No light in the window.
When large solar flares are observed around the sun the government doesn't inform the people what is happening. When this happens there will be no electricity, no phones, nothing will work. A family that lives on a small island off the coast has been setting up the island to live off the grid. Will they be able hold their home?

Nice brief EMP encounter.
A small family Struggles to survive on their island. Joined by a few friends And acquaintances they set up a defense system To protect their resources. It was a Too happily ever after for my taste, But did make a fun read.

Decent storyline
Decent storyline but I really disliked the main character for a good portion of the book. Her arch did improve by the end but it was almost like it was a different person.

January 27, 2025I didn't particularly enjoy this book. The relationships and dialogue between the siblings on the island seemed silly and unrealistic to me. Though the book held some interest, it was not enough to recommend it.

When the lights go out two sisters and a brother are living on an Island their family own. They are building it up so they could live there,then the emo struck. The biggest part deals with they struggle to see safe and survive.
