In a fractured America, John Warren—a battle-hardened former soldier turned reluctant hero—fights a relentless war against a brutal corporate occupation. When his quiet Northern Michigan outpost becomes the target of a deadly Homeland operation led by a vengeful enemy sent to hunt him down, John must rally his team for a desperate mission to liberate Camp Grayling, a notorious prison camp where hope and humanity are all but extinguished.
With insurgents, militia fighters, and former prisoners at his side, John plunges into a harrowing battle where loyalty is tested, sacrifices are made, and the lines between survival and vengeance blur. But as the dust settles and freedom rings hollow, John realizes the war’s true heart lies in Washington, D.C.—the very center of the corporate machine pulling the strings.

I developed the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot series from notes and ideas I had put together while deployed to Afghanistan. I had been jokingly asked how we would defend against a zombie attack.
I wanted to tell a story that portrays the military that I know, that displays our actual capabilities. These are my thoughts, I hope you enjoy them, and thank you for reading.
Major John Warren and his 4 man unit fought the enemy on home ground in Michigan.
The U.S.A. is a fractured country and John's unit is fighting guerilla style from the snow covered Michigan winter. Fighting to stay alive. Using the countryside to their advantage, they fought the foreign invaders where they could. Their enemies feared them. Enough to bring hunters to find and kill them, but even their best was no match for this unit. A big offensive is planned and the major and his team are needed for what they do best: killing the enemy. The characters are fit for their roles. Ready at any time to kick ass and collect data, they are all business. Characters to admire and emulate, they know their jobs and the storyline demands their best! No struggle, just hard work. The action is near non-stop, very few pauses for reflection, just heads up, eyes open and, bullets flying! Not much quiet time for me either! Every page flying by as bullets fly and blood flows. This is an amazing read!
