Cassidy Walker is coming up to her thirtieth year on this earth, and looking back she’s feeling damn good about how she’s gone about her life so far. She has the job, the sweet downtown apartment, the friends, and the choice of a lover whenever she wants one. She can’t see herself anywhere else. Her friends have a different idea as to what her next decade should look like. Each of them has made the move towards a more domestic life and apparently, they want that for her to.

A blind date pushes her into unknown, but maybe not unwanted, territory.

He's hot. He’s smart.
He’s driven. He’s loyal.
He’s everything she’s never wanted.

Hunter Hill feels good and settled. He’s taken over his family’s farm and made something of himself. Each day is filled with purpose and each night he sleeps hard. He knows there is more out there than such simple living, but never felt the need to go in search for whatever that is. Finally deciding to take the next steps in growing his family legacy, he signs up for a date that knocks him on his ass.

He’s always known what to do and how to react, until now.

She’s breathtaking. She’s funny.
She’s strong. She’s stubborn.
She’s his end game.

An attraction that sends these two into one memorable summer.
A battle between lust and love.

This book had everything you could want from a country boy + city girl romance!

Hunter is from a small town, owns/runs a farm and is ready to start looking for someone to settled down with.
Cassidy is a city girl on a mission to keep her life simple with her ok job, her awesome girlie group, and most importantly to remain single.

They end up hitting it off on a blind date, and then they have to navigate their long distance situationship.

There's some tension/build up and the spicy scenes are so hot 🥵

Hunter was dominant but also very sweet and generous.
Cassidy has no filter and does what she wants.

This was book 1 in the Pebble Creek series, and I definitely want to read his brother Harrison's book!

ೃ⁀ ➷ A heart-melting small-town romance where they’re friends-to-lovers and he falls first? Sign me up, now! This book had me completely hooked from the first page to the last!

Hunter Hill is the softest softie you'll ever meet, while Cassidy gives out such a magnetic, fiery city-girl energy which will have you smirking at her smart little comments. Both characters are wonderful people who know exactly what they want for their future. Until one night, a blind date shakes up Cassidy's world and blurs the lines between what she thought she wanted and what she truly desires.

The dual POV in this book gives us a look into Hunter's thoughts about Cassidy and let me tell you, that man is one hell of a catch. Seriously, I'd marry this man if I could! As for Cassidy, her vibrant personality was always sparkling throughout the book. But, I wish we got to see more of her transition from denial to accepting what she truly wanted because the ending felt a bit rushed (the reason why I had to deduct a star from my rating). But altogether, the story was absolutely adorable and it played like a perfect romance movie in my head while reading.

๋࣭ ┊➸ Thank you to Sunny Babe PR and Lee Jackson for this adorable ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Oh gosh this was a fun cowboy romance.
Hunter is yet another book bf to add to the list. Why you ask because firstly he's a cowboy, secondly library, thirdly he reads to her !!!

When a dating app match turns into a surprise blind day, you'd think it'd end right there.
Oh my gosh what a meeting too. 😅 "moo" 🐮

These two really cared for the people in their life. But neither one ever really thought of settling down. Hunter is just working and caring on his farm.

Cassidy is an independent city girl who knows what she wants and what she wants is to just live her life contently, alone.
She doesn't do relationships. Growing up with her dad, she's learned you don't need a partner to live life.

But meeting Hunter changes something and she's unsure how she feels about it.
She just wants one night, that's it.
Except Hunter wants more.

I loved these two together, the banter and the love you did notice growing between the two.
Hunter getting possessive haha he did not like Dominic.

I really enjoyed it. However the ending was so quick. The epilogue while cute still left me wanting more. But overall I enjoyed this story.
I'd recommend it to everyone.

Thank you @sunnybabepr for this arc 🫶🏻

Omgosh!! This book. It was funny, sweet and beautiful. This has to be one of the most relatable stories I have read so far.

🩷MMC- Hunter Hill. Oh hello my new green flag book boyfriend! He’s your golden retriever cowboy but Mr. Alpha in the bedroom.

🩷FMC- Cassidy Walker. Ms. Independent, bookworm and lover of her “cows” (aka her besties!)

Being set up as a joke by her best friends leads Cassidy to meeting Hunter. Cassidy’s jokes and banter with Hunter had me laughing. Hunter taking it and dishing it back in his own sweet way was great. I really enjoyed reading these two grow throughout the story. Cassidy always saw herself as independent and not needing more than what she has: her freedom, her books, one-night guys— being her own knight and shining amour. Hunter was well off running the family farm to think of a partner. I loved Cassidy’s relationship with her 3 best friends. All their back and forth joking, girl time and advise giving was one of my favorite parts of the book. You felt as though you were apart of the group. —This story of finding love and your partner but still never losing yourself was so refreshing. PS. I need to get on Country Charm and find me a Mr. Hill 😉

Thank you Lee Jackson for this opportunity for a first read!🩷

Hunter and Cassidy were complete opposites in many ways, but they did have a love for all things books, small towns, and each other. The character development was realistic, and I enjoyed that for every time Cassidy wanted to break free from Hunter, she couldn’t.
For Cassidy, comfort and safety meant never getting involved with anyone more than a one-night stand, hanging out with her girlfriends and her no stress comfortable job. Although she played a strong tough as nails character, she secretly liked to be taken care of, for Hunter to cherish her, and for him to read to her. But all those good things came at a price. The price of letting herself be in a relationship. The hard part of taking chances. The really hard part of letting go of control and letting love into her life.
The only reason I did not rate this five stars is because I would have liked more between the ending and the epilogue. I don’t want to give spoilers so I can’t give any more details about that. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
Takeaway: Sometimes taking a chance, doing the hard things leads to the greatest reward.

Cassidy is the Ultimate city girl. She is set her self up to be the favorite fun aunt. With only having eyes for her career and having fun. No strings attached until her best friends do their yearly prank. They're four girls that come together during college and form a bond that nothing can break. With her other 3 friends either being married with kids, or engaged soon to be married. Cassidy starts to feel a little left out somewhat left behind. She starts falling for the country boy. Even thou she tries to fight the connect every step of the way trying to hold her independence as much as she can. Hunter is the Ultimate farm boy born and raise on that land now he takes over for his father and finds him self wanting more. With him not believing that they're a girl he can settle down with he tries to be the gentlemen instead of his usual playboy self. This is written in a DPV which is one of my favorite the book had me swooning and hooked from the first page its a must read cant wait to see what the other books in the series bring.

Country Charm by Lee Jackson 🐄🚜

I quite loved this story. It was a cozy read, and so charming. Unlike other small town romance novels I’ve read where the woman assimilates herself into the man’s world and farm, this novel featured MMC, Hunter leaving his farm for date nights to be with his city girl, Cassidy. He ventured into a new world to win over the love of his life, and I loved this dynamic.

The spice was explicit and fantastic 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I loved the world building and scene setting. Chefs kiss 💋 💋💋 Lee Jackson.

I can’t wait for book two in the Pebble Creek series!

“He mooed in my ear!”

Hunter & Cassidy 💞
These two had some brilliant banter. The forced meet cute by her 3 scheming friends was awesome.
I love a fiercely independent female, with a couldn’t care less attitude, that gets swayed by the charm of a country boy. Hunt melts Cassidy’s heart of steel that has been locked up tight for so many years.
The whirlwind romance has her second guessing everything she thought she wanted for herself. Her 3 besties are her found family, and are living their most authentic lives. Making Cassidy feel like an outsider at times.

“I will ride my own horse into the sunset and start a new kingdom. I will take on any challenges that cross my path with a veracity that no one can match. I will build a castle with a great big library. I will dance under the sun to my own music.”

Thank you to sunnybabepr & Elizabeth Lee Jackson for this arc copy in exchange for my honest review.

I honestly loved this book. Strong independent city girl Cassidy meets confident country boy Hunter. This was an insta-love, he falls first kind of book. I loved the inner monologues of both characters but especially Cassidy. It was interesting to look into her mind. I honestly loved Hunter. He is my type of guy. The best part though was Cassidy friends. They are like her family and they made me laugh so many times. I’m honestly jealous that I don’t have those kind of friends. In the end my only wish was that I would’ve liked the ending not to be so rushed. But for someone’s debut novel well done!!!

Country Charm is a sweet, small town romance, debut novel by indie author Lee Jackson. Cassidy and Hunter are both living and loving their single lives, finding no need to settle down yet. Cassidy is an independent, book loving, city girl with a group of close girlfriends. Hunter is the charming, hardworking country boy. I absolutely loved their meet cute, for such a sticky situation Cassidy was on her toes. The banter, the situation, how it ended, all of it was so good! Cassidy still is only looking for a night of fun and Hunter refuses to give in, intent on dating this spitfire. The rest of the novel was just as captivating. I can’t wait to find out what happens next in the series, with book two following Hunter’s brother Harrison.

“I thought I was alone.”
“Never again.”
This was such a cute, small town, cowboy romance. It was a very easy read, and I loved the “meet-cute” aspect of this story. When Cassidy and Hunter are set up on a blind date, as part of a prank, Cassidy starts to realize that maybe the independent lifestyle that she has created for herself just isn’t it anymore.
I love watching Hunter really try and put Cassidy’s feelings above his own, and how selfless he was with everyone around him. Cassidy had some major character growth, but can we get this girl a therapist? But overall, I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to pick up the next one!

This is a beautiful story about Hunter, a country boy and Cassidy, a city girl.

The story is told from both points of view and there is great chemistry between the two main characters.

Thrown together as a prank, Hunt and Cass find that they have a lot in common. No love story is without trials and tribulations, and they have to work through these to get their happily ever after.

As the title indicates, this book is definitely charming with some spice thrown in, and the characters are relatable.

Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Hands down the best book I’ve read so far this year. It is my Roman Empire. I’m in love with the cast and I cannot wait to see what comes next from Lee. She’s incredible and this book was the farthest thing from a debut novel.

Cassidy and Hunter were adorable. This book was a cute fun read, that gave me all the feels. Cassidy is so content with her life, too content and Hunter is there to stir it up. Also who doesn’t love a country boy?? If you’re in for a sweet small town romance I would definitely give this a read!
