The author was kind enough to gift me the prequel novella to this story, which I absolutely LOVED. The classified ads with the familiars looking for jobs was awesome!
Horse lovers should really enjoy this book. I always like hearing Aussie terminology, like "horse float" for trailer.
Riona has taken a job at a vet clinic and has no idea that she is a witch, or that her family lived on the estate where it was located years ago. The animals are great!
I'm excited that it's only a few weeks until the next book comes out!

Who dun it!
An amazing plot that keeps you guessing till the end! Who killed the vet and how? Who can she trust? What does her family have to do with this mystery? Also is she a witch? Are witches real? So many questions,so few answers! The characters are quirky, interesting, intelligent especially the animals! Read this delightful book and find all your answers! New favorite author, love how she makes everything so real and unique, she surprises with lot’s of mayhem and unexpected twists and turns!

Riona arrives at her new place of work and her new home. She is greeted by a cat and a horse. She has her dog, George, with her. She is the new intern at the local horse hospital. Riona has a lot to learn as she realises that her dead grandmother can communicate with her and that she is a witch! She learns that the cat, which she has named, Precious, and the horse, Princess, are familiars. There is a murder and Riona is a suspect, so she decides to prove she is innocent. An enjoyable read.

Riona starts as an intern at a vet hospitals. Strange thins happen. Up to find out what's going on. I just loved this book in this brand new series. Very entertaining, well written, nice characters. I'm already looking forward to the next book.

Magic Hooves and Ghostly Clues by Mimi Singer book 1 in Blue Wren Cottage Paranormal Cozy Mysteries. I really enjoyed reading it. I felt it was really entertaining and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
