Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the GoodReads database with this name. See this thread for more information. Mike Carey was born in Liverpool in 1959. He worked as a teacher for fifteen years, before starting to write comics. When he started to receive regular commissions from DC Comics, he gave up the day job.
Since then, he has worked for both DC and Marvel Comics, writing storylines for some of the world's most iconic characters, including X-MEN, FANTASTIC FOUR, LUCIFER and HELLBLAZER. His original screenplay FROST FLOWERS is currently being filmed. Mike has also adapted Neil Gaiman's acclaimed NEVERWHERE into comics.
Somehow, Mike finds time amongst all of this to live with his wife and children in North London. You can read his blog at www.mikecarey.net.
I’m a Mike Carey fan and came into this with expectations, unfortunately the story only teases elements of his work and doesn’t quite hit it for me in the end.
Great ending to a fun series. The ending was satisfying with the sisters kicking Sabine out and the angel killing the bad guys. At the end he used his final powers to make a new box and put the sisters, who now inhabit one body, the protectors.

The story wraps up in a satisfying and well-paced way, with enough space for a sequel. I'd be interested in a continuing story that focused more on individual inhabitants of the ghostbox.
Very impressed with the series! I enjoyed the plot and the characters, and the ending was satisfying. I enjoy these short stories and Ghost box Is no different. Good read!

I have always loved comics, and I can, and I have. I love comics to bits; may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love it. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics, Mangas, Mahwas, and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
