Small Doses is the new anthology from Amazon bestselling author David Jester; with ghost stories, macabre horror, comic quips and dark humour, Small Doses combines a unique mixture of eclectic styles into one large anthology.
From the insane protagonists of Premeditated, Wipeout and Cold, to the unpredictable twists and turns of The Gardener and Peaceful Peak, Small Doses mixes quirky, classic and cult horror with a liberal dose of black humour.
Small Doses includes all of the stories from the author’s other collections, including Freddy’s House, Little Terrors and 16 Heatherdale Drive, along with previously unpublished bonus story, The Gardener.
David Jester is a novelist and short story writer living in the North East of England. His books include the comedy, An Idiot in Love, and the gruesome horror, This Is How You Die.
He is published by Skyhorse Publishing and represented by Peter Beren.
This anthology would've been 5 stars because I loved his horror stories. Full of suspense, truly creepy, and made you think. However, I couldn't get into the comedy section at all (that's why I knocked off a star). Not necessarily the author's fault. Comedy isn't really a genre I prefer. I don't know, I guess that section felt out of place.
