Over time, Wolf manages to gradually grow used to the Beta Dungeon. But new events outside of the dungeon change things, both within the dungeon and outside of it.
How will Wolf react when the War of the Progenitors breaks out due to a mistake made by the Reaper?
Or will he simply ignore it and continue on his journey to clear the Beta Dungeon?
About the series: Join Wolf as he is forced to join a livestreamed dungeon crawl against his will just days after the entire world was told of their initialization into a universal System. As he fights his way up the floors of the dungeon, gains powers over the ice element, and survives. All while being watched by the entire universe and slowly learning of the origins of the Administrator Dungeon and the System itself.
Shane Purdy is a college graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science. At a young age he became fascinated with Fantasy books after reading the Wereworld series by Curtis Jobling, which led to a love of reading that continues to this day.
When he was younger you could almost always find him with a book in his hand (when he wasn’t busy with Band activities that is). As he got older, he started reading online webnovels as well. In June of 2021, after reading thousands of books, he decided to take the plunge and write a book of his own, starting with his first series, Dungeon from the Void.
He writes both high and low progression fantasy novels of varying genres, including Dungeon Core, LitRPG, Cultivation, Sci-Fi and more.
He does not use any sort of social media for his books other than Reddit, he has no Facebook pages, and his Facebook account is private and not public. Therefore if anyone finds public Facebook or other social media accounts outside of Reddit or Discord claiming to be him, they are fake.
Series started fine, and I like the start of the author's other series. However, there is really only 25% of a book here. I can not recommend this to anyone.
I hate to say that as I love the characters and the idea of the series. But can we please be honest here; six books of the mostly same plot is boring. We didn't even get a good viewing of the family's fight or tenure while trapped in the different sides of the war.
The last quarter of the book is where (in my opinion) the story takes on new life again and keeps the book from being a waste of time and money. It opens up whole new possibilities for the future.
However!!!!!!!!!!!! How is this author going to keep our attention to get wolf to level 1'000 when it has taken 6 books to get to level 300? I honestly don't know if I have it in me to potentially finish this series.
Great story line, but where is the author taking us?
I have been overall very pleased with the direction and originality of the series. This book is no exception. The real questions should be where is the author going with the story, and how many more books before we reach some form of conclusion? That is not me asking for an ending... I just do not want another Robert Jordan or Terry Goodkind!
I feel like it's been forever since I enjoyed a book so much I couldn't put it down. This book is another exciting installment to this series. The changes are fun, and the time skips didn't make me feel like I missed anything. I love the series little spider child. She's still just as adorable, even as she's zooming through age development. The two reactions Wolf has to her clubs and the idea of her dating were funny.
Not too bad, but the writing style barely improved. The constant frowning, shrugging, nodding with their heads (ffs, what else can you nod with?), hands in the pockets, it's just so tedious. Also it basically became a one man show with Sapphire being there sometimes, no real stakes or risks anymore.
This can be summed up in two words. Horrifically Boring. This author has always had an issue with balance and pacing. It gets glaring obvious the further into a series you go. There is no direction, and nothing feels accomplished.
Wow this one is really good, I completely enjoyed it and I think everyone else will too. Things are really heating up and getting tense for a bunch of people and it’s so much fun! Start with book one!
Wolf is increasing in power and ability. It will be interesting to see how things progress with the interest of so many Progenitors on him and the System. I’m curious to see how it all will develop since Wolf isn’t even half way through the Beta dungeon yet.
I went into this with no idea how much I’d be surprised, but in a good way. I expected a typical grind/progression through the dungeon. Which, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy immensely. While it was that, there was so much more to it. Very well done.
I enjoyed the first few fights. Even with an MC thas a one dimensional edgelord. However now the fight ate just the same. Freeze everything and instantly win.
I enjoy a good litrg/apocalypse book and this no exception. However, writing about a dungeon run in multiple book becomes repetitive so I hope the MC gets out soon.
