I went into this book curious but skeptical, and ended up highlighting nearly every other page. Astrocartography: An Astrologer’s Guide to Where You’ll Thrive does such a good job of breaking down a complex topic into something approachable, personal, and genuinely useful.
It explains how planetary lines can influence different parts of your life—career, love, creativity, inner peace—and how those energies shift depending on where you live or travel. It’s not written in a preachy or overly mystical tone; it feels grounded, like a conversation with a wise friend who also happens to really know their astrology.
What I appreciated most is that it’s not just about where you “should” move, but how to make the most of where you already are. The exercises and reflections at the end of each section help you see patterns in your own experiences and connect them to your chart in a meaningful way.
Even if you don’t take astrology too seriously, this book can still spark insight into why certain places feel like home—or why others don’t. It’s both practical and inspiring, and it made me want to pull out a map and start dreaming again.

I’ve been interested in astrocartography ever since a friend introduced me to it, but I had a hard time finding books that really explained it well—until I came across Astrocartography: An Astrologer’s Guide to Where You’ll Thrive. This book is so well laid out, especially for someone like me with no prior background in astrology.
It’s organized by planet, with practical interpretations and clear calls to action for each location, which made it incredibly easy to follow and apply. The writing is engaging and accessible, and I found myself flying through it—it’s one of those rare books that makes a complex topic feel completely approachable.
Highly recommend it to anyone curious about how location and astrology intersect. A beautifully written and insightful guide!

Finally — a book on astrocartography!
One of my friends went to a talk by Clarisse and told me about her work, and I’m so glad she did. This book is incredibly helpful and beautifully laid out. It’s organized by planet line and then broken down into the four key areas (home, relationships, career, and purpose), which makes it super easy to navigate. I especially loved the fun “packing tips” section — perfect for creating your own planetary itinerary. So fun! The book is gorgeously illustrated and is a really nice (larger) size.

Excellent book. It is an easy, fun read that makes the world of astrocartography feel totally approachable. She mixes real-life stories with practical tips, so even beginners can figure out how to use their birth chart to find their best places to live, love, or travel. The idea of “remote activation”—tuning into a place’s energy without actually going there—is especially cool and modern. It is a great mix of cosmic insight and wanderlust that leaves you wanting to check your map right away.

Extremely informative and eloquently written! It takes a topic that is quite complex and breaks it down into digestible pieces. I’ve always wanted to understand where on earth I should be and this book is really helpful to understand that.

I went to a talk by the author, Clarisse, about Astrocartography and it was eye opening and certainly gave me food for thought about life, locations, next steps etc. Clarisse is very knowledgeable and clearly an expert in her field. The book is well written and easy to digest.

I love this book! It breaks down each layer of Astrocartography in a way that’s easy to digest and think around. I looked up my map and put post it’s throughout the book to see exactly where certain details apply. I’m seriously considering a big move and will be consulting Clarisse and her book!

Finally! A useful astrology book you can actually apply to your life. A good read that really informs you in a practical way about the decisions you have made and the places you have lived and how they might not always be by chance. Highly recommend!
