Silver Fox CEO Will has the hots for his star analyst Beth, Will lacks common sense tact and insists Beth takes the office
space right next to his. Before you know it Beth and Will are getting busy on high rise window sill. This story has taboo sexy fun and mild angst against a rainy city backdrop. Jealous daughter, coworkers, snoopy boardmembers, poaching business competitors all conspire to throw their new relationship off track. Wish characters had a little more depth to them. But otherwise a good quick read.

Knocked Up by the Silver Fox is an easy, fast-paced read that definitely has all the drama you’d expect from a soap opera. The characters are thrown into one intense situation after another, and while the book does have moments of intrigue, the pacing felt rushed, and the plot didn’t have the depth I was hoping for. There were a lot of sudden shifts—especially when it came to the romance and sex scenes, which seemed to happen out of nowhere without much buildup.
While it wasn’t my favorite read, if you enjoy drama-filled, quick reads with a lot of twists and turns, this might be the book for you.

Elizabeth Reid is the newest senior analyst at Caldwell Investments and the youngest analyst from the veterans analysts. She was an internal hire. Beth didn't applied for the job they sought her. They spotted her unique eye and knack for forecasting and critical data analysis and knew she would be a great fit. She came into the company as an intern straight out of college where she worked for a full year without getting paid and in the end it benefitted her. For the following nine months she then worked one-one with the other entry level analysts to make sure things were checked and double-checked, and after saving the company almost three million dollars on a potential bad investment here she was with a seat at the table. On her first day as senior analyst she spoke up in a meeting on acquisition that the firm was trying to acquire and the CEO agreed with her assessment then told her to see him in his office and that she should grab her things. She didn't understand what she had done to being called to his office since he had agreed with her. She hadn't meant to upset anyone but she had definitely made some enemies on her first day because Kevin the veteran analysts who she had told about this matter was upset.
He was shocked that she had spoken up during the meeting and thought that she had cajones. There wasn't a single analyst in that group who would stand up to others and she had done it on her first day. She doesn't know that he had seen her findings that she had sent to Kevin on the reports and doesn't understand why he didn't take her advice. He tells her that he was interested in her work and was so interested in having her eyes looking over the most important projects that they were undertaking and he wanted her to report directly to him. She would have her own team of a few newer analysts to report to her, but he wanted her findings and research to come directly to his eyes. William Caldwell is the CEO and owner of Caldwell Investments, a widower and single dad to eighteen year old Abby. He's a handsome eligible billionaire and was dub as Wall Street Silver Fox. From the first time he saw her in the interview, he was attracted to her intellect and her body. Will wife had died many years ago and Beth has been the first one that he had been attracted to that made him wanted to start dating again. They chemistry is electrifying and magnetic. Beth received a very disheartening email from work at the end of her first week. It stated that they know that she slept her way to the top to get her promotion. She was thriving in her new position and her attraction between her on her boss was heating up.
One night after working late Will offered to walk her to the train station and before she leaves he tells her that he found her really attractive then the two kissed in the rain. The relationship would soon turn costly for them, with he twin sister always being negative with her advice, a bratty teenager who's still grieving the loss of her mother, office gossip about their relationship, scandal, the company's biggest rival trying to do a hostile takeover, shareholders looking for a scapegoat for company espionage and a secret pregnancy the deck is not stock in their favor. Will had talked up Beth so much that his snake of a nemesis Nevil Banks is trying to steal her for himself. It would take everything that they have in order to survive with enemies and problems all around them. Beth is Will second chance at love and even if it meant losing the company that he had created in order to save their relationship he was willing to do it because he loved her. The two will have to fight hard for their love and Beth must first win over his daughter Abby. This was such a great story with heartache, revenge, retaliation, revelations, power play, betrayal, enemies, anger, angst, fear, guilt, sabotage, loyalty, hatred, jealousy, hurt and pain, determination and love.

Unfortunately, William didn’t realise his decision would not only ruffle feathers amongst the staff, but also place a target on her back.
William and Beth tried everything possible not to act on their attraction for each other, but their willpower could stand up the intense sparks between them, which finally exploded into secret trysts. Great story.
Beth & Will's love story is a second chance at love for him but also a forbidden love because he's her boss & was drawn in from the start.
Although she had worked a long time at his company the first time they met in person was when she attending a meeting following her promotion & it was love at first sight.
Will was so impressed with her hard work & how amazingly good she was at her job & an asset to his company that during a function at hus daughter Abby's school he at was singing her praise to everyone.
However this had an adverse effect that saw both their lifes spiralling out of control & the prospect of losing everything he held dearly.
After his wife had died he thought he'd never find love again but then he met Beth & they fell for each other instantly & working together thatbond only grew stronger.
Before they could get a chance of a happy ever after they had his daughter who saw her saw Beth as a gold digger refusing to have anything to do with her putting Will in a difficult situation between his daughter & the womsn he loved. There was secrets, lies, betrayal, loyalty, the possible loss of his company & Beth's reputation, the thought of painful sacrifices & and unexpected baby.
Definitely recommend this book but a warning to have tissues on hand as it had me tearing up a few times.

The book follows them as they navigate their new relationship, and the emotions involved.
While this story might be the HR department’s worst nightmare, it is a great story to read. And oh, my GAWD, the cover! Yes, please, I’ll take one of those. Yummy. The author has done an excellent job of creating an interesting plot and characters, and excellent world building. The book is an intense and steamy, suspense romance with twists The ending is very satisfying. Definitely worth your time!.

When Beth is a Junior analysis she openly expresses a problem and a solution at a meeting getting the attention of the CEO who Beth didn’t know was there. William is impressed with her beer at ions and her courage in speaking out against her superiors. He immediately offers her a position as senior analyst and gives her the office right outside of his. Unfortunately that office was used by his secretary and she isn’t pleased with being forced out. Will and Beth work closely on some major accounts and he brags about her work at his daughter Abby’s school function where he networks with the other affluent parents hoping to gain their finance accounts. Falling for each other creates a domino effect of problems not only in the company but with Abby as well. Rumors, fear, and loyalty cause many questions and unnecessary hurt but when an unexpected pregnancy is thrown in these two have to work hard to find their hea.

Finding love with a younger woman who was amazing at her job.
So much controversy and turmoil because a brilliant, sexy young woman who excelled in school and brought her gift of numbers to her job. Beth had been working on the numbers for an acquisition the company was buying but her supervisor wanted to use a lower bid. Will was the CEO that saw the potential in her work and her ability to make them money decided to move her to his team. As soon as she was moved, she started getting nasty emails. Will was very attractive to Beth and they tried to separate their personal life from work life. But the ran into so many obstacles, Will’s daughter was jealous and spreader a rumor on social media. Will bragging about how good Beth was at her job and one of his rivals was trying to steal her. Beth sister thought Will was using her and his secretary was given out Company information that Beth got blamed for by the board. But she was upfront with Will and he almost lost his company. A baby can bring a family together. Beautiful love story.

Will is the CEO of his own investment company. He is always out hustling to get clients, including his daughter’s private school event. Widowed single dad, he put off dating since his wife passed away. Now his daughter is about to go to college, life can be very different for him. He finds the turning point of his life in Beth. Beth works for Will’s company as an intern fresh out of college. She can’t believe she is promoted after a year of hard work. Working side by side with Will, they fall in love. But people around them are harsh to Beth, the board, his friend, even his daughter are against their relationship. Only their love holds them together in a thin thread. I give Will credit for recognizing Beth’s talent and strength. But he doesn’t do enough to take care of Beth. This story touches many tough issues, like grief of losing mother or wife, age gap, dating later in life, single parent. A good story overall.

Oh dear, Beth and William were definitely playing with fire. I felt William should have known better and Beth came across a little immature and easily swayed by him despite her having doubts.
They had a messy relationship trying to keep both work and private lives happy, and it looked as though Beth was going to end up being the scapegoat.
They didn’t seem to have anyone in their corner and I felt for Beth especially as her twin sister tried to instil some common sense and say what everyone would be thinking. William went through the mill with his teenage daughter and tried his best to be fair to her.
The story reached a HEA and the epilogue brought a tear to my eye, it was definitely an emotional read.

Beth is at her first meeting as junior analyst and jumps in with her thoughts not knowing that the CEO was in attendance until he agreed with her. William is impressed by her and offers her a promotion to senior analyst, and she will be working close to him. The office he gives her was his secretary's and she was made to move to make room for Beth. This started rumors getting spread around about them. Its not long that things grow between them as they continue to work so closely. Will this turn into more between them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Life is not a smooth sailing adventure. It comes with thunderstorms. What you do with this reality is totally up to you. Will may meet the criteria of a silver fox but he is still fairly young. Beth is ready to hit the ground running and begin her career. Can one person have everything? How do you make it happen? A great story that had me flying high when things were good and sulking when life started to mess with the dream. Abby was a brat
Sarah was ridiculous and will knew that she was going to be a problem because she had become spoiled. But all that over an office.... I wonder if there are people out in the world really like that.. You would ruin a company over an office... That is extremely petty!!!
Rachel was not a good sister and her character was not good!
I cannot say any character in this book was my favorite other than Beth.
So much drama and not enough violence!
It ended well and the baby was good.

This was an easy read for the boss William and star employee Elizabeth. William had been eyeing Beth’s work from afar, but when she came to an important meeting and excelled in getting a new client, he knew that she deserved a promotion. Unfortunately the staff was feeling out of sorts and was not happy with Beth’s star performance. Beth and Will also did not fight their attraction, which caused more trouble at the office. like the premise but the sister
I liked the interaction with the main characters and I liked the premise but the Beth’s sister pissed me off. I don’t know how she managed to go that long without telling her off. She was so judgmental and even condescending. At one point she basically told Beth she only got the job because she was sleeping with the boss or the boss wanted to sleep with her but yet Beth acted like her sister and her were really close. A really close sister would’ve cautioned her about the relationship rather than saying you didn’t deserve the job.

This story captured me from the first page that's about Beth who gets famous from being caught having an office affair with her boss, William a billionaire of Caldwell Investments. This is a very good older man, younger female romance story with engaging characters. Beth and William gave us the steam and the edge of the seat drama that unfolded as I'd read this enjoyable copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.

The MCs didn’t really seem to put much work resisting each other, but they were both very likable and their relationship very natural and passionate. The side characters were blah though. Considering the FMC has a twin sister, she wasn’t very supportive and such a Debbie downer. What about twin intuition? Where was that? And for an 18-year old, the daughter was really immature until towards the end. There was a nice HEA though!
