This was my second series by Lisa Suzanne set in Vegas sports world and let me tell you I am hooked! I don’t know what it is about her writing but it just sucks me right in. It has the right amount of story, spice, angst; drama, heartfelt moments and fun. It also provides plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing what is going to happen next!
I have really enjoyed Cooper and Gabby’s story! It had so many things tropes I love including age gap, forbidden/secret relationship, best friend’s daughter, and sports romance.
Gabby and Cooper had an instant connection. From the moment they met, I couldn’t help but be drawn into their connection to each other. Their relationship formed quick and was intense. It almost felt like they were magnets and couldn’t help but be drawn together.
Throughout the series Cooper and Gabby struggle to navigate their intense feelings for each other, while trying to keep their relationship under wraps as Cooper has recently decided to return to his MLB career after a brief retirement.
As I recently listened to the Vegas Ace’s series on audio, I loved getting to see some of the characters from that book playing a role in this new series.
The audio narration of this book was so good! Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose did such a great job bringing these characters to life and making this story feel real in the way that only good narration can. As the series is over 20 hours of listening time I can say that I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved that this story had dual pov and the dual narration.

I have really enjoyed Cooper and Gabby’s story! It had so many things tropes I love including age gap, forbidden/secret relationship, best friend’s daughter, and sports romance.

This was my first baseball romance and it was perfection. I really enjoyed the chemistry and connection that Gabby and Cooper had. From the moment they met, they were like magnets. They were drawn to each other from the first moment. They made each other laugh and just got each other in ways no other person ever had. Cooper retired from Baseball after an injury but he is getting restless. He was offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to play baseball again. It was fate that brought Gabby into his life when he needed the motivation to make a decision most. Gabby is a senior in college celebrating her birthday when she stumbles into Cooper. One weekend, and they fall in love. Unbeknownst to them they are about to be thrown some major curveballs. The rollercoaster they went on was not only fun but emotional at times. The obstacles they faced were hard and designed to tear them apart. Will love be enough to overcome the obstacles. You will have to read to find out. I absolutely love this author. She writes stories that keep you actively engaged and cannot wait to see what is coming next. You will devour this series. I love the characters and the growth that they both went through to find their happily ever after. I absolutely love this author and the way she not only develops her characters but also the story. Her side characters always leave you wanting more as well. I cannot wait for more great sports romances from this author.

I love Lisa Suzanne I’m actually in my Lisa Suzanne era and I’m totally going to be fan girling tomorrow because I get to meet her at day two of Wild and Windy West!!! I love her and loved this book!! It’s got the total perfection of drama, spice, plot, and wonderful characters woven into a great story that tugs you in! Not to mention she’s great at the twists keeps you guessing what’s next.
I loved Gabby and Cooper it’s an age gap secret relationship that’s forbidden and it’s a sports romance! These two had great chemistry and they were magnetic towards each other! These two will pull you in and you won’t want to leave. I also loved how we saw some of the characters in the last series and now they are in this one!
Aiden Snow is one of my all time fave’s and he killed it this performance is fire 🔥 period it was so so good! And Stephanie did a phenomenal job bringing the characters to life. They both make you feel like a fly on the wall during their romance.

Audio Review:
Lets start with I have loved every series with Lisa Suzanne that I have read. That being said. This one was my favorite. Top Notch, Pure Perfection! Cooper and Gabby created such an amazing insta-love connection that you are rooting for them the entire time. They struggle but they find their way through the challenges together. Personal, emotional, internal, and external they fight the battles with dignity and with happiness and love in mind. Cooper won my heart from the very beginning and even when they make mistakes you never once start to dislike them. You just hope that their love will withstand the test of time and the complications that arise. This whole series was filled with passion, desire, steamy hot scenes and characters that you fall in love with. Even camo's from some other favorites.
One the Narrator front. Who doesn't love hearing Aiden Snow's voice. Perfect for the role of Cooper and how he portrays his strength, and his weaknesses. You couldn't have cast this role any better. Stephanie Rose, beautiful voice that gives the perfect sweet innocent, and yet can stand her ground when needed appearance to her narration. This was an amazing Duo and I loved every minute.

The narrators for this series did a phenomenal job in bringing this series to life.
The entire series follows the love story between Cooper Noah, the comeback player for the new Vegas Heat, the expansion franchise that started in Las Vegas and Gabby, the young, beautiful girl who is celebrating her birthday.
The owner of the team, Troy Bodine, asks Cooper to come out of retirement to lead the team and help Troy attract the talent they need to build a great team. While Cooper is in Vegas, he hits the blackjack tables to test his luck. At this table, he finds a beautiful young woman who seems to be ready to take the table by storm. Gabby, the birthday girl, keeps challenging Cooper and by the end of the night, they go back to his room and enjoy their time together.
The story that continues to build from there includes the fact that Cooper’s mother knows he has met the woman for him and he is reluctant to even admit that. He quits his job back in San Diego to take the job with the Heat. He talks to Troy and is concerned that he doesn’t have a place to live. Troy says that he can live with him until he gets a little more settled. Unbeknownst to either one of them, Gabby is currently living with Troy, and they meet each other in the morning in the kitchen. They are both freaked out by the fact that they will need to hide any type of relationship they may want to have. He tells Gabby that he cannot do this - he was hired to build a team and cannot do that with being with her.
Dad, Troy, decides to give Gabby an internship with The Heat and it would be dealing with the players so she will be interacting with Cooper on a regular basis. Which is very tempting for both of them. We also have an appearance by Danny Brewer, who also has his own spin-off series (Scoring Position part of the Vegas Heat: Bases Loaded series)
The push and pull between them is great and so tension filled. There are some significant life events that happen, and Cooper is made to choose between the game of baseball or Gabby, the love of his life. He has to walk away from her so he can keep his job. It is devastating to both of them. Through in the appearance of his ex-girlfriend and it kicks up the tension level ten times.

OMG Lisa Suzanne hit this one out of the park and it's definitely a home run!!! I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this book. I was hooked from the beginning until the very end. I definitely didn't want this series to end. I wanted to spend more time with Cooper! The story and the characters were well written. The narrators Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose were pure perfection! I loved their voices and they were perfect for this story. They held my attention and kept me entertained through the entire book.
Cooper Noah is a baseball player that was injured and left the game a few years ago but when his best friend told him he was starting an expansion team he decided to come out of retirement and join the team. When he arrives in Vegas to meet with his best friend to go over all the details he meets a girl. Little does he know that girl is about to change his life and things are about to get interesting.
Gabby lives in Vegas with her father that she never knew about until a few years ago thanks to her mother being a liar. She's out celebrating her 21st birthday with her friends when she meets a handsome guy that is older then her at the blackjack table. Little does Gabby know he's about to change her life and it's not going to be boring.
This book was so much fun to listen to. I was swooning like CRAZY in this book. Cooper is a new book boyfriend for me!! I laughed, swooned of. course, smiled so much that I looked crazy at times, and had my heart melting! I have to say this is one of my favorite series I have listened to of Lisa's. I have read and listen to a lot of hers and I love them all but this one just hit differently for me. I would HIGHLY recommend this series. I'd give it more then 5 stars if I could.

I know this is the wrong sportsball for today, but I’ve already posted my recent football romances. VEGAS HEAT: THE EXPANSION TEAM COMPLETE SERIES is a baseball romance series by Lisa Suzanne and narrated by Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose. In this series of five Audiobooks (CURVEBALL, FASTBALL, FLYBALL, GROUNDBALL, and HARDBALL) a new expansion baseball team was coming to Vegas and the manager and his best friend, wanted 33 year old Cooper Noah to come out of retirement to be the leader and mentor of the team. He was in Vegas overnight to hear the offer and met Gabby at the blackjack table. They shared a powerful and instantaneous connection, despite the fact that Gabby was at the casino to celebrate her 21st birthday. They both kept secrets: Gabby didn’t realize that Copper was a professional baseball player and Copper had no idea that Gabby was the manager’s daughter. They didn’t discover this until they were already in love. This is an age gap, forbidden, secret relationship, best friend’s daughter, contemporary sports romance, totaling over 23 hours. I enjoyed the push and pull of their relationship as Cooper struggles with their unconquerable attraction and his surety that dating Gabby will cause him to lose his best friend. They both wrestled with personal challenges and hosts from their past. I really enjoyed listening to the entire series at once and avoiding four cliffhangers. I also feel that a series of five, admittedly short, audiobooks for a pretty basic sports romance is excessive, and listening in one go is preferable since it seemed like less books. I really liked both main characters. I liked the way they fit together: their spicy chemistry, the obstacle in their relationship, and the ultimate resolution. The narrators were great, and it was enjoyable listening to overall. I was quickly engaged in the story and the series was well paced. I recommend this series for audiobook listeners who enjoy these tropes in a sports romance.

This is a 5 book series of the almost instalove story between Cooper, a retired baseball player eyeing and comeback, and Gabby, a College student recently turned 21 who he meets at a Vegas casino. They meet and share a passionate weekend together and they have such a connection they begin to make plans to be together when Cooper moves to Vegas. Little do they know of all the things they have in common they have one very important commonality, Gabby’s father is Cooper’s friend and new GM at the new Vegas expansion baseball team Cooper is joining.
I loved this story, each book had its own unique feel but they came together in the best way. You get to see over the course of 5 books how both Cooper and Gabby change each other in significant ways. While they struggle with how to be together and how to break the news to Gabby’s dad they struggle with the secret they are keeping and how to navigate building a life together when they still need to come clean. I loved how Gabby pushed Cooper to fight for their relationship. If you want a sports romances series with a lot of drama and steam this is a good choice. The best part is you can get all 5 books together in one audiobook.

I’d like to start by saying I don’t read very many baseball romances so I didn’t know what was in store for me!
Looking for a complete series audiobook with over twenty hours of listening time? And more twists and turns then your romance loving heart can take read/ listen to this series. This book has a few of my favorite tropes such as secret relationship, forced proximity and age gap! I loved how in love they were even if they had their rough moments! The narrator’s bring depth and emotion to these characters. When I got to the end of this truly amazing audiobook all that I could think was finally they can be happy together with there little family adorable! I can honestly say I will definitely be looking for more baseball romances and reading more from this author!

OMG!!! Lisa Suzanne!! I listened to the audio version & let me 100% recommend this series if you are going on a long trip! I will suck you in & you will love every minute!
I adored the meet/cute between Cooper & Gabby! Each of wanting the other to get to know their true selves without any background stuff to cloud anyone’s judgement. A blackjack table at Caesar’s Palace is where that magic happened! You could feel the love between coming from the speakers. When outside interferences arose, they tried to do the right thing & stay away from each other but you can’t fight true love & your heart, not your mind picks your soul mate. This series will take you through a rollercoaster of emotions but you will love every minute. *I prefer the set as opposed to the individual books because my ADD would go crazy!!

This series is a ride! From the very beginning, you know this is going to be one that takes a while to get to that HEA because there's a lot to overcome, but it's so worth the journey to get there. Are some of their problems self-inflicted? Obviously. But their fears make sense, and it makes for an on the edge of your seat series.
I really enjoyed these two together, even though IRL, I would probably feel a similar about the situation to how the dad does. But it's fiction, so whatever, lol. These two complemented each other really well and will make you smile.
I listened to this one on audiobook, and the narrators did a great job from start to finish. They really brought this story to life and made me even more on the edge of my seat at the dramatic moments. Definitely suggest giving it a listen!

This was such a great series! The narrators did an amazing job. As I went through book to book, I found myself wanting more and having the whole series on hand was such a great feeling. The plot was written well, I loved Cooper. I didn’t like Gabby at first but she won me over in the end. The side characters and bits and pieces of their stories added so much depth to the book. It made me even more interested in the other series. I recommend this completed audiobook series, and will be back to this author for more 🥰

Amazing narrators. Amazing stories. I am a huge baseball nerd so I absolutely loved hearing about these amazing characters and their happily ever afters. Gabby and Cooper were definitely my favorite couple. Them being brought to life by Stephanie Rose and Aiden Snow was spectacular.

I liked that this was a duet! I love a good sports romance. I have read and listened to other Lisa Suzanne books before too and loved them too. Always has a good plot and spice. I don't usually read a lot of forbidden romance but i liked this one.

Cooper has ruined my book boyfriend list. He is the perfect book boyfriend. He loves Gabby with his entire heart. He would do anything for her and to protect her. I loved watching him always put her first even when it was hard. He would put her first because he didn’t want to affect her family.
Gabby had my heart, and she was perfect for Cooper. She had a ruff family life after discovering who her father is. Once discovering who it was, she works hard to build a relationship with him. However, finding out Cooper was her Dads Bestfriend and new star player was not the plan.
What a season it will be!!

Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team is a 5-part series that must be read in order. If you enjoy insta-love, age-gap, or sports romance (baseball), this may be a story set you fall in love with!
Cooper and Gabby fell fast and hard for each other, but it was done in a way where I believed that even after a short time, they genuinely cared for each other. I rooted for them!
As the plot progressed, they were faced with obstacles they weren't sure they'd be able to navigate. There were a lot of ups and downs as they navigated those choices and what that meant for their life and relationship.
In each book, there was plenty of tension, drama, and angst. Along with the intensity of the story, there is also so much love, laughter, and steamy, spicy fun!
The narration of this series was performed well. The pacing was good, the chapter transitions were smooth, and the end and start point between each book was clear. I thought each voice actor was well suited to their character, and they changed their voices in a distinguishable way to differentiate between main and secondary characters.
While I liked some titles more than others in this series, as a whole, I found the Vegas Heat: The Expansion Team series to be an engaging, entertaining series to listen to.

Cooper and Gabby meet on Gabby’s twenty-first birthday, and sparks fly instantly. They spend the weekend together, but that isn’t nearly enough. They chose to keep the relationship surface level, so the reality of their crossing paths hasn’t come to light yet. When it does, their reality comes crashing down.
I adored watching them navigate the problematic predicament they find their selves in. They try to break up, but that doesn’t work. There are too many feelings involved. They eventually get their happily ever after, but not without a bit of drama. This series is available on KU and on Audible. You can get all five books for the price of one credit. Aiden Snow and Stephanie Rose narrate them. Aiden is always a delight to hear, but Stephanie also does an incredible job. I hope you love them as much as I did.
