Her first year at the academy finally over, Lera returns home for the summer. Unfortunately for her, she’s barely been there an hour before she receives a marriage proposal. And it doesn’t end there, as Lera then learns Lord Peylon has plans for her that she wasn’t even aware of! It turns out that her suitor isn’t the only one interested in her future...
Nonetheless, Lera is home and that means going into the Mystic Forest, seeing old friends, and attending the annual hunting festival. But when some jewelry goes missing, unwanted visitors rear their overdressed heads, and knights from the royal capital start tromping around the forest for mysterious reasons, Lera finds her summer a little less relaxing than she had hoped.
Lera returns home for summer to enjoy her free time hunting in the forest and later on enjoy the hunting festival. She quickly learns that with getting older comes more responsibilities. She is not nearly as free to enjoy herself as she expected, and to make matters a tad more difficult she seems to have drawn the ire of somebody else then her father. What follows is much like volume 1 a light hearted slice-of-life story of a somewhat airheaded overpowered isekai protagonist easing her way through life. The characters are entertaining and as expected a bit over the top, making it a good pop-corn read, nothing serious, just fun.
Love the characters. Don't try to say all the names but that's part of the fun. Good hidden and potential conflicts and future reveals. Finish it in a day.bLooking forward to the next book. Wish it was out now.
