Another HEA for a Miami Manatee! Scarlett and Aiden's love story has some great romance tropes: he falls first, cinnamon roll MMC, and forbidden love (coach's daughter).
It did take a few chapters before I really got hooked, but Aven just keeps releasing all the feel good romances.
This story is parallel to Georgie and Becks, and we got a little peek at Scarlett and Aiden in Miami Ice.
My only complaint is the story ended immediately after Scarlett's mom and dad apologize and accept their relationship. I wish we could have gotten a bit more story with the relationship hard launch. It's a pretty big plot point that Scarlett had been struggling make friends in Miami as a post-grad, and she talks about her concern and guilt for lying to her new friends about dating Aiden, but we don't get to see any resolution for that. Also, I would have loved to seen her open her photography business, too. Or at least a little glimpse of either of those in the proposal scene. I hope Aven includes some of these details in the next Miami Sports book!

Received a ARC but review is ultimately my own opinion. Misconduct in Miami is the perfect blend of sports romance, secrecy, and heartfelt character growth. From the very first chapter, the chemistry between assistant hockey captain Aiden and Scarlet (the coach’s daughter) is undeniable, but it’s their sweet, slow-building connection that truly makes this story shine. What makes this book especially adorable is how naturally their relationship evolves. It’s not just about stolen kisses and secret meetings, it’s about two people genuinely building a life together. You feel their support for one another, their growth, and the way they become each other’s safe place. By the end, you’re not just rooting for them, you feel like you’ve watched them grow into a forever kind of love.
I am loving the Miami series - especially the hockey books! Scarlett has a coach for a dad and over protective brothers which makes dating nearly impossible. Throw in the fat that she’s into one of her dad’s players and it is a recipe for disaster. The relationship was definitely insta love which was a little off putting BUT Aidan is such a good guy and it was so nice to see Georgie and Becks from the last book.
After reading the first two books in the Miami series, I was really looking forward to Scarlett and Aiden’s story. The coach’s daughter trope is one of my favorite to read in sports romances. Aven has scored yet another goal with this book. Aiden is such a lovable MMC and his hard to not fall in love with him. Love seeing a crossover with some of the other characters like Beckham and Georgie and can’t wait for the next book in the series. 5/5 stars
We’re back in the Miami sports world and hockey with Misconduct in Miami. This time we follow Aiden, the team captain, and Scarlett, the coach’s daughter. I loved the fast-paced nature of Scarlett and Aiden’s story plus the drama from her dad and brothers! It was great to run into familiar characters like Becks and Georgie too. If you’re a fan of Aven’s books this is definitely a must read!
Loved it!!! absolutely love Scarlett and Aiden! This whole book was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I couldn't get enough of this couple!! I absolutely loved it!!! Avens books just bring so much joy!
