Delcan is the youngest Taylor brother and one third of the trio of alpha leaders of the Kismet pack. He is in a desperate state of confusion, tormented by a recurring dream of purple eyes. Refusing to burden his family with any more issues, Delcan is determined to figure out why he can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong.
Naiobi lives her life as an outcast among her fellow feline shifters, never certain whom she could trust. Her fears are confirmed when she awakes in the middle of the woods with no memory of the last year of her life. Her only choice is to keep moving forward with her life, but Naiobi is haunted by the sense that something is missing.
Delcan is determined to keep his family and mate safe while figuring out who or what is haunting his dreams. Naiobi is trying to find the missing piece in her life. When these two shifters collide, no one is prepared for the outcome. Will their meeting be blessed by Fate or lead to the destruction of each of their lives?
This second installment of the Taylor brothers series was just as addicting as it he first. You cannot stop fate and Naiobi and Declan proved that. I loved them together and I can’t wait for book 3.
Finding out they were mates but they got put a spell on them was like a second chance for them to get know each other better and her being a princess 👸 and the spoiler for book 3 crazy but now running to read it
Ni’ssan absolutely slayed this book! The world she created is amazing, the shifters races that are in her are *chef kiss* Naiobi and Declan have so much against him but they made their said back to each other. I love a good fated mates, especially when there’s a little tug and pull!
OK girl you did it again and you got me hooked. I can’t wait for the next one to drop girl you could’ve charged me. I would’ve bought it. OMG must read. Don’t forget to read the first one if you haven’t read it this is the real review yes, TTT.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5|🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 I really enjoy the suspense in this paranormal romance. The Taylor family has a lot on their plate and the prophecy is still confusing because we don’t have all the parts but I’m enjoying how everything is unfolding. 💖
This book is less than 200 pages, but it feels a lot longer (in a good way). So much happened in “Yours” to move the prophecy plot along, and Ni’ssan did a great job with the pacing. It’s also pretty action-packed.
I don’t remember much about Delcan from “Mine”, but I do remember thinking he was up to something because of his constant attitude and how mysterious he was. Turns out, Delcan was that way because of some tricky-ness that I don’t want to spoil. My opinion of Delcan did change while reading “Yours”, and I grew to like him. He also was sexing Naiobi really good so he gets bonus points for that lol.
My favorite character was Naiobi. She was standing on business and could back up any shit she was talking. Naiobi was also pretty independent and made sure to remind Delcan of that trait when he got beside himself when they reconnected. Naiobi’s background storyline was also pretty interesting.
There’s not much of an update on Yves and Zamiyah, but they do appear throughout “Yours” (as well as everyone else from “Mine”). Which, Cree really ain’t shit bro. He keep playing on my good sis, Halo, top and I don’t like that. Zamiyah’s reaction to Cree doing what he did to Halo would’ve been mine if I were there. I’m ready for the next book because I gotta find out if Ni’ssan is going to redeem Cree or let Halo move on with someone who’s better for her.
These are not alpha men. You’re not an alpha because you’re controlling and have a big weenie. If their mate warns them of danger, they should immediately move to check something out and ensure the safety of their family and their pack. If suspicious things are happening, they should question EVERYTHING. They’re so gullible and naive.
Saying “he was under a spell” is a lazy way to clean up their messes. Not only should they have more discernment, but the people around them are also shifters and should absolutely notice when something so major is off. What you mean she never shifted in front of him?? What kind of pack doesn’t have pack runs and/or ceremonies where they bond with their animals. The author is lacking creative problem solving.
More research into shifter lore is required to write a story that respects this genre.
Halo deserves better and I hope Cree doesn’t get off with a “under a spell” excuse. I would literally denounce my pack if all 3 alphas fell for the same ruse. Praying for patience to finish this series.
This is the second installment of the 3 Taylor brothers and I must say, it was both action packed and steamy! Declan and Naiobia love story is really bumpy from beginning to end. Other than fate, I just don’t understand how either of them are alive to tell the story. There is a lot of action scenes however, the part where they wake up after a witch try’s to spell him and kill her and said witch gets away out of a broken window, who in their right mind thinks of having sex. Also, I don’t like the fact that these intelligent Alpha Shifter men aren’t using good common sense with even the fact that they know to protect themselves and there love ones from the danger that is clearly hunting them. I’m looking forward to third brother Cree’s story because he may very well lose his mate for being stupid.
Good plot but questionable execution. Paranormal books are tricky because the details matter. Too often, authors pick and choose when the shifters enhance abilities kick in. Like for example, wolves have exceptional hearing and sense of smell, so for anyone to stand in the next room and eavesdrop on them is unrealistic. Then, if you know that there is a whole group of people out to get you, you would think that all parties involved would share even the tiniest of details to try and piece together who’s after you. Nope, not here. It’s just frustrating for them all to be shifters and not trust their instincts. It just doesn’t make sense to me.
This was an Amazing Read!!!! I truly enjoyed the way Declan and Naiobi relationship evolved. And how the parents loved and admired and supported each other. Cree needs to get his life together if it’s not too late. It seems he likes going against the grain. I hope Zamiyah forgives Yves and get back to their loving relationship especially since they have a puppy the way. I can’t wait to read the next book to see how this pack evolves resolves and conquer. With Fate on their side I know they can be victorious for the sake of the prophecy and the life of everyone…. You did an amazing job and I look forward to the next book!!!!
I enjoyed Naiobi and Delcan's story. I enjoyed the characters and their banter. This book gave more insight to the prophecy and the things that have been happening. I found several things crazy! This story has spice on top of spice. I appreciated the cliffy warning at the end and giving the reader an option of stopping before it. There was more action in this book and more new characters. I'm really hoping Cree redeems himself, especially after the bomb he drops. You will have to read to find out for yourself. There needs to be some minor editing, but the story is a quick read packed with enough to keep you curious.
I like the writing in this book, but being a lover of paranormal fiction it misses a lot of marks. The level of obliviousness of these characters, especially with the men being Alphas is astounding. I do love these characters and the writing is great, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t call out these oversights. These are shifters with a keen sense of smell, eyesight and hearing and yet they manage to sleep, have sex and sit next to obvious enemies. Sigh. On to book 3.
This book completely captivated me from the very first chapter! Declan's fierce love for Naiobi, despite not remembering her due to the sinister India, had me on the edge of my seat. The Sage with the Dark Mags and the other brothers kept me completely enthralled throughout the story. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to see how the story unfolds for Cree and Halo….. I hope she finds a new Mate to love her out loud, Cree doesn’t deserve her. 🤷🏽♀️
I absolutely loved this book! While there were a few parts that felt a bit rushed, the overall plot and storyline kept building beautifully from book one. Ni’ssan did a great job keeping the momentum going, and now I’m really looking forward to book three — especially to see more of Cree and Halo’s story! Big ups to the author for only being two books into this genre and already delivering hits. They definitely haven’t missed!
Just know that if you loved book 1 you’re going to love book 2!!! Though they don’t show as a series this story has me addicted and I refused to put this down. I love how we are seeing how Fated mates can come in different forms and how they navigate it all as a family. Naiobi and Declan are though into their love story missing pieces, but the results are staring them both in the face. The tug and pull with the need for understanding is top priority. Then you have a mate that’s going to challenge you but doesn’t know the power the possess. I have never been into books about shifters or this world that are in these books, but I think I found my new trope if it is done right. Baby this was done so right!!!! There is so love, drama, action and of course the spice🔥🔥🔥. Lucky for me I just started, and all three parts are out. On to book 3!!!
Naiobi & Delcan!!! Boyyyy was this a wild ride then to add Ivory & Isaac!!! Whew! Once truths started spilling out it made my head spin. I’m even more mad at Cree cause of his treat ment of Halo! So to feel her HURT HURT 😢 made me sooo sad! All these shifters gotta go! I wanna see all these different colored eyes in person!!!!! I don’t think Limmy pregnant either, yea I said it!!!
Shifters, spells, betrayl, mates, and spice...oh my! This is the 2nd book in this genre for this author, and whew I'm loving it❣️ I literally sat in one spot until it was finished. I'm hoping part 3 is coming soon. I'm eager to see the 3rd brother find his lost rabid mind👀
Y’all!!! if I can just roll over screaming! This is a great series. I’m not sure if anyone realizes it because it doesn’t come up as a series. This is goooooood!! I think I finished this book and the first one in less than 24 hours. I have to go to the Next one to find out what happened. I don’t wanna do any spoilers.!! 😂😂😂
So I’m enjoying this series a little more I definitely love Delcan and Naiobi more out of all the couples who would of thought a kitty and a wolf could spice it up like them… Cree sucks so bad and I don’t think he can be redeemed… It’s just so much drama i’m wondering when it will all end but excited for what’s next for the pack
While I loved this book, I think I'm comparing it to book 1 which has been may favorite so far in the series.
however, I definitely enjoyed it. Love the storyline and the world building.
per usual, I'd recommend this book but suggest starting with book one. Although it is a interconnected standalone, I believe you'd appreciate it more with their complete backstory and buildup.
Well worth the wait! I can’t wait for the next book. I can but I don’t want to! Great job again. I’m so excited at hide the story I’d unfolding. Phenomenal job. Ni’ssan has quickly become on of my favorite authors. This series solidified it
I loved how this all comes together. The characters are great I love the banter and humor they give each other. I am frantically searching for the next title, hopefully all the unanswered questions are answered. Love it!!!
Within the first two chapters, I was 100% swooning. So much happened in a short period of time. So many things are coming out . Every lie is a surprise. It keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book!!!
Baby it’s so much stuff going on in this book I couldn’t put it down. This family is something else. Naiobi and Declan Chile if my man ain’t coming like Declan I don’t want it lol. I need more of this series.
