Her Grisly Grave will cause all kinds of reactions to erupt. Smiles, sadness, fear, wonder, and more. Every page will open a door to these emotions and reactions. This page-turner shows a softer more vulnerable side to Tanya. It makes you feel closer to this strong and human character. Max is truly amazing and plays an important role. All the characters are exceptionally written and deeply relatable. Not one fault throughout this story. A perfect picture painted with you in mind.
Tikiri always writes 10 star books. Highly Recommended.

‘Never underestimate your enemy’
Psychopaths are capable of more than what we could ever possibly imagine. The “reasoning” behind their crimes is just sooo beyond comprehension. The combination of usually high intelligence with their all-consuming drive for self-justice make them extremely unpredictable and even more dangerous. Their misdeeds are truly grisly…
We have reached the end of this crime-fighting, social-justice-seeking, K-9 series. Now, it’s up to us mere folk to take up the torch and carry on the work left off by our heroine and her henchpersons. Everywhere can use a wee bit of “housecleaning” done in order to make the world a safer and therefore healthier & happier place to live.
Heartfelt appreciation for those who make their living in bringing this about.

this book had so many twists and turns and the characters are just so complex and deep and you never know what's happening next.
I absolutely loved This book and this whole series. if you want to read this, I suggest starting at the beginning book because it's just an awesome storyline. But you can read each book on its own. although I think you get so so so much more out of it reading from the beginning and get to read more about Tanya and her adventures with Max!

Relentlessly suspenseful!
Tanya Stone and her K9 partner, Max, are back in the thick of the action once again. This story embeds its hooks in you on the very first page and never lets go. Whether you are new to this series or have been following it from the beginning, this is one story you do not want to miss. As expected, the writing is solid, the plot is enthralling, the characters are complex and intriguing and the suspense is off-the-charts. The bodies are piling up and things have gotten personal for Tanya when friends and family become involved in one of the toughest cases the police department of Black Rock has ever seen. Kidnapping, murder, cryptic clues . . . it’s all here. No spoilers from me – just my wholehearted recommendation to grab a copy of this riveting book and settle in for some first-rate literary entertainment.

Cat and mouse. Predator and prey. A psychopath is playing a deadly game with people's lives in Black Rock. He has no regard to human life. His calling card is to always leave a riddle.
Oh my goodness. This book sucked me into it's vortex from the beginning chapter. The action and chase/game is constant. There is no reprieve. The only question is who will be the next victim? The punches just kept coming. This twisty, jet-fueled thriller/mystery/police procedural explodes from page one and does not let up until the end. This is my first exceptional read by this author, but it will certainly not be my last. If you enjoy a menacing mystery with an unforgettable cast of characters, this book is just the ticket for you.

Although the plot and characters could be figured out fairly early (or I'm just a sucker for thrillers, crime series, etc), the author managed to still keep me hooked by her writing skills.
I knew what the sunflower symbolised immediately, why those targeted were chosen, and who the culprit would be almost immediately. However, I'd hoped for a grander climax.
I knew what was coming, yet I still held my breath at times. I read the first couple of chapters and put it down until the next day. The next day I devouered the rest!
Well written, fast paced but quite predictable. If you are into crime thrillers, and need an easy read, this is the book for you.

Tanya Stone FBI K9 Mystery Thrillers #6. I'm an easy sell on a police procedural that includes a K9. Tikiri Herath's statement in the synopsis, No dog is ever harmed but the villains always are, added an extra incentive to the book. A serial killer is targeting young, blond women, leaving the victims with a sunflower crown and eyes blindfolded. With each victim, FBI Agent Tanya Stone grows more certain that she knows the killer and his motives. Stone and her team work well together to find the clues and follow them to the killer. I enjoyed the first five books in this series and this one is a winner too.

HER GRISTLY GRAVE - I may have enjoyed this story more if I had read the previous books of this series. The characters and the story lines were interesting but the continued references to the past were distracting. There were several things that did not mesh giving a hollywood-style touch; definitely more a Cozy genre. Getting into the Griswold property and mansion, etc. Source: Netgalley. 3*
