Readers finally get a chance to know Marcus, Phail’s Deputy, and his story, including the woman he can’t forget. He and his army buddies moved to Phail at the suggestion of Troy Phail, a descendant of the town’s founders, and have made good lives for themselves while also making improvements to the small town that had seen better days. Only Marcus is still single and not in any sort of relationship. He hasn’t made a relationship a priority, still unable to forget Elina, the woman he and his team had met in Afghanistan. She had been offering aid and educating the young girls of the village. After the explosion that took part of leg, Marcus and his team lost track of her, and not knowing her full name made searching for her impossible. Then Fate brings Elina to Phail.

Now back in the States after years of living abroad, Elina, a talented artist, makes a living producing her comic strips, something she can do from anywhere. She has been traveling the country and also searching for answers about the man she knew as Arrow who had been gravely injured the last time she saw him. He had always made her feel protected and safe and something deep inside her needs to know what happened to him. When she comes across a town by the name of Phail in her search, a niggling memory of something Arrow’s buddies had said tells Elina to go and check out Phail. Coming face to face with Arrow is a dream come true. Both are stunned, thrilled and just a bit nervous to see each other again. The strong pull toward each other is still there between them, as are the sparks when they touch and their tingling awareness of each other.

Seeing his whole team again and meeting the women in their lives, makes Elina see that she wasn’t forgotten or overlooked as she had always feared. Everyone makes her feel welcome and encourages her to stay even if her stay turns into forever. For the first time in a long time, Elina feels part of a family and a community, instead of lonely and isolated. While she is taking everything in, the group all notice the chemistry and attraction between her and Marcus. All are determined to help these two to find their way as couple and not just as individuals. When trouble follows Elina to Phail, Marcus and his friends step up to keep her safe.

I have loved reading this series and all about life in Phail with the six army buddies and the women who claim their hearts. They are a fantastic blend of romance, suspense and building a community. I highly recommend this book as well as the others in this series.

A true delight:
I loved every moment of this book! It was wonderful to finally get Marcus' story and to see him find his special someone. Elina was perfect for him and I enjoyed their sweet and uncomplicated romance. There was some suspense and action, however overall this was a gentle and feel good, small town romance.

I loved No Man Left Behind Book 6 of No Fail Heroes. I have been waiting for Arrow’s story and it did nit disappoint. However, I’m so sad that the No Fail Heroes are done, I’m crying over here. Marcus never stopped thinking if Elina and what might have happened to her. Without a last name, it’s so hard to search for her. Elina never forgot about Arrow, she needs to know what happened to him and his team, problem is she never knew their real names. When she’s drawn to a town named Phail, she gets the shock of her life finding Marcus and his whole team. Unfortunately, someone is after one of them and things will get bad before they get better. Love how Phail had grown and each of the guys have gotten their girl. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This is book six in The No Fail Heroes series and it is Marcus and Eliza’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Marcus and Elina met years ago in Afghanistan while he was on assignment and she was a teacher but an explosion changed everything but they never forgot about each other now years later will this be there second chance. Marcus was in the military but while overseas in Afghanistan a explosion changed his life including his career and now he is a deputy in the police department in Phail Vermont where he works alongside his army brother’s who are also his family and now they have all found love with their perfect woman who has become their everything and it was also what Marcus wanted but the woman that he never forgot about from years ago and had a strong connection to her before his life exploded but that is wishful thinking so now he makes sure that his brother’s, families and town stays as safe as he can. Elina had enjoyed her life in Afghanistan teaching the children but when the village was attacked it changed everything and what she went through also changed her life but now back she feels like she is constantly being watched and then things started to happen so she left because the one thing that she always wanted to do was find Arrow and his team to thank them but she had no idea what his real name was, where he was or how to find him and then she remembered something and decided to find out if she was right. When Marcus and Elina meet again after so many years the attraction, chemistry and connection was still as strong as ever but danger had arrived and they didn’t know who was the target Marcus or Elina so now the whole team and town was on high alert and it is a race against time to find out who it is, what they want and eliminate the threat before it takes away Marcus and Elina’s future which is what they both want and deserve after everything that they have been through in their lives. Wow I absolutely love this book and series so much because it is so action packed, addictive and definitely worth reading. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of so many different emotions and I couldn’t put it down because the story pulled you in and kept your attention throughout. The people in this town are so protective, strong, unique in their own way and are great characters who know how to care for and love the people and community around them because it is so important to them and I would love to live in this town and as you read this book you will feel part of this extraordinary and extended community and family. Jemi Fraser is a amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading and you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to read her next series even though I am sad to see this one come to a close.

Finally Marcus gets his HEA! The history between Marcus and Elina was one of wondering, connection, chemistry, unfulfilled promise, gratitude, admiration, pain and sorrow. Seeing fate bring them back together was so lovely, the joy and happiness they shared seeing each other again was lovely, as was seeing that mirrored by the rest of Marcus's Team, Elina was someone they left behind and it never sat right with any of them, she completed them, Phail and Marcus.

I enjoyed the puns, the love, laughter and support shown, family, friends, teamwork, suspence, strength and seeing the community, a family, come together to protect, to encourage and to stick their noses in good naturedly. I cannot leave this review without mentioning the animals, they added another layer of love, laughter, joy and happiness to this story, and to the series as a whole. I have enjoyed reading this series very much and am looking forward to seeing guest appearances (I hope) in the new series to come.

Marcus has been there for every one of his teammates as they found love and as their new loves needed protection. He’s provided back up and solved crimes and protected his new home of Phail, and he has done it being happy for each of his friends. But he wondered if he would find his love, and he wondered about Elina, a woman whose last name he didn’t even know, and he had no way of knowing that she was thinking about him too and working hard to try to find him. Almost by accident (or by fate) she wanders into Phail and there he is! As with everyone who comes to this quirky little town, she falls in love with it, its people and, of course, with Marcus and Marcus works hard to get her to stay. Danger comes and the team and the town come together to solve the mystery and protect Marcus and Elina so they can have their happily ever after. I hate seeing the series end but I’m hopeful we will get to visit Phail in the future as we move into the next series. Jemi writes these awesome little towns and these fun characters so well and I love all of these stories!!

Sweet, suspenseful and dramatic.

When Elina wanted to find the soldier who helped her years before, she ends to in Phail and meets up with Marcus the town cop.

This was such a nice story. Dramatic and dangerous towards the end. But it was the connection between these two as well as the other team members who all live in the town and knew her as well.

That team spirit is very present and I loved how that came into play in this story. The dynamic of all the characters and the fantastic plot certainly made this book a must read.

So well done!!.

Marcus moves to Phail with the rest of his military buddies. We know he's the deputy, and has watched his friends find love. It's his turn now. Elina shows up in town, and they don't even know how she found him. They lost touch after an attack overseas. But it's the best surprise ever - for both of them. Weird stuff starts happening, and their friends band together to keep all of them safe. This is the sixth book in the series - how did this happen? I'm looking forward to seeing what the author has in store for us. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Marcus can’t stop thinking about the teacher he had to leave behind Elina and he doesn’t realize that she also thinks about him and his team who saved her and her students. It’s funny how the town name and puns drew her in. Troy was right. But she’s not the only one visiting, but unlike her this person has a sinister intent. I loved that she drew cartoons with positive messages and was involved in helping the town come up with a mascot. The abandoned dog and the rambunctious kittens he protects soon finds his way into Elina and Marcus’ hearts in this steamy romantic suspense.

No Man Left Behind is book 6 in the No Fail Heroes series and is the beautiful story of Marcus and Elina. Fate has a way of giving you just what you need and when Elina arrives in Phail, Marcus knows it was meant to be after wondering and thinking about her the past few years. When danger comes for Elina, Marcus vows to keep her safe. This is a beautiful end to the series and I loved catching glimpses of the previous couples and their happy lives.

Marcus and Elina's story was the story I needed after reading previous books in this and did not disappoint. This was a great second chance where two people needed the right time to get together with a nice sprinkle of suspense mixed in.

great story but errors

Love the Phail stories, amazing characters and wonderful story lines, the violence is kept to a minimum which is always a good thing. This book had alot more errors than normal, not sure why but it really detracts from the enjoyment of reading it. When authors charge this amount for a boot, they need to put out a better quality.

The sixth story in the No Fail Heroes, Marcus Ramirez has a lot to overcome with what happened to him in an explosion overseas during his Military duty. He meets Elina who he meet some time ago before his accident. She needs his protection, he is now a deputy. I found their story to be well worth reading.
