycles (they were meant to be a form of transport, NOT a trademark symbol for a bad boy)

I'll tell you what? Most people on Wattpad don't write out of passion: they're all vote buggers. The "popular" books on Wattpad are most likely to be the shitty ones.

The Bad Boy Stole My Bra...how creative -.- The first few chapters were fine, then it all went downhill. I don't trust the majority of opinions on these books anymore.

I mean, there are books with lesser reads on the site which are fantastically fabulous, but then stuff like THIS gets popular.

Peace Out.

I read this forever ago on Wattpad, so I don't remember everything too clearly, but I do remember enjoying it A LOT when I read it. I remember a few pieces of the story, and considering I read this years ago, I think that says enough about this novel and its effect on me and my memory (it is memorable). I would love to reread this story because I would love to get a fresh perspective now that I'm older. All-in-all, it was a good read! I would consider this a Wattpad Classic (:

The FEELS!!!!! I can't handle this!! Alec and Riley otherwise know as Rilec are just absolute PERFECTION!! I love them so much! I loved this plot since the very beginning and won't stop on the last page. I will always remember this amazing story because it was just so perfect! I wouldn't even think to read it any different. This book is what perfection is. Thank you. I don't know how else I can express how much I loved this book, it's plot, it's characters and just the growth throughout the book. It was phenomenal. -had to use autocorrect to spell that one..haha

I have a thing for bad boys. Yep, you read that right. I read a bunch of books on wattpad-specifically bad boys stuff, romance and fantasy, and honestly, most of them was crap. I know writing a book is hard but ugh I JUST DIDN'T LIKE IT, KAY? But for The Bad Boy Stole My Bra it's different. I have mixed feelings about it. It'a not a really good book but it's hella addicting.

Both of the characters was oblivious and guess what? They didn't kissed until Chapter 32 and it's only up to Chapter 35! *facepalm* And another, guess what? There wasn't any progress of Riley and Alec's relationship until that chapter. I WAS WAITING FOR IT FOR A LOOOONNNGGGG TIME. At one point, I wanna stop but at the same time I want to continue reading because of Alec. Honestly, it was really frustrating. Riley was one stressful character, in a bad way. She acts like a pure innocent kitten because she won't cuss. She says grasshole instead of asshole. It's just weird and kinda irritating (and at the same time funny? PS: Her comebacks are the best.) Alec on the other hand was a fun character and started to be an asshole-or should I say grasshole, then he turned to a sweet, possesive, bad boy kind of thing that's been going on, in almost every wattpad book I've ever read.

The book was really cliche. There's the bad boy who own's a motorcycle( correct me If I'm wrong) and wore a leather jacket. Typical bad boy, eh? The almost perfect guy, the prankster and the player. Then came a naive girl and then they became a clique. GREAT. BUT It was full of FEELS and I can't stop grinning even if it really is predictable. I was left with one question though, how the heck can they jump into one another's room using a window? Take note that they're not in the same house, it's just that their windows are kinda close to each other..? It's hard to explain gah. I can't really imagine that kind of house to be honest.

PS: I just noticed that this review is full of BUT. Yeah yeah whatever hahaha :P (ehh I'm using an emoticon, what a happy day!) AND there was a lot of comebacks that I saved so that I can use it, shhh.

This book was hilarious! I found it to be absolutely amazing and I couldn't put it down. It was exactly how high school is portrayed: full of jocks, manipulative cheerleaders, and people who don't fit in anywhere. I loved the bad boy next door plot and even its cliche moments were anything but cringe worthy. It went from parts that made me die of laughter to others where I wanted to cry my eyes out. I also really enjoyed the way we got to see the story in Riley and Alec's POV. I could see the way their feelings slowly developed, even without them knowing. I felt their heartache and their joy and ever tear and I loved the writer's style.

A time capsule, of sorts, so painfully capturing the internalized (and here, externalized) misogyny of the early 2010s Tumblr/Wattpad era.

This book was just... Amazing!

I can't even put it in words!

Cherry_Cola_X is an amazing author.

If you have Wattpad, you should definitely read her books and follow her.

You should also read her other book, I Almost Killed My Crush's Mom!

I strongly recommend this book!

I adored Riley and Alec's relationship, but I felt it could've been better developed especially with the bad boy image and getting to know each other. But I loved Alec's pickup lines and Riley's comebacks which made for a very fun read.

I like this book though this is definitely not my favourite romance novel. I felt the beginning was a bit rushed. The narration is good and hooks you from the beginning. The plot is simple- Alec steals Riley's Mickey Mouse bra and she tries to get it back, both of them developing feelings for each other in the process. The characters are all very likeable. Though Alec is a "Bad Boy", the book doesn't seem cliche because he is also Riley's "The Boy Next Door". The humour is good and Alec is one of the most perfect protagonists, from his confidence, to his good looks (duh), to his corny and cheesy pickup lines. It is definitely a very interesting and entertaining read.
