Best book on success, obedience and the blessings of God.

Who would think that something like "understanding" could be expanded into a spiritual instruction manual. That's the novelty of the entire experience.
Understanding accomplishes one major thing that I look for in everything:
I am not one for pretense. I appreciate honest expression. I don't like experiencing anything through a veil. I gravitate towards things and people who are able to deliver a message about their sentiments, thoughts and convictions in as genuine a form as possible. Without selective regard for the recipient. Say what you mean, exactly how you mean it, and let what you say have value.
Understanding reduces an extremely broad idea to an art form. Previously, understanding was a numb word for me. It was an overused, easily missed part of my vocabulary that really had a narrow use. But, if you think about it..with all the knowledge expansion we do and all the things that we don't understand, it's really worthwhile to invest the time in learning that process through a spiritual Christian lens.
That's really difficult to find. There is an innate sense here, though, that the author fully believes what he is saying, and he does his very best to expound on the value of that belief as genuinely as possible. It's personal. And, it feels relatable.
This book manages to lay out, in super cool brevity, what is really a new way to relate to God. One that I am increasingly applying. Shane uses understanding, that is revealed insight, as the pathway to hearing God's voice more clearly and directly applying His instructions.
One thing: opt for the Hardcover or eBook formats. The book is a beautiful white. I like to keep books that I have as shelf ornaments. The paperback is STELLAR quality but doesn't stand up well to late-night snack staining.

When I first received a copy of Understanding: All Success Is Attained by It by Shane Wall, the thought that immediately coursed through my mind was, “Understanding what?” My curiosity was heightened as the author linked ‘understanding’ with ‘success’, and before I turned to the first page I could comprehend the enormous importance placed on ‘understanding.’ In short, the author implies that success can be attained only if one travels through the road of understanding.
But then, the question arises: What is it that one should understand? It is no easy question and I don’t think it is easy to answer either. Shane Walls writes, “Understanding applies a molding effect on our minds and character, shaping us into that which God desires for us to become, resulting in imminent success.”
It is not an easy topic to tackle as it is an abstract subject. Yet through well thought-out chapters the author deftly handles the subject resulting in the reader to fully absorb the purpose and meaning of the book. Some of the more striking chapters include Seeking Understanding, Understanding Beyond Experience, The Habit of Understanding, Five Levels of Understanding, The Attractiveness of Understanding and Costs of Understanding.
Reading the book will give you what it means to truly understand, and impart understanding into your heart. It is a book not to be missed.

This book changed my life! I would definitely recommend it to anyone going through doubt, uncertainty, or insecurity about God's plan for their life-especially as it pertains to success.
Oftentimes, we have the tendency to compare our success to the success of our co-workers, family, and friends. As Dr. Shane Wall teaches in this book, the secret to attaining the success that God has for our lives is not to rely on our own understanding, but God's.
When I read this book, I was going through extreme uncertainty about my job situation. I was unemployed and had been looking for almost half a year at that point! God had already told me I was going to get a job, but I still felt so down about the whole situation that I couldn't focus on God. This book changed those negative emotions!
After reading it, I finally understood-my success is not measured by my own understanding, but God's!

Pastor Shane Wall is the real deal. His book is deep and insightful, obviously the result of much prayer and spiritual perception—as well as an intense study of the Bible.
Understanding is a wellspring of life to those who have it... Proverbs. And Dr. Wall wants readers to find out how to access this precious gift of the spirit.
In a well-thought-out address to those just starting on a path of seeking as well as those who have steeped themselves in scripture, the pastor gives personal stories and anecdotes to show how understanding is the key to following God’s plan for our lives.
Not only can all of us begin to apply to our lives right now what Pastor Wall has been inspired to share, we can also take up his insights to come closer to God.
I enjoyed reading about the pastor’s early life and his own struggles to find his right place in the world, as well his stories of others in their trials. The book isn’t hard to read, nor preachy, nor dull. It’s both illuminating and an enjoyable read.
I actually have started to read the book for the second time as I know I will come across some gems I’ll want to ponder further. I recommend the book for all those interested in true spirituality.

If you've had difficulty understanding your life, this is the book for you. Understanding will give you all that you need to comprehend the triumphs and trails of everyday living.
Wall teaches us how to deepen our relationship with God by understanding things the way he does. He even teaches the biblical principles that help us to understanding God himself! Wall masterfully teaches the reader how to understand life, by understanding God.
This message will clear up any misconceptions or broken areas in our connection with our Father and Creator. Understanding has saved me a lot of grief because it has caused me to think consciously and take more time to consider what God wants from me. When you live and pray, by how God understands and sees your life, you will never have an unanswered prayer because you understand how to pray.
If you feel like their is a void in your walk with God or you just can seem to figure out what do with your life, grab a copy of Understanding.
It's worth every penny and some!
