All Tied Up by Venus Eos - That Didn’t Hit the Mark for Me

This anthology promised heat, kink, and a wide range of BDSM-inspired stories and while the concept had definite potential, it unfortunately didn’t quite work for me.

The Story
Or rather, the stories. This is a collection of short, steamy tales filled with bare-bottom spankings, power play, and dominant/submissive dynamics across a variety of pairings (M/F, M/M, F/F, and more). The themes are bold and unapologetically kinky, diving straight into erotic encounters with minimal build-up.

However, that was part of the problem for me. The stories lacked depth, character development, and emotional stakes. I struggled to stay engaged and found it difficult to connect to any of the characters or scenarios. Sadly, I ended up stopping after the second story.

Spice Level
Despite the explicit themes, the spice didn’t land the way I hoped. With a collection like this, I expected steam, tension, and chemistry but most scenes felt rushed and surface-level. There was more focus on physical description than emotional build-up or connection, which made it feel a bit flat.

Well I'm not gonna lie I wanted to see how good was the spice and for me it was a 2'5/5 or 2'9/5 Because yeah it's hot but it's not so explicit, which is great but there were some stories that I even wanted a hole book.
If we talk about plot there's not much because it's too short. If we talk about creativity I'll give it 3'5/5 Because there's some stories that I've never read something like that.
To sum it up I like it but I wish that each storie was longer.

Review for All Tied Up collection of short stories

I enjoyed this series of short stories from different couples. There is a mix of M/F & F/F & M/M to read through. I love a good bdsm story with lots of heat, bare bottoms reddened quite nicely. If you're looking for lots of reading about hot scenes along with commands from the ones who give them. I loved, loved the role play. That's one of my favorite types of bdsm. If you want a story with safe and sane power play, this book is for you.

This is a short story book. With each chapter new sub and dom character. Trust, respect, carrying, but also breakrules u get punished. Through the whole book spanking is the main subject. It’s hot and steamy. A must read for who likes spice dom and sub characters.
