An enjoyable book that I didn't want to put down till I finished it. This was the second book I had read by the author and would not hesitate to read more.
The story moves right along and it was an okay mystery. I liked the characters and thought they were well developed. I particularly liked the local details.
I live in South Carolina, so naturally I was attracted to this book. All I had to do was read the first page and it drew me right in. Kelly Yonce, I will be looking for your next book. You are amazing!
This was an interesting novella that had everything I love in a story: complicated characters, a family secret, and a mystery. The story has flashbacks that reveal family history and character relationships. Overall, I enjoyed the story which moves quickly and is over before you know it.
Read this in one sitting. A good mystery bound up with a very small, believable touch of paranormal. A southern girl comes home for a funeral to a years old family puzzle. I wish it had been longer.
