May 5, 2025I really wanted to like this but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I understand the FMC is insane due to past trauma but her behavior at times had me rolling my eyes. I didn't find any of her jokes/nonsense funny, just cringe.
I DNF'd the book shortly after I realized her scent-matched pack had a daughter through surrogacy. I don't know, it just feels like betrayal. And it's particularly cruel since the FMC was abused and graped and had a stillborn. And now her pack are (rightfully) concerned with how they're supposed to introduce their daughter to their scent-matched crazy and traumatized omega who's by no means ready to shoulder any form of motherhood. Yeah no, I don't feel like reading this.

I can't get past this annoying FMC. She's supposed to be traumatized and on a path of revenge but she acts like a mouthy 12 year old. And I'm so sick of stories where people act like murder is a funsies hobby.

I Love an unhinged FMC.
This was emotional, but so fun, too.
I loved how the guys indulged her throughout the book, even while being a bit wary about her ‘job’.

Went from 4 stars to 3 (I was going to add the .5 but the ending killed my vibe.)
Whew, where do I even start? There’s a lot happening here, but I don’t really have the energy for a full deep-dive, so I’m just gonna hit on what stood out to me.
The baby situation? Confusing. The alphas wanted a child but didn’t have time for a relationship, so they went the donor/surrogate route—sent off their sperm, got a 'perfectly matched' egg, and had a surrogate live with them while carrying the baby. Honestly, it felt like a whole different plot from another book.
Now, to be fair, I know that route is valid and meaningful to many people—but personally, it’s just not a storyline I usually enjoy UNLESS it's a book about a FL being either of those things. Yeah, It's just not my cup of tea. Moving on!
Now, the ending is where things really went off the rails. Apparently, the baby the MLs are raising? Yeah…turns out it’s actually the FL’s stillborn child. Plot twist: her baby was never actually stillborn. The MLs’ real baby was stillborn, and the surrogate swapped them out. Why? Because she wanted to pay off her college debt. So naturally, she linked up with an omega trafficking ring, snatched the FL’s baby, and boom—mystery solved. 😊
Like… what?? That ending was wild. Maybe if they snuck that mess in early before the readers got emotionally attached or caught on to the "we already have a baby" setup—it might’ve slid under the radar. But to drop that at the end like a cute lil twist? Be serious.

There were a few minor things that stood out to me—nothing huge but definitely eyebrow-raising.
Like that random scene where the FL encourages a little boy to paint his nails… because one of the MLs likes painting his. Okay… cute, I guess, but it felt oddly placed. Almost like I could hear the author whispering through the page, “Let me sneak in a little progressive flair real quick.”
Now let’s talk about the surrogate. Before we found out she was a full-blown weirdo, I actually felt a little bad for her. Imagine being a live-in nanny for months, bonding with the baby, just to get a knife pulled on you and be told you’re fired because you’re a woman. OOP! And then your boss cusses you out like they’ve been holding back for months. LMAO—what kind of HR violation is that?
I liked the FL most of the time—she had some solid moments—but honestly? What a mess. Somebody get sis a weighted blanket and a reality check.
Now the cussing. I’m not offended by it, but it definitely made me pause. The FL is clearly unstable (and the ending just drove that point home). I’m sorry, but... she needs something. A prescription? A spiritual cleanse?
Because most of the convos in this book are less about bonding and more about…

Oh, and yes—one of the MLs is into pegging and uses plugs. It’s only mentioned once, but it’s there. 😊 Personally, I enjoy sub male energy without it turning into M/M, so no complaints here! But I can see how it could be a hit or miss for others.
The start of the book was promising, and the FL thoughts were more funnier and easy to tolerate, but I'll say once after she meets the MLs, something changed a little. My laughter went from LMAO to ha....
I believe there should be one unhinged person in a group than 2, although Caleb matched her energy. I would've liked him to be more stable. The FL has reasons as to why she's like that, but Caleb...SIT DOWN! I also agree with a reviewer that the Alphas could've been more 'Alphaey', basically more dominant and firm on their decisions. There are alphas in OVs where even if the FL is against it 100%, he'll still do it because he knows what's best for her as her partner.
But with this FL, the MLs had to tread lightly with her, possibly in fear that she might kill them (she would). So although I love a good ole 'roles reversed' situation, I truly believe there should be balance.
In conclusion, the start was promising, and it leaves you wondering. I thought Jeremy was going to be an ML and take her to the 'buyers' house and then we'll meet the MLS as she navigates to her revenge similar to the 'Mindf*ck Series' but NOPE. I was hoping to see more of her 'honey trapping' instead of getting straight to business, but once again, it didn't happen. The book is not HEAVY on the revenge, and the villain died too fast. Very Underwhelming. Would I recommend it? Sure, just watch out for triggers.

I came across this book in a few recommendations and couldn't resist picking it up because the premise sounded interesting, especially with an FMC who feels so different from the usual FMCs in this genre.
˖ ݁ ❤︎. What I Liked .❤︎ ݁˖
1. I really liked the way Savvy met her Alphas for the first time! I was honestly so glad they weren't people who worked for or were already around the Duchess, because that's what I initially expected. If that had been the case, it would've felt way too predictable. The way everything actually played out was much better, and this scene ended up being one of my favorite parts.
2. There were definitely moments when I laughed out loud.
3. The MMCs, especially Caleb, don't just accept Savvy's crazines, they fully embrace it, encourage it, and never make her feel like there's anything wrong with her.
4. I loved the way Savvy reassured Leroy when he started doubting her feelings because he was afraid he wouldn't be as important as the other MMCs just because he's a Beta. She made sure he knew exactly what he meant to her and that he was just as important to her and the pack.
5. Betas can't give or receive a bite/bonding mark, but the part where Savvy makes a tattoo appointment for Leroy so he can have her bite mark on his neck and she can have his on hers was one of my favorite moments.
6. I love that even though Savvy is an unhinged FMC who tends to say and do whatever comes into her head without thinking too much, she's also surprisingly attentive when it matters. When she realizes what her men are insecure about, she actually does something about it so they don't have to keep feeling that way. She listens to them and understands what they're really feeling.
7. I love how the MMCs are basically best friends and brothers at the same time. What I liked most is that they aren't romantically involved with each other, but they still genuinely care about one another. They talk, ask about each other's day, check in on each other, and actually have that close-knit pack dynamic.
8. The scene where Savvy accompanies Leroy to his brother's bachelor night was EPIC and so satisfying.
˖ ݁ ★. What I Didn't Like .★ ݁˖
1. The biggest reason i can't say i like this book is because I really didn't like the whole surrogate situation with the MMCs having a child through a surrogate, especially when the surrogate mother still lives with them and works as their daughter's nanny. This is so frustating and the way the guys dont really mind it at the first place honestly made me so mad. At least they didn't use her egg as the donor, though.
2. The transition from Savvy being freshly rescued after being kidnapped and assaulted to suddenly becoming a cold-blooded vigilante killer and extremely horny felt way too fast. It was such a drastic change that it felt a little strange.
3. It really irritated me how often the FMC uses the word "fun" to describe all kinds of unhinged situations.
“But I did get to use a bat to knock him out, so that was fun.”
I swear, the words fun and funny were used almost a hundred times. I actually like unhinged characters in this kind of story, but the way Savvy was written sometimes felt like the author was trying too hard to make her quirky and crazy. Because of that, I struggled to feel genuinely attached to her as a character.
4. The scenes where the FMC does her vigilante work were sometimes way too clumsy. I kept noticing so many loopholes and thinking, How would the police NOT figure this out?
5. The author keeps reminding us that Savvy’s father has been looking for her for years, using all kinds of resources, and that the whole situation has been in the news. So the fact that nobody recognizes her face is honestly just so dumb.
6. The whole Corbin situation, especially with Savvy’s father searching for her, felt a little forced. There were so many loopholes, and the author didn't explain things well enough, so it was hard for me to buy into everything that happened.
7. The scene where Savvy asks Caleb and Leroy to help her deal with Corbin, only to have them get cuffed because she wants to protect them from him... WHY? Why even ask them to come in the first place if you're not going to let them help you?
Like, your men are an FBI agent and an ex-military guy! And then she gives this dramatic speech, but instead of feeling the emotion the author clearly wanted me to feel, I was just sitting there thinking, How stupid is this?
8. I'm also confused by the concept behind the final twist when Corbin reveals the truth. He says those things to hurt and destroy Savvy, but isn't the truth actually something that should make everything better for her? So I didn't really understand why it was supposed to have the effect it did.
.✦ ݁˖ Overall Thoughts .✦ ݁˖
This book instantly pulled me into the story because it starts with such an intense and heavy scene. And then we finally get the true reason why Savvy became a vigilante:
But reading this book also left me a little confused about whether it was supposed to be a heavy dark story or a light, spicy one. The beginning is REALLY heavy and disturbing, which made me expect something much darker. But after that, probably 80% of the book is surprisingly light and mostly focuses on how horny Savvy is.
Then the final 10% suddenly becomes packed with the actual heavy stuff, problems, drama, the big twist, the MMCs finding out the truth, their emotional breakdowns, and then the epilogue. Everything happened so quickly that it honestly felt rushed and left me with a bittersweet feeling.
Especially the MMCs' breakdown after learning the truth. That part deserved so much more room to breathe, but then the story basically ends on the next page. I really wish the ending had been longer because there was so much emotional potential there.
It’s also a little disappointing because of the overall tone of the story. The book started with such a dark and disturbing opening that it gave me the feeling I was about to read something REALLY good and intense. Instead, the story turned out to be much lighter than I expected and, honestly, became a pretty average story that I could easily find in other books.
But even though that was a little disappointing, I’m not exactly complaining because Savvy and her pack have such amazing chemistry and a great dynamic.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I also think there were so many things that could have been done better and written with less cringe. The beginning and ending had so much potential, and I wish the author had given the heavier parts more attention instead of rushing through them.
Still, if you like dark romance + omegaverse + reverse harem, especially with an unhinged FMC and a possessive pack, this might be right up your alley!

This is so frustating and the way the guys dont really mind it at the first place honestly made me so mad. At least they didn't use her egg as the donor, though.
2. The transition from Savvy being freshly rescued after being kidnapped and assaulted to suddenly becoming a cold-blooded vigilante killer and extremely horny felt way too fast. It was such a drastic change that it felt a little strange.
3. It really irritated me how often the FMC uses the word "fun" to describe all kinds of unhinged situations.
“But I did get to use a bat to knock him out, so that was fun.”
I swear, the words fun and funny were used almost a hundred times. I actually like unhinged characters in this kind of story, but the way Savvy was written sometimes felt like the author was trying too hard to make her quirky and crazy. Because of that, I struggled to feel genuinely attached to her as a character.
4. The scenes where the FMC does her vigilante work were sometimes way too clumsy. I kept noticing so many loopholes and thinking, How would the police NOT figure this out?
5. The author keeps reminding us that Savvy’s father has been looking for her for years, using all kinds of resources, and that the whole situation has been in the news. So the fact that nobody recognizes her face is honestly just so dumb.
6. The whole Corbin situation, especially with Savvy’s father searching for her, felt a little forced. There were so many loopholes, and the author didn't explain things well enough, so it was hard for me to buy into everything that happened.
7. The scene where Savvy asks Caleb and Leroy to help her deal with Corbin, only to have them get cuffed because she wants to protect them from him... WHY? Why even ask them to come in the first place if you're not going to let them help you?
Like, your men are an FBI agent and an ex-military guy! And then she gives this dramatic speech, but instead of feeling the emotion the author clearly wanted me to feel, I was just sitting there thinking, How stupid is this?
8. I'm also confused by the concept behind the final twist when Corbin reveals the truth. He says those things to hurt and destroy Savvy, but isn't the truth actually something that should make everything better for her? So I didn't really understand why it was supposed to have the effect it did.

This book instantly pulled me into the story because it starts with such an intense and heavy scene. And then we finally get the true reason why Savvy became a vigilante:
But reading this book also left me a little confused about whether it was supposed to be a heavy dark story or a light, spicy one. The beginning is REALLY heavy and disturbing, which made me expect something much darker. But after that, probably 80% of the book is surprisingly light and mostly focuses on how horny Savvy is.
Then the final 10% suddenly becomes packed with the actual heavy stuff, problems, drama, the big twist, the MMCs finding out the truth, their emotional breakdowns, and then the epilogue. Everything happened so quickly that it honestly felt rushed and left me with a bittersweet feeling.
Especially the MMCs' breakdown after learning the truth. That part deserved so much more room to breathe, but then the story basically ends on the next page. I really wish the ending had been longer because there was so much emotional potential there.
It’s also a little disappointing because of the overall tone of the story. The book started with such a dark and disturbing opening that it gave me the feeling I was about to read something REALLY good and intense. Instead, the story turned out to be much lighter than I expected and, honestly, became a pretty average story that I could easily find in other books.
But even though that was a little disappointing, I’m not exactly complaining because Savvy and her pack have such amazing chemistry and a great dynamic.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I also think there were so many things that could have been done better and written with less cringe. The beginning and ending had so much potential, and I wish the author had given the heavier parts more attention instead of rushing through them.
Still, if you like dark romance + omegaverse + reverse harem, especially with an unhinged FMC and a possessive pack, this might be right up your alley!

May 5, 2026This is not for me, not my type of humour and the FMC has zero filter, which usually I have no problem with, but she does not sound like a woman in her 30s at all. I understood the trauma behind, hence her odd behaviour, but she sounded like a child. The MMCs... not sharing with your supposed scent match that you have a baby perhaps is not a great idea, especially when you are aware of her deadly skills. When I read the blurb, I thought this might be refreshing, sadly it did not work for me at all. No point of continuing.

Blending dark elements with sweetness feels like it shouldn’t work but this somehow does! I found it a bit of a chaotic read but that fits the FMC well 😅 she’s gone through an awful lot (inc kidnapping, captivity, abuse etc - check your TWs) and it’s left her stabby, unhinged and a bit all over the place 🙈 but she has a softer side that comes through and one her pack will do anything to protect! She has no filter and it did make me lol at times with her inner thoughts and actions 🤣 The guys are a good mix of personalities that complement each other and balance Savvy. Although this is a slow burn (for the right reasons) the chemistry between Savvy and her pack is off the page and then when they do get to it it’s 🔥🔥 you see these five really come together as they face significant traumas!
There are lots of threads to this storyline which made it a bit jumpy for me and then the ending felt like it tied them in quickly after quite a build up. Overall a good read. 3.5 ⭐️

Savvy just jumped to the top of my favorite FMC list. Hands down, full stop. This chick had me laughing one minute and crying the next. She has absolutely no filter, which was a breath of fresh air. Caleb and Savvy together are spicy graphic romcom. Jake is her Hallmark movie Alpha. Daddy Leroy is….well daddy. And last but not least, Walker, the hot broody firefighter with a mouth hotter than the fires he puts out. This will make you laugh, but will also get you in the feels. I wish it didn't end 😭

I really enjoyed this book, I loved that the fmc was a badass trained killer and most of the mmc’s were pretty normal people. I was rooting for this fmc the entire book I wanted her to take everyone on her list down but I’m also really happy with how Savvy’s story progressed, she truly deserved all the good things. The twist at the end… I did not see that coming at all, it truly shocked me. Gosh I was so heartbroken for the guys, it’s so messed up what happened to them. I do wish there was more action in this book, I wish we got to see more of Savvy doing her job. This book was dark romance light in my opinion, it was really dark for the things the fmc went through and even the mmc’s but there really wasn’t enough of Savvy being who the book set her up to be in my opinion. I felt like the book could have been longer so we could have gotten those scenes and details. I ultimately gave it 5 stars because even though the book was missing some things for me I still really enjoyed it, it gave me all the feels.

Ok. But. This book is funny. Legit the humor is SO

I cried And the stuff that our FMC went through is horrible and terrifying and scarring yet her entire personality still radiates light as much as crazy.
This book did a really good job with making me genuinely care about the FMC and it was also extremely satisfying for them to find out what happened to her in such open and honest and also nonchalant kind of ways
As if the FMC is saying this happened to me and isn’t that crazy ?! And all of the MMC are always shocked and horrified and just want to give her all of the love
I love that we have Caleb, who is so gone for her, but in the best way ever
I also absolutely adore the found family trope that we get and the fact that Duchess is genuinely her best friend and only has her best interest at heart and it isn’t this side character that becomes something evil
She’s straight up just her friend and also my boss and also bad ass

This is dark, but I really loved the FMC. She has no filter and is such a badass. Her dynamic with all the men is super cute. I also love how there was not 1 man that she actually preferred, because in why choose you usually have 1 favourite. She spent her time equally with all of them.

I will never get over how Alisha continues to have the ability to render me speechless with each subsequent release.
Whether it be omegaverse or any other tropes, she masterfully creates, I am never disappointed. This release is part of her omegaverse world, and believe me when I say- I ate this up. Or, as they say, “Alisha ate this up and left no crumbs.”
This book had all that I love from the author, with all the spice, a compelling plot, and always with the most memorable characters!
I loved that we get a mix of all of her best kinds of writing in this, with the dark aspects, the why choose, and the omegaverse world. These tropes together craft a fantastic and gripping read, that guarantees to have you glued to your kindle for 500 + pages.
When I say A can write a sassy, dangerous, and headstrong MFC, that puts Savvy mildly and tamely. She did not miss when writing her character and her story. Have I mentioned the MEN? If you’ve read her work before, I need no words. If you’re new….get your seatbelts on and crank the ac up. This will leave you gripped in danger, thrill, spice, and a story that will make your head spin.
DO NOT sit on this release. This one won’t soon be forgotten. I can not wait for this delicious story to come to paperback; it’s gonna be a delicious addition to my shelves.

The audio performances for this are so stinking good. Duet style and Bridget Bordeaux is incredible as our unhinged omega. She goes for it and plays into the character and you can tell she’s having so much fun. Jake is also fantastic and brings unique flair to each make POV, differentiating them in a compelling way.
The story itself was pretty solid. I loved the premise, I love a super vulnerable/deeply wounded omega who is also hella crazy and unhinged too. The characters are fun, the spice is good, and I’m here for a sidekick raccoon named Thor. It did lag a bit in the middle (mostly spice and couple bonding, felt removed from the beginning and end subplot)- just which it was woven together a bit more, and the twist didn’t quite work for me since I think it and the ending felt rushed. But overall enjoyed it.

I absolutely loved this it’s a dark spicy OV with a fierce omega bent on getting revenge against the people who wronged her and the men determined to help her heal and love her. Loved these characters Savannah is sassy, sweet and a badass with a heart of gold her antics had me cracking up. I enjoyed the guys especially Caleb he was her partner in crime and all things crazy and dangerous. I loved that Jake never gave up looking for her, after their initial concern with how they met it was good seeing Walker and Leroy going all in and being supportive of her plan and I loved seeing them bring out her softer side. There ending was great well deserved after what they went through and I loved what Savannah did to help the guys begin to heal and get closure after learning the truth.

Me divertí mucho con Savvy! Me recordó mucho a parka de The Dark Side serie pero con sed de venganza y el ingenio de Lana de Minf*uck serie. Desde que la comencé fue adictiva y muy entretenida, amé a los personajes desde principales hasta secundarios todos estuvieron super bien.
El unico pero que le pondría es al desenlace, quería que fuera más largo y que Savvy disfrutara mucho más su ultima venganza. Igual lo disfruté!

I freaking loved this book every single chapter. I was dying laughing. Savvy is hilariously insane I love her and I love Thor. This was such a good book and the last few chapters were a emotional roller coaster. A really good book.
