He’s the author of four novels, including Cockwomble (2026), Missing Exes (2024), Cuban Contraband (2022), and Blind Luck (1998), his debut novel, which was selected as one of the favorite debuts of 1998 by Murder by the Book, one of the largest independent mystery bookstores in the US.
Ben lives in Houston, Texas, and Windermere, Florida, with his wife, Jody, and their dog, Dutchess.

This is a fun read! I loved seeing the characters from the previous novel, Cuban Contraband, develop to where I felt like they were actual friends of mine. This book is fast-paced and enjoyable!
