Loved this!!
I loved this story of Brody and Sophia!! She gets hired as a marketing executive for the hockey team he is the captain of. They don't get along at first and fight all the time. But the attraction is there. Sophia wants to do a social media campaign about his kids hickey program and Brody wants to keep it private. Brody and Sophia end up being the center of a media circus. Brody decides to tell his personal story to help Sophia out. I love these two together. This is my first C.H. James story and I am hooked! Definitely a fan! I love thus book and highly recommend! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Bon sang.
C'était vraiment pas une lecture plaisante. La traduction française n'est pas vraiment bonne et après a peine quelques pages j'étais déjà septique sur certain trait physique qui ne correspondent pas du tout au héros sur la couverture et les interactions entre les personnages sont à peine bien construite.
Une bonne perte de temps honnêtement j'ai lu 50% très sérieusement avant de vraiment survolé et punaise c'était pire après.
C'était vraiment pas une lecture plaisante. Ein Buch mit zwei starken Protagonisten die nicht klein bei geben und schlagfertig sind. Es enthält eine wechselnde Erzählperspektive beider Protagonisten und einen leichten Schreibstil.
Sophia versucht als Frau in einem Männer dominierten Beruf ihren Weg zu gehen und sich durchsetzen.
Sie trägt meist eine kühle Maske, doch dahinter ist sie liebevoll, freundlich und mitfühlend.
Ihre größte Herausforderung ist Blake der Kapitän der Mannschaft der sich ihrer Ideen immer in den Weg stellt.
Blake ist ein typisches Alphatier und zeigt sich kühl, herablassend und autoritär.
Er sieht seine Stadt und sein Team als sein Revier wo er das Sagen hat und mag keine Veränderung, weswegen er anfangs gegen Sophia kämpft.
Beide fühlen sich von der ersten Begegnung zueinander hingezogen und versuchen krampfhaft sich dagegen zu wehren. Doch ihre Anziehung siegt und sie kommen sich immer näher.
Durch ein Scherz der schief geht, verändert sich der Grund wieso Sophia vom Vorstand zur Hilfe gerufen wurde und die abwärtsspirale für sie beginnt.
Zwischen dem Kampf stark zu bleiben und sich durchsetzen zu müssen, zu ihrer aufkommenden Beziehung mit Blake gibt es amüsante Plots, viele Zankereihen zeichen Sophia und Blake und spicy Szenen.
Leider liest sich alles etwas kühl und zäh und abgesehen von einigen wenigen Szenen fehlte es an Emotionen und Gefühlen.
