Some scars are meant to stay hidden. Some monsters are meant to love. Some Queens are meant to rule.
They whisper about Don Fera in dark corners— The man who turns violence into art. The monster who makes mercy bleed. But I've seen him kneel. Seen him beg.
A collar for a crown. A kingdom earned in blood. A love story written in scars. Perfectly imperfect, we had it all.
Until bullets shatter our fairy tale, forcing us from the shadows. Now everyone I'm not just a Don's arm candy. I'm his Queen. His match. His salvation.
With a rival family out for blood and a past that won't stay buried, I have to The safe life I left behind... Or the beautiful darkness that comes with loving a Don.
But there's something they don't know about me. Something my own family tried to burn away. Queens don't run from war. We declare it.
The explosive final book in the Queens & Knights series brings danger, devotion, and delicious darkness. This conclusion of Dante and Danica's spicy love story features morally grey characters, graphic violence, polyamory, and strong power exchange themes (see the author’s website for the full TW list). Reading the series in order is recommended. HEA guaranteed.
M Kay Noir is a romance author and journalist obsessed with moments of desire.
Most of Kay's stories are dark(ish), kinky, queer-friendly, polyamorous undertakings with neurotic characters who are often their own worst enemies. If you expect any regard for traditional gender roles or power dynamics, you will be disappointed.
"I like my female characters dominant... ...And my MMCs on their knees."
Born and bred in South Africa, Kay has been penning steamy moments for more than 15 years now, from fanfics to ghostwriting and now, finally, her own stories. Her day job also involves a lot of writing, albeit a different kind—mostly sustainability things.
When she’s not writing (or reading), she enjoys making her husband look at yet another sunset or going to a live music show.
Kaaaaaaay this was seriously the most beautiful ending for Dante, Danica , and Alessio 😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹🖤🖤🖤
After all the struggles and pain Danica and Dante have gone through, after finding a dynamic full of love and care with Alessio their life almost feels perfect. Dante and Danica are finally having their wedding, finally showing the other families what their love truly is. What they didn't plan for was an ambush on their big day, with Alessio trying to protect Danica it leaves Dante in an unfortunate position and he gets injured which leaves him in pain for weeks after so he feels like less of the powerful Don that he should be.
Throughout the whole story Danica does everything she can to prove to Dante and the other Dons that she is La Donna Fera and deserves to be respected, she's fought her way through abuse at the hands of her brothers to all the shit the cruel world has handed her. Watching her step up to not just protect herself, but to protect Dante was so beautiful and heart warming, she truly takes her job as his wife, his love, and his domme so seriously through the whole series but especially this story!
And I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our baby Alessio through all the hard ships of him and Dantes' families hating each other, and then having to run away from their love. After they reunited in the last book all I wanted was them to be truly in love, Danica saw the love they had for each other and fell in love with Alessio just as much! Alessio after the ambush does all he can to plan the most beautiful wedding for Danica and Dante as all he wants is for his two loves to have everything they deserve.
I just never want their story to end I wish the books could go on forever haha, but I'm truly so happy they have their happy ending they all deserve 🥹🖤
💛 Mafia romance 💛 Power exchange 💛 Touch her and 💀 💛 Age gap 💛 Polyam
Kay’s Queens & Knights series is back baby, and this time, it’s bringing bullets, betrayals, and a whole lot of heat. Danica’s wedding isn’t your typical “something borrowed, something blue” situation, it’s more like something explosive, something lethal. Because when you’re a mafia princess, you don’t just say “I do”…….you also make sure you don’t get whacked at the altar.
This book is a wild ride, think The Godfather meets Bridgerton, but with extra spice and significantly fewer polite tea parties. Kay manages to blend high stakes action with scorching romance, and watching Danica go from suburban sweetheart to full-blown Queen is chef’s kiss perfection. And let’s talk about Dante and Alessio….their dynamic with Danica is complicated, captivating, and hot enough to melt your Kindle.
The wedding ambush? Just the opening act. From there, it’s a whirlwind of secrets, betrayals, and steamy moments that will have you fanning yourself and checking over your shoulder. Basically, once you start, you’re in for the long haul. So cancel your plans, get comfy, and prepare to be completely obsessed.
One thing’s for sure though, this one doesn’t just grab you by the throat, it owns you. And honestly? You won’t even mind.
This devilishly spicy dark romance was everything I needed to get through the remnants of the cold winter storms. I have never been a huge fem domme fan, but there is something about the way M Kay Noir writes that you cannot help but fall deeper into tale. The scene begins with a beautiful wedding and ends with violence and blood. A thirst for revenge and secrets become unraveled. There is so much suspense and intrigue that you cannot help but be hooked and on the edge of your seat. Alessio, Dante and Danica form such a wonderful trio, I would never spoil anything but it was absolutely sinful the scenes between the three of them. I have truly come to enjoy Noir's writing style. While I do find Danica's character to be quite young at times I appreciate how she came into her own and took the power she rightfully deserved. Overall and exceptional book with an explosive ending and I'm so grateful to have been able to devour this story.
I absolutely LOVED this book series!!!! I know their story is done but I would love more stories for other characters. A story for Adira and Rani or even the other families would be amazing!!!!!
I love Danica truly live her. She was my first femdom ever and it seemed to search for more. The wedding right from the start she wasn't having any shit at all. She leashed those men and I couldn't have been more pleased with how it all ended. They deserved a happy ending. This whole series was amazing.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series thus far. The compelling underlying story, the complex dynamics involving the mafia, and the rich drama that unfolds throughout each installment have captivated me. What I appreciate most is how the author weaves in the theme of the BDSM lifestyle without resorting to stereotypes. Too often, people mistakenly believe that those who appear strong, such as a Mafia Don cannot also find fulfillment in submission. This series challenges that notion and provides a nuanced exploration of power exchange, showcasing the emotional depth and intricacies of these relationships.
This is beautifully written, the characters have a depth to them that draws you in. This book has it all, spice galore, mayhem, love, found family, healing and a touch of redemption.
I liked that this book took us on a journey of self actualization for Dante and Danica. She stepped in to her power as a true partner in Dante’s organization. And he finally learned to let it go. Alessio was there, he’s a character, yes, but almost like more of a plot device than a fully realized character. He comes and goes and makes fun things happen. Alessio helps to demonstrate what different relationships can look like.
There were some hot scenes of course. The wedding reception and honeymoon chief among them.
If you want a plot about a strong FMC and a devoted and obedient, yet strong alpha male... These books are yours! Femdom at its best. It's so damn kinky and spicy you can light your candles with it! The whole series is a must read!!!
We spend some more time with Danica , Dante and Alessio ... these books are amazing :) such a tasteful discription of the relationship dynamics between the 3 of them ... sooo much well developed kink and spice :)
Madame Danica is book 4 in the Queens & Knights and wraps up Danica and Dante’s story. I liked the evolution of these characters and the overall series arc. These were enjoyable semi dark mafia books with intriguing side characters as well. There is another book I am jumping into next that is Dante’s brother Luca’s story… This should be interesting; he was such a polarizing character!
