Jorund Ironhammer comes from a long line of master blacksmiths. The Ironhammers are one of the most famous names in Dwarven ancestry. So renowned was their armour that not only did they make armour, weapons and even decorative items for Dwarves, but they made wares for anyone willing to pay the right price, bringing fame to their name throughout all of the Kingdoms. However, Jorund is not like his family; in fact, he is unlike any of his Dwarven brethren because he is 6 feet tall.
Loreleia Zylleth is head of the Royal Guard, coming from an ancient bloodline of high-born Elves. She had seen the most brutal battles the world had ever witnessed and walked out the other side, stronger, if not with a more jaded perspective. However, like Jorund, she is different from the rest of her Elvish kin as she is 5 feet tall.
Join this unlikely pair as Jornund joins Loreleia in the search for her brother, to take his seat on the throne and restore order back to Elfhame. However, their travels will not be as easy as Loreleia hopes.*Exclusive for a limited time only*

Another great book from Kerree Kendall. The beginning of a love story between Jorund and Loreleia who come from 2 very different backgrounds and come across each other on their quests. I loved their back stories and their personalities. Of course there were weird creatures within the story and I particularly liked the sand worm. I am guessing there wil a sequel based on the ending so I hope this is true.
