Espionage, subterfuge and intrigue - what a fantastic read! Nicholas Harvey is the master of split - time novels and this book is no exception.
As always, it features believable characters that seem to come alive on the pages along side a wonderful insight into the Cayman Islands both now and in the 60’s.
The dynamic between AJ and Reg, with Thomas as a buffer is so enjoyable and absolutely makes these stories the pleasure they are to read.
Throw in characters from previous books and a splash of Nora too, just to top it all off, and Destiny Island certainly doesn’t disappoint; I’m always torn between rushing to find out the conclusion and not wanting to actually get to the end!

My Favorite Harvey Book?
Is this my favorite book yet? I'll let you know, but first, a brief review.
Another dual timeline gem! Using the technique Nick once again weaves a wonderfully singular journey worth taking.
When we reach our journey's end, a bonus link sends us to heartfelt music, tears... no, just allergies, I 🤔 believe. I couldn't help but marvel. The lyrics are also from the mindful soul of Nicholas Harvey! I can't wait for my own vinyl to arrive with all the songs from the last two installments from this enjoyable series.
...my favorite, however, seems to always be the one I'm reading. Thank you to the entire team!

This entire series is just awesome!!! this book represents the tender love and loyalty to the ocean, the deep loyalty to the nation, and also to loved ones and friends and to the truth! This author can put together a storyline bridging 50 years and including several other past experiences, weaving them together to create an incredible story!! this book is so worth reading!!!

Stupendous!!!
Nicholas doesn’t disappoint with his latest installment in the AJ Bailey series! I will not give anything away, just grab it and read. AJ gets up to her usual antics with the crew, and the pace is perfect! The only reason this gets 5 stars is because they wouldn’t let me give it 10!!!

Another block buster
A really great story you can believe me when I sat it had me guessing and that was for sure
An reg and all the gang got in on this even coop started out just trying to.get a handle but after a couple chapters even I got it wrong as to who was the survivor but im looking forward to the next Instalment ciao from Bobbie my Scotty and George

Really enjoy these books
I really enjoy the AJ series and the writing of Nicholas Harvey. It continues and intertwined with his Nora series, and Wayne Stinnett's Jesse series. These mystery thrillers are entertaining and a great read. Looking forward to the next in the series.

loved it!
Good story as a Cold War negotiation in the early 60’s ties in with AJ and Reg’s current job. The discovery of a silver cigarette case during an inspection dive is the lynchpin to the whole story. Well done!
