Rate this book
What does it mean to live deeply?

What if the key to living a meaningful life isn’t discovering who you are, but understanding who you can become?

And what if who you become is deeply interwoven with what your life, and what our world, can become?

Returning to Center is a beautifully written, transformative debut that offers an alternative approach to life, living, and the spirit. From questions of spirituality and health to exploring your purpose and society, its passages invite you to consider yourself, your relationships, and your communities with new eyes.

Grounded in nature, collective and personal, this book is a revolutionary answer to what to do with your life.

I read the passages only when I was in a state to accept and absorb what it was saying. You can feel the reverence in how it was written. I love mcosm/soulstice, and this was exactly what my soul needed.

Not what I expected, but in the best way? This book changed me. It's probably the first book in this genre where I learned something, felt something, and found something all at the same time. It reads really well, and I like that you don't have to read it in order.

The book is also super timely. This has been the only book I read this year that really felt like it gets everything. Like, everything. It goes deep and manages to be timeless, but it also addresses this specific moment in time really, really well. Maybe that was coincidence, but it did so in a way that I haven't seen in anything else I read this year. It just feels relevant.

So many books in this genre repackage ideas, or feel really shallow. This one is definitely not afraid to be wholly different. Somehow, it makes you think, challenges you, and feels like a hug at the same time. And all from a perspective that is not common in self-help.

This is definitely top 3 books ever for me, and probably my favorite self-help. I still come back to it often.

The title says it all, I reread this book often whenever I start feeling overwhelmed or need a sense of direction.
