Missing Exes

Rate this book
What do an ex-FBI agent and an ex-exotic dancer have in common? Missing Exes! The latest thriller from the author of Cuban Contraband.

Jana Wilson and her boyfriend Rey have drifted apart. When he and their yacht, the Miss Jana, disappear, the police say he took off to get away from her. “He’ll show up one day,” they said.

Because he never takes the boat out alone, Jana is certain that the Miss Jana has been hijacked, and she believes Rey is in grave danger–if not dead. Frustrated with the police response, Jana reaches out to Alexander Christian, a part-time private detective and full-time beachcomber, who helped her out of a previous jam.

With nothing more than an empty boat slip to go on, Alexander investigates the disappearance of the Miss Jana and discovers that she is headed for the Caribbean. When South America becomes a likely destination, he recruits the one person he knows who speaks Spanish—his ex-girlfriend—who wants nothing to do with him.

Together, the unlikely trio of an ex-FBI agent, an ex-prostitute, and an ex-stripper race against time to save Rey and thwart the hijackers’ plans.

This is a fun read! I loved seeing the characters from the previous novel, Cuban Contraband, develop to where I felt like they were actual friends of mine. This book is fast-paced and enjoyable!
