The residents of the Village have managed to overcome all the trials and tribulations. Under Nicholas’s leadership, they have achieved the seemingly impossible. Combined the incompatible. Reconciled the irreconcilable.
They have grown stronger where others would have given up.
Well, we see the world they've been dropped in is much larger than anyone thought. We now know there's 130 groups of people dropped in to the world. Some are less advanced then our main settlement, while others are of course more advanced. But, what happens when some of the main characters meet a city that is a mixture of the two? Well, that's the main focus of this book, and it's a pretty good read all things considered. We see the main village upgraded, we see an outpost created, and we see the main character get carried several days journey from the settlement. With elves, lizards, and other humans stirring up trouble, what's to be done? Looking forward to the next book in the series.
he broke the pattern on this one. in the past three books he'd defeat a race they join the village. no lizard folk will be joining the village as yet but maybe not never. it's just a fun little read, that ends in a cliffhanger. I dislike when authors do that but that's a personal thing. I almost gave this three stars because of the way it ended. I'm not going to tell you because I'd be a spoiler. if you want to know read the book. it's worth it you know there's going to be a book five.
7/10 yes this was an arc copy. I did send them a list of corrections.
I love this book! I don't know why, but I do! And reading this feeds my addiction! Nicholas' town continues to grow as the Orcs join up, as this is the first town with three distinct races living mostly harmoniously they received a reward too! And soon everyone starts making friends with each other as they end up fighting together inorder to protect the town from the outsiders! And ohhh don't forget Hedgie the companion beast, he's invaluable. He fights, well like, the beast hedgehog he is, and he's gotta nose for treasure!!! So grab the book, to see what Nicholas, Anna, and Hedgie are up to!
The grammar, spelling, and readability of this one are all very poor. I had to quit reading after 30 or so pages as it was not getting any better, and it was too much to ignore. I do enjoy the series, but this book needs some serious proofreading and editing. I did give it 3 stars because I am hopeful being the first three; with their own editing flaws, were still developing a decent enough story. I do hope this one can be edited and updated on Kindle, and book five has more time spent before the release.
