Pucking Pregnant #4

Pucking With My Head

Rate this book
They were my student’s single dads, and now I’m their pregnant Omega…

My life was complicated enough with family expectations and boundaries I couldn’t cross. I didn’t need more on my plate, but I couldn’t resist.

The only plan was to help their daughter learn to skate and give them a helping hand with an extra nanny gig, filling my time with people who made me happy. Nothing else was supposed to happen. We all made that very clear.

But biology had other ideas…

My heat came, and with no way to stop it, I pulled in the three Alphas I had been pushing away, all desire to keep our lives strictly professional thrown out the window. That should have been the end of it, us going our separate ways, but life wasn’t done with the surprises just yet.

With a baby on the way, a double dose of family drama, one excited little girl, and four parents trying to get life to stop pucking with our heads… things certainly weren’t easy, but I had to hope it was worth fighting for.

Pucking with my Head is the fourth book in the Pucking Pregnant series and is in the same universe as the Pucking Alphas series. Although each book is a standalone, they should be read in order.

These books are magic if you’re in a reading slump because they’re so cosy that you fly through them. I’ve mentioned it before in other reviews, but even though pregnancy is not my favourite trope, I am loving this series. The way Bethany fell in love with Joey and then Cullen, Gideon and Jensen as well, made me so warm inside. Melissa Huxley has a way of describing love that makes you feel it, and it’s beautiful. There were challenges and issues, but love prevails and it was wonderful.

This was easy enough to read but I kept getting stuck on Cullen. He was such a tool sometimes and honestly some of his actions were just straight up bizarre to me. Even when he tried to fix things later, I just couldn't shake off how annoying he was for most of it.

Overall this book just didn't really stick with me. It's not bad but there wasn't anything super memorable that made it stand out. If you're looking for something light and don't mind one of the MCs being a bit of a tool sometimes, you might dig it. But for me it was just meh.

I have been a huge fan of Mellissa Huxley since the first book of hers I read and I know that is never going to change!

Another amazing Omegaverse book in this series was exactly what I needed right now and I loved every second of it! You combine single dads and omegaverse together and you have the recipe for my idea of a perfect book!

This was such a great read and I finished it in one sitting! 😍

Melissa Huxley is one of those authors that you know when you pick up her book you are in for a good read. Her books are addictive, with characters that just interlock with each other. This story does not jump straight in, but builds are characters and their connection to each other, their relationship is not rushed but a natural progression.

Melissa brings us a strong female omega who is caring and independent and is determined to stand on her own two feet no matter the hardships.

Beth is taking time for herself away from her family of her fathers and brothers who all have a very strong opinion of what her role should be and what she should be doing. Her family do not provide her with the support that any omega in her situation would expect. Is an omega’s place really just for cooking and cleaning and picking up after the male members of the family. Beth is a strong independent omega who is living her life how she wants and doing what she wants to, going to university to make a life and career for herself. Not only is she studying but Beth is supporting herself by doing what she loves and teaching kids to skate whilst working in a cafe.

It is during her skating that Beth forms a connection is Joey who is the most adorable child ever, and she brings that light heartiness to the story. Joey is supported by her three hot alpha dads, a layer, doctor and finally an owner/ chef of a restaurant. These men from the off set adore their daughter and will do everything to ensure she is happy. Beth has been teaching Joey for a while now and she is attracted to the three dads and vice versa but no-one has ever acted on those lingering feelings.

All it takes is one night for these three men to be needed at work for them to make a call to Beth asking for her help at looking after Joey, Beth doesnt need to think about this offer as she adores Joey. One night of looking after Joey turns into more with a bond growing between the two of them cementing Beth in this family. As the days roll on the attraction between Beth and Gideon, Cullen and Jensen grow and you are just waiting for the time when they give in to their feelings and then all it takes is an unexpected heat to push them into the unknown and to look beyond what they had at the start.

Can the unexpected turn into more, when its not just simply them and her but to factor in Joey. Then for Beth there is the added dilemma of her family.

This is a must read for ov lovers.

One migraine leads to many realizations

Beth is an Omega who is working and going to college with no help from her family. They refused to help when she left Nebraska and are always trying to make her come back home.  Beth works at a Cafe in campus and teaches kids to ice skate which she loves doing. Her favorite student is a little girl named Joey. It doesn't hurt that her Dads are hot.

So when the Dads call in a panic needing a babysitter she is happy to help. This one night of baby sitting is posed to change her life in so many unexpected ways.

I absolutely love the characters in this book. Each of the men is unique and brings something special to the pack. While Beth is young she really understands Joey since she too grew up without her mother. The difference though is that Joey has her Dad's and they make everything better.

When Beth ends up pregnant they have to decide what is best for everyone involved and determin what they do next. They certainly don't want a repeat of what happened with Joey's mother but they can't deny how different the two women are. It certainly isn't an easy road and there are plenty bof obstacles along the way.

I really loved this story. It was so cute and there was just that little bit of tension before finally giving in to each other, which I loved. This was my favourite in this series so far!

I also loved that there was no OW drama, but there was definitely some drama, and I think it resolved quite nicely. The pack was so sweet with the FMC.

This is a standalone but for a better reading experience I would suggest reading “Surprise Motherpucker” (the previous book in the series) before reading this one of o get a bit more of the back story.

3.5 - ⭐⭐⭐ 💫

Pucking With My Head is the fourth instalment in the adult why choose hockey omegaverse romance series, Pucking Pregnant. Each book in an interconnected standalone so while they are set in the same world they each follow a separate pack. Written in multi first person POV, the story follows Bethany, a skating coach who takes on a small nanny gig for one of her students. It was meant to be something easy...until her heat comes and all three alphas to the adorable little girl she coaches/nannies decide to help her though it. When Bethany discovers she is pregnant she quickly realizes things will never be the same but maybe the drama will change her life for the better if she lets them in...if she sees this pack is worth fighting for.

If you are looking for a fast paced fluffy omegaverse romance with a touch of drama this book will be a fun time!

Bethany is determined to try to stand on her own two feet thanks to the treatment she receives at the hands of her brothers and fathers and she has to work through those feelings. Cullen, Gideon and Jensen are nothing like her family (though one of them does put his foot in his mouth quite a few times) and it takes her time to accept the support. I found their dynamic worked well as they saw this as a journey together. The addition of Joey added a stronger element of family because of how much care they had in thinking of her throughout this story.

This book is 5 spicy peppers out of 5 spicy peppers. There are six spicy scenes with the first appearing around the 34% mark. The spice is detailed and explicit with heat scenes, knotting, slick, and multi partner situations. They all help Bethany find her pleasure here. I felt the spice was well written and worked for this story.

The story itself was a smooth read. You have Bethany working through her relationship with her family who are horrible to her and expect her to take care of them and clean up after them every time she returns home. You have the pack navigating a new romance with Bethany and what that means for their lives and balancing what that means for Joey, their adorable daughter. I like how we got intimate and sweet family scenes while also still getting the fun spicy romance of a newfound pack. I felt Bethany's family story felt a little unfinished at the end but the ending itself is sweet with a HEA you definitely wanted from this.

Overall this is cute, spicy, and fluffy! It delivered exactly what I wanted.

This was read on Kindle Unlimited.

I love a story with a single dad being absolutely amazing to their daughter. Multiply those dads by three and my heart just about explodes. I love an omegaverse where you find big tough alphas being the most wonderful dads to a sweet little girl. Add to all of that a sweet omega who has worked hard to be where she is and had to deal with a family that I really have no words to describe, and you have a story that I really just wanted to keep reading. I have read many omegaverses by this author and I really get hooked by them. Even though this is called Pucking With My Head and there is some mention of hockey, there is very little hockey in the story compared to the other stories by this author. This one is more about what constitues a family. This is the fourth book in the Pucking Pregnant series, which of course all involve some pregnancy, so if that isn’t your thing, you may not want to read this. I personally love a pregnancy story, so I was a big fan.

I think a pack of older alphas raising their seven year old daughter has to be one of the sweetest things. Each of the alphas can be grumpy (some more than others) but they are three of the sweetest, most caring alphas. They are all different and have occupations that really come in handy, with one being a lawyer, one a doctor, and one the owner of a restaurant. Their daughter, Joey is adorable and sweet. Bethany is a younger omega that is paying her own way through college because her family told her that they would only pay if she attended near home. But she knew she needed some space and some freedom. So she is teaching skating lesson on top of working in a coffee shop. The connection between Bethany and Joey is so perfect. I loved how protective Bethany was of her.

This was another great omegaverse by this author. Because I love a good pregnancy story, this one was right up my alley. But I also thought it was absolutely perfect to include the found family aspect and how sometimes you have to choose yourself. Of course there was plenty of spicy good times. There always is when you through a surprise heat that occurs. I am a big fan of this series and would recommend it to anyone looking for an omegaverse with a surprise pregnancy trope and an age gap between a college aged skaqting teacher and three big, sexy alphas.

Oh my, Melissa has done it again with another amazing story.

We have our amazing fmc, Bethany/ Beth. She is kind, caring, happy, and you can't help but love her instantly. She's been through a lot, and to kind of escape her "prison," she moved across the state to attend a university and get that freedom that she rightfully deserves and craves. You may recognise Beth as she is besties with Kennedy.

Our mmc's are Gideon, Jensen, and Cullen. These 3 alpha's makeup, Pack Noble. Gideon is a lawyer and likes things a certain way. Jensen is a doctor and he's such a big, goofy, softy, I think he's my favourite. Finally, we have Cullen. Look, I really liked him, but he was definitely the grumpiest, and some of his choice of words towards Beth wasn't necessary.

The plot was so good! Beth is enjoying her life at uni, teaching kids to skate as well as working at a coffee shop but is still struggling a little with money. All that changes when Pack Noble asks her to look after their daughter Joey (she is the best, by the way and coaches Joey skating), Beth accepts, and things get complicated quickly when the alpha's realise they have feelings for Beth. Mind you, they have all had these feelings for a while but they are a little older than Beth and believe that Beth deserves a younger Pack to dote on her (even though they aren't particularly happy with that thought). Beth and the alpha's do grow closer, and i loved how the relationships were natural until Beth's heat hits unexpectedly, and then it gets very interesting...

There is a lot of drama with Beth's family. Her family are still treating Beth so poorly, and Beth realises that she has to step away from them. Little does she realise that her family is willing to reach new lows to control her.

I loved this, and I highly recommend reading it.

Thank you so much, Melissa and your amazing team, for the opportunity to read this story. I am extremely blessed to be a part of your ARC team 🙏

I feel like with each book I read of Melissa Huxley's, her writing gets more and more engaging. I have always liked her books and enjoyed them but her characters continued to get more unique and nuanced and I have just been loving them more and more.

Just like with the others in this series the pregnancy is a huge part of the plot and not saved until the epilogue. Beth is a struggling ice skating instructor that we met in Kennedy's story when Kennedy needed legal help and Beth knew just the Alpha to call. Gideon, Jenson, and Cullen are older and the fathers to her favorite student, Joey, who is the absolute best. These men love their daughter and even though they are all attracted to Beth they don't want to do anything that might negatively affect Joey since she loves her teacher... plus Beth is much younger than them.

I am not usually a huge fan of age gap romances because so much focus is always placed on the age difference, but I really liked the way that Melissa Huxley wrote this one. They are all definitely concerned about the difference but once they are getting to know each other more and becoming friends it's more of a joke between them that is sweet. This was also such a mild way to do miscommunication - nobody was heart broken and thought the worst of anyone else, but people were left unsure. Confused where things were and if things were. I liked it. And I loved that Joey was never just a plot point to move Beth's story forward.

As someone who suffers from migraines and who doesn't want kids this book did unlock a new fear for me and force me to look into side effects of my newest medication. Lol!

I do continue to be frustrated with the lack of betas and MM relationships in this series though. Otherwise, so great. Read it in one day.

A decent-ish Omegaverse book. One that the plot (and I use the term plot loosely here) heavily revolves around the FMC omega of the story becoming pregnant. So if you're not a fan of surprise pregnancies, then this is not the book for you. It's got kind of the same cut and paste story line as most other Omegaverse stories do. The first 25% of the book is dedicated to the back and forth and creating sexual tension, then there's the heat (which is really the ONLY place that there's spice in this book), and the remainder of the book is dealing with the pregnancy, the drama that the FMC has with some friend or old pack or family, the birth, and then things wrap up and the reader sees the HEA they've been hoping for. In the case of drama for this book - it revolves around the Omega's shitty family. Obviously, they get their comeuppance in the end. Now, I'm not reading Omegaverse books because I came to read an epic love story and all about pregnancy or some great work of literary accomplishment. I come for the smut and the spice. This book definitely didn't deliver when it comes to the spice. The author does gift us a very detailed heat and a couple of random sex scenes, but a lot of the spice is implied and not detailed. Which is super disappointing if you ask me. Really knocked this one down the rating scale. I liked the fact that the MMC's are single dads who are honestly crushing it and the FMC accepts their little girl as her own, but it didn't turn things all the way around. And in terms of poly-amorous groups, FMMM is kind of the most boring. No sword crossing for the readers in this one. I suppose it wasn't a total waste of time, but it for sure isn't the best Omegaverse story out there to represent the genre.

Melissa does it again with another fun Pregnancy OmegaVerse book, this time with a fun take on the 'nanny who becomes more' storyline, with a jumbo sized serving of family drama(which is saying something considering some of the other entries in this series) to really make things take twists and turns.

I loved the whole main cast, and the pacing of the story felt like it fit perfect with how the different relationships grew.
One of the things that really stood out for me with this one was that the power imbalance between 'employer/employee' was treated as truly important (instead of being hand-waved as ive read in some books) once the characters decide to pursue a relationship. Instead, it poses real roadblocks, and forces conversations between the characters about what they want and what they see for the future.

The family drama in this book was pretty intense, with both the FMC and the Pack having their own issues that rear their ugly faces throughout the story, and really gives insight (Particularly our heroine's) into events that have shaped them into the characters we meet as we begin this book, and decisions and concerns that they have to work through as it progresses.

It goes with out saying (but ill say it anyways), and should surprise noone that's read other books by Melissa, that the spice was as excellent as the plot of the story.

Once again I'm left waiting for the next book from Melissa, and impatiently at that.

Pucking With My Head follows Bethany's story in the Pucking Pregnant series by Melissa Huxley. These are interconnected standalones so while you can read them as such, I do recommend you read from the beginning for the overall experience as some characters may overlap. Now that being said....

I was excited to finally read Bethany's story after Surprise! Mother Pucker where we got snippets of her thanks to being besties with the main character. Bethany, or Beth, is an omega who teaches ice skating as well as works at a coffee shop to afford University. One child she teaches ice skating to is a little girl named Joey. She is just the cutest! She is also the little girl to a pack of single dads: Gideon, Jensen, and Cullen. Now, the guys and Beth all have crushes on each other, but with Beth being their child's skating instructor, and eventually their nanny, things can't exactly progress. Well, let's just say things heat up once an unexpected heat happens for Bethany.

One thing leads to another, and she ends up pregnant. Bethany now has to deal with an unexpected pregnancy, her family's toxicity, and figuring things out with guys and little Joey. This journey is one that will have you swooning and laughing as she builds a relationship with the guys and Joey as well as near tears at how Beth has been treated by her family. I loved reading Bethany's journey and can't wait for the next journey to be had in this series!

Okay, hear me out—what starts as a simple nanny job with a side of figure skating lessons turns into a swoony, spicy, chaos-filled Omega fairytale... with three dads. 😏🔥

Our girl signs up for a low-drama gig: help a sweet little girl skate, keep the peace with her own overbearing family, and avoid doing anything that might end up in scandal. Spoiler alert: that does not go to plan.

Suddenly, there’s an unexpected biological curveball, a heat that can’t be ignored, and three irresistible Alphas who go from off-limits to absolutely necessary. One wild, passion-fueled moment changes everything—and oops... did someone say baby? 😅👶

Add in a feisty kiddo, loads of emotional whiplash, family drama times ten, and four adults trying to figure out how to adult together—it’s messy, heartwarming, hilarious, and seriously steamy. Think: found family, reverse harem, and hockey dad spice all wrapped up in one unputdownable package.

If you love omegaverse romance with heat (literally), heart, and hilarity, this one’s going to live rent-free in your head. And let’s be real—this series keeps getting better. 💕🏒🔥

Read if you love:
💖 Reverse harem with actual emotional depth
👨‍👧 Hot dads who are soft for their kid and even softer for their Omega
😂 Drama that feels like a soap opera, but make it spicy
🐺 Omegaverse tropes turned up to 11

You’ll laugh, you’ll swoon, you’ll definitely blush. 10/10 would get “pucked” again. 💋

Beth has been working her way through school with multiple jobs, but the one she enjoys most is teaching ice skating lessons to children. And her favorite student is Joey, who reminds her of a young version of herself. Joey has 3 dads who are everything Beth has ever wanted. They are gorgeous, sexy, and treat Joey like Beth wishes her dads treated her. When Joey's dads ask Beth to be their part-time nanny, she jumps at the chance to earn better money and spend more time with her favorite little girl. When Beth's heat hits unexpectedly, the dads "help" her out, and she ends up pregnant. Surprise! And that's only the beginning.

I enjoy Melissa Huxley’s Pucking Pregnant Omegaverse, but to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to Beth's book. She has always seemed like a side character to me in the other books, not a main character. I. Was. Wrong. I loved this story. I adored the relationship between Beth and Joey even before the single dads got involved. Her chemistry with the men was sizzling, and their protective streaks over their girls were endearing. Beth's bio-family added another layer to her story, albeit infuriating. She had such character growth, finding her footing as a mom and her backbone with her birth family. Each of these books builds on the previous; Melissa has created a wonderfully entertaining world, and I hope she keeps adding to it.

This is my new favourite from this universe.

I loved the story from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of hurt/comfort, steam, and relationship building.

The guys are such amazing dads, and Joey is absolutely adorable.

If hockey romance isn't your thing then don't worry, this isn't really a hockey romance book. One of the guys is a doctor who is also a team physician for the NHL.

I did a low-key wish at minimum her dads would have said sorry before walking away for good. They show up weeks after the baby is born to try and yet again make her come home, and when she says no (again), they're just like "well was the baby born?" and upon learning yes, she had the baby and bonded the pack their response wasn't a happy one. instead, they ask, "What have you done?"

I kinda wish they had seen what they'd done before she cut ties (kinda petty of me that they suffer, hahaha)

By the end, I was left with a couple of questions like what was Bethany studying? what is it she wants to do when she graduates?

There was so much focus on Bethany's family yet not a single peep about the guys' families, which left me curious.

Small questions that don't detract from the story at all but just left me curious.

If you were going to choose one in this series of standalones, I'd 100% recommend this one.

🩵Melissa Huxley’s books have always been one of my go to’s for omegaverse romance reads. Her books have always made me smile and feel some type of way when I am in a book slump and can’t find my way out. This fourth book in the Pucking Pregnant series is absolutely amazing. From the beginning to end I couldn’t put it down! I loved Beth and how her and Joey clicked instantly. I was so excited to finally read Beth’s story since first starting the Pucking Pregnant series. I loved Beth as a character before she even had her own book, and to see her story unfold with the rest of pack Noble, was exhilarating. The way that pack Noble instant knew that she was the one for them was so heart warming and cute. I also loved how they all protected her and stood up for her in her rough times. We all love a protective alpha. I definitely recommend this read to anyone who loves the omegaverse romances and especially to the ones who love the pregnancy trope!

The best book in the series by far!

Ya know, I was hesitant to read this one because this series has been inconsistent and dissatisfying. Beth was also a question mark in a prior book because of the vague melodramatic shadow of her returns home. This book though really exceeded any expectations I had. Beth is an amazing FMC - self reliant, capable, smart, caring and funny, the girl has it all. Even her ties to home are relatively understandable (no one wants to break it to themselves that their family is shit). The guys are pretty much great from start to finish. Cullen wobbles but smarts up fast. Joey is the best side character possible.

Antagonist resolution is a bit lacking. Call me crazy but I want to see the witchy pta mom and brothers engulfed in a blaze of vengeful glory. Don't get me started on her fathers.

The humor is much better in this book, and the lack of miscommunication and melodramatics was refreshing. The author had way fewer inconsistencies in this book than prior and didn't suddenly change up the social constructs this time which is nice. The author does have really great quality editing in all the books. I would love to have seen an epilogue for this group since Beth has more than earned her dreams being fulfilled.

Unexpected Pregnancy

This might be my new favorite in the series! I'm a sucker for a nanny romance and this was practically perfect!!

The relationship between Beth and Joey gave me all the warm and fuzzy feelings. It was gradual and we got to see it transition from teacher student to friends to mother/daughter. She probably didn't even know it yet, but her mama bear instincts kicked in very quickly when it came to Joey.

Beth's family were real pieces of work and I'm so happy she is able to find her worth and stand up for herself.

Even with the pull Beth feels to Pack Noble there's too much at stake for her to give into those feelings.

Her relationship with her pack was rocky to say the least. I'm happy she calls them out when they're wrong and isn't afraid to speak her mind. There are lots of ups and downs but once the men decide they want Beth they're all in.

I wish we saw more of Kennedy but was so happy we got to see her a few times!

I can't wait for the next one, if Melissa is writing it, I'm reading it!!

Listen, I came for the single dad swoon and stayed for the "holy hormones, Batman!" plot twist. This book? A rollercoaster of heat, heart, and hilarity—with a surprise baby bump riding shotgun!

Our Omega starts off just trying to help a sweet kid learn to skate (cue wholesome vibes), maybe earn a little extra cash, and definitely not fall into the laps of three ridiculously irresistible Alphas. But oh no—biology wasn’t having that. Next thing you know, heat hits like a zamboni on ice and bam—boundaries? What boundaries?

What really got me though? Watching her grow into her own power. She didn’t just survive the chaos—she owned it. From family drama to unexpected pregnancy, she proved that sometimes life has to throw you into the deep end (with three Alphas and a toddler-sized cheerleader) just to show you that you can swim like a damn champion.

Messy? Yes. Complicated? Obviously. Worth every second? Absolutely.

A spicy, laugh-out-loud, heart-squeezing reminder that we’re often way stronger than we give ourselves credit for. Especially when we’re skating on thin ice—in heels, pregnant, and still looking fabulous.

Yes!!! Beth and Pack Noble

I was so excited when I read Surprise Mother Pucker about the possibility of Beth's story. This story is a sweet omega, crushing on the single dads, bit of an age gap, toxic family trope. I loved it so much!

Beth teaches ice skating to the cutest little girl, Joey. And Beth may have a teeny tiny crush on Joey's pack dads; Jensen, Cullen, and Gideon. And they sure are obsessed with her too - but with Joey to think about, they know they can't date her ice skating instructor. Beth is working 3 jobs to pay for college since her dad's won't support her since she decided to leave Nebraska. Everytime she goes home she's reminded why she wanted to leave. Trying to earn some extra cash, she watches Joey as a nanny. But being around those hot alphas, poor Beth gets surprised with a heat.....and not long later, they're all in for another surprise. Beth has to figure out how to navigate her family demanding she come home, feelings for the pack, and how to be a mother figure for Joey. (Sidenote: even though her family from Nebraska sucks, excited to see my home state representation in there!

Pucking with My Head is the fourth book in the Pucking Pregnant series by Melissa Huxley. You do not need to read the other books in the series before this one. There is one female omega (Bethany or Beth) and three male alpha (Cullen, Gideon, and Jenson). There is no cliffhanger at the end.

Bethany left her fathers and brothers to attend college and they have not supported this decision. She is working multiple jobs to pay the bills. One of her jobs is teaching ice skating lessons which is where she met Joey and her three fathers. The pack has sworn off another omega after their experience with Joey’s mother. Over time, all of the men fall for Bethany and she falls for them too.

Bethany ends up pregnant by the pack and her family does not take the news well. They have always expected her to come home and take care of them. She decides to start living for herself and her baby instead of her ungrateful family.

This was a great story where we see all of the main characters overcome past family issues to create a new family together. Good read this now while we wait for the next book to come out.

I really enjoyed this latest installment of the Pucking Pregnant series. It is hockey adjacent as the MMC is a former hockey player and current Physician for the hockey team. The FMC Beth is the skating coach to an adorable little girl Joey. After Joeys single fathers find themselves in a bind they ask if Beth could possibly help them out and watch her and she easily agrees. Everything goes semi smoothly until a misunderstanding and fever leads to disaster and a surprise heat along with a surprise pregnancy. As the men learn to navigate this new life while trying to overcome a past trauma and Beth learns she is more than enough and always has been while also learning what family really is and how they are meant to take care of one another and not just meant to be a burden one has to carry will they find a way to truly be a family or will their inability to come to terms with the past tear them apart? The one thing they all agree one from day one is that they will do anything to make sure Joey is happy and that’s a good place to start.

Loving this series! They are all interconnected standalone RH/why choose omegaverse books. Some characters may overlap books. The fmc in this book is besties with a previous character. She is trying to escape her not so good life and is desperate enough to go to University far from her family. She thought the distance would help. It doesn't. She tries so hard to make it on her own, but teaching skating lessons and her coffee shop job just doesn't make ends meet. When the opportunity to look after one of her skaters turns into a job, she doesn't hesitate to take it. And the three alpha dad's that come with her new charge are definitely not hard on the eyes. When the alpha's feelings for Bethany become apparent, it's still not smooth sailing with a family like hers who will stop at nothing to try and manipulate and control her. But they definitely underestimated the alpha's. They protect what's theirs. And Beth? She is theirs.

Dear Melissa…Please keep pucking with my head 😝

I absolutely love any omegaverse books by Melissa! Beth was such an amazing character who had gone through so much, but of course, the universe had a bit more to throw at her before she could get to her HEA 😉 It did so by bringing Pack Noble into her life, just so that she could teach their daughter Joey how to skate, but almost immediately Cullen, Jensen & Gideon found themselves working hard to fight their attraction to Beth by trying to convince themselves that they were all wrong for her. Well, we know all about how far good intentions will get you when the universe has other plans….unexpected heat anyone? 🤯😈😝🥵🔥 Drama soon engulfs Beth from different sides & in many forms. Can she & the alphas who can’t resist her find a way to claim their happiness together? With Melissa in charge, you better believe it…and you’ll love watching their journey unfold. I can’t wait for more in this world ✨✨✨

Bethany is determined to earn her degree and create a better life for herself. However, balancing her studies with working two to three jobs to support herself leaves her with little time. Then, a nannying job with an adorable little girl brings significant changes to her life.

I must admit that I really didn't like Pack Nobel, especially Cullen. Some of the things he said early on made me yell at my Kindle with reactions like, "Run, Bethany!" I couldn't believe he said what he did! However, by the end, I found myself growing fond of that pack; they really stepped up when it mattered.

Bethany is a resourceful and kind-hearted Omega, and I'm surprised by her resilience considering how her family treated her. On a side note, I would love to see a story about redemption for her brothers; that could make for an amazing narrative.

This is an excellent Omegaverse story, filled with drama, heats, knots, and angst. Add in some adorable children, and you have a truly engaging read.

I really enjoyed reading Beth's story. She was part of the former books, and even as a side character, she was a likeable character. And we met the lawyer dad, Gideon, before too. Soo, I wanted to see how her story would go.

Of course, it isn't an easy road. Beth has her struggles. Like every female main character before. Her family is trying to force her back home by refusing her help. She works two jobs. One is the already known at the ice skate rink, where she teaches kids. And that's how she met Gideon and the others. Because their daughter Joey is one of those kids she teaches and is close to.

So, one thing leads to another, and she ends up stepping in as her babysitter. Tho, that job took an unexpected turn and she ends up pregnant.

Now, they have to navigate what's best for everyone and how to move forward. Let's say, it comes with differences and obstacles. But, of course, it ends in a happy end.
