I grew up as the precocious daughter of a preacher, but death stalked the hallways of my home, tearing my family tree apart and twisting my father’s love into something cold and constricting. Ever the good girl, I remained subservient under his watchful gaze, but each cutting remark and unrealistic expectation forced me to open my eyes and face the truth.
This life was slowly killing me.
At my best friend’s urging, I jumped at the chance to stay with her for the summer, having no idea how my life would change after a chance encounter with a dark and brooding biker. Now, my summer of fun feels a lot like happily ever after, even if the man of my dreams is my father’s worst nightmare. But when trouble comes knocking, it won’t matter if I’m a sinner or a saint as long as I’m willing to fight dirty for what I want.
They say all’s fair in love and war, but nobody told me corruption would taste so sweet.
Content warning: Bikers are gonna be bikers. If you are looking for a PG read, this book is not for you. Please expect a whole lot of cuss words, foul language, and dirty talk. There is also enough sexcapades and violence to make you question your morals.

Nevaeh is seen as the “good girl” — the one with the straight path, the rules, and the picture-perfect life. But once she crosses paths with the club, especially with the biker who is basically her opposite, that image starts to crack. What I really enjoyed is how Nevaeh‘s journey is about peeling away that “perfect” label. She isn’t just the sweet, untouchable girl — she’s curious, bold, and stronger than people give her credit for. The romance pushes her into that discovery. Her connection with the Raven Souls is dangerous, sure, but it’s also freeing, and her chemistry with her biker love interest is where the book shines. The banter is sharp, the tension is obvious, and when the walls finally come down between them, it feels both steamy and heartfelt. Of course, being tied to the MC means drama — violence, betrayal, and some tough choices creep in. But the balance of danger and romance works. The story never gets so dark that it loses the humor or the emotional beats, and Nevaeh‘s growth makes the ending satisfying. By the last page, she’s no longer “the good girl” everyone thought she was — she’s her own woman, standing strong in a world that tried to define her.
Yes, it's 5 too. There were a few cringe moments but "I can fix him". I can't do anything with myself. I'm weak against domineering and obsessed men. Even his behavior as an inseminating bull stopped annoying me. And I'm definitely in love with Tinkerbell 😋

This series just gets better! I laughed (lots), I cried, and I am SO emotionally invested in all these characters. EASILY going on my favorites list for 2025! I am way too excited for the characters stories that are coming given the breadcrumbs Ms Wright spread about!
* this book is a standalone for this couple, but it ends on a series cliffhanger
4.4 stars. This was fun. And emotional, but mostly fun. There were a couple things that got left unsaid by the end that I was hoping would have amusing conversations when hashed out, though. Also, though I did enjoy seeing the other side of things and filling in the gaps from the first book, it’s not my favorite thing when books overlap so much in the timeline and we have to ‘relive’ them, so to speak. It’s satisfying getting the rest of the story, but it also makes me want to skim over those spots because I’ve basically read them already. 🤷🏻♀️ It was a good book, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next in the series. I just wish we got a little bit more from it than we did.
I wasn’t sure if book 2 in this series could be as fabulous as the first…it was even better! There’s a bunch of different plots happening in this book beyond the overarching romance between Havoc and Neveah. Some things get answered…but the book also ends on a series cliffhanger. While this book is a standalone for the couple, it’s really better to read the first book Rest In Pieces, to appreciate all the twists and turns.
Neveah is perhaps one of my favorite heroines in a long time. I didn’t think she’d be better than Amity….but oh she is. She lacks a filter and is so smart and witty. She doesn’t let anyone one up her, she uses her mouth and puts people in their place…especially Havoc. She’s still holding her V card, but is a smut writing pastor’s daughter. She’s a delightful mixture of smart mouthed, some naivety, independence, and so full of love.
Havoc is the new president of the chapter and is still reeling from how the previous chapter treated and betrayed him. That is addressed in this book to a degree and I loved that plot point. Through a chance encounter (I.e. sleepy one night stand) Havoc becomes obsessed with his mystery girl (Naveah) and once he finds her he goes to some extremes (kidnapping) to get exactly what he wants.
The chemistry between the two of them is so hot it practically burns the pages. You can also just feel how much they are in love. The rest of the book is full of quite a few surprises (though I did guess two twists), and heartbreak. Please check the trigger warnings because this is a darker book, mixed with romance, humor, and action.

I LOVE this author. She's literally my go-to when I need to laugh like crazy while also feeling my heart rip out of my chest with all the heartbreak her characters go through.. and Nevaeh & Havoc are no exception. They have both gone through so much trauma and pain that have fundamentally changed them as human beings, and they are just trying to live one day at a time. Through a chance encounter, Havoc knows he won't let this girl out of his sight once again, even if he has to go through some .. extememe measures to get the results that he wants. But through all the craziness, the breeding kink *winks* and possible Stockholm syndrome, they do find a beautiful and passionate love together. If only their pasts weren't trying to threaten them apart.
Three is SO much that happens here. I am barely scratching the first layer of all that happens, and let me tell you, it's a fucking riiiiide. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, a twist comes at you or a heartbreaking revelation that just knocks the wind out of you, and you have no choice but to regroup. I truly hope all of our side characters -- legs, Lola, Ambrose, and more!- get their own stories as well. I NEED more.
This is not a book you can go into lightly. There are triggers after triggers, but there is a lot of beauty, too. I can't wait to see what Candice will come up with next!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **
I liked it and I mostly enjoy this authors books (not the RH ones cause I don’t read those) but I struggled a bit with the way they talked in this book, it was a bit much and not to my liking, I cringed a bit lol!
I can’t wait to read Lola’s and Hannibal’s book, I felt so sorry for Lola, she went through so much and I hope she gets her happy ending!
Motorcycle Club/Enemies to Lovers with insta-attraction/Multi PoV
SYNOPSIS (standalone but linked to previous book): The FC, Neveah, was a twin but her sister was kidnapped (presumed dead) when she was 10. As a result her father, a preacher, isolated her and controlled her life. She has finally broken away from him and through her best friend has fallen in with the Ravens Soul motorcycle club and as a result, the MC, Havoc. The story is similar to the previous book in that there is a stalker element as the FC is a romance writer and this is against a backdrop of club drama brought about as a result of Havoc being made president.
The is an enjoyable romp but not particularly deep. If you have read the previous book then you will find that unfortunately the first 20% of this book is a rehash of events in that (practically word for word in some areas). Personally that is just lazy writing. Fortunately I got this book on KU so didn't pay for it but I would not have been happy if I had.
The FC is strong and kick ass just like all this author's female characters and the MC is very alpha and possessive. It grated on me however that the FC seemed to not have a bigger issue with how the MC made sure she fell for him than she did. She seemed to let him get away with alot of stalker/obsessive behaviour that was not OK.
The story itself seemed to have some good building blocks for action and drama but actually, everything with the MC's old club seemed to just "get sorted" which was very anti climactic and I felt that the bad guys got no real comeuppance. The stalker storyline was a little under developed and the ending seemed to come out of the blue and be more to set up a future book than anything else. Personally I felt that the president and Havoc's brother should have really seen some justice. I didn't understand the point of the whole story arc when the author seemed to just let the story fizzle out and switch gears to the stalker storyline. Also, what actually happened with the town and the missing girls or is this another set up for another book? Frustrating.
Overall really not this author's best work and with the decline is her writing, lack of story development and depth I may rethink any future books.
There are lots of things going on with this book. There are too many things I'd say. I'm familiar with MC books and its tropes for having morally compromised men, but this wasn't where it was at.
First off - no matter which way you put it, Havoc SA'd Naevah. He didn't know what she looked like, just that a woman was "in his bed" (he literally says this and at first thinks shes a 'club bunny') and proceeded to grape her in her sleep while she was unconscious/drunk. She says that she thought she was dreaming and was enjoying her dream when she woke up and realized what had happened. She should have stayed far away after her book signing, like wtf.
Secondly, there is too much going on! Between the new prospects (including the fighter dude with the dying sister), the war with Driller/Khan + the subplot of the missing girls that never progresses, Lola's story line and then the side quest for Leg's being pregnant with someone else's kid while being with Midas. AND THEN, oh yeah- we have a whole other storyline about Citi and her being kidnapped her whole life. Oh, and that she's been getting graped and impregnated by her kidnapper for 13 years and has had multiple children by him. Just wanted to throw that in for the last chapter of the book. 🫠🤡 some last second cruelty for the main characters' twin sister. This could have been done right if it was the main focus of the plot, but it's not, unfortunately, so it seems like unnecessary cruelty just for a minute of shock value.
I absolutely loved Amity and the 1st book - I'm shocked at how bad this one is. I wanted to give it 3 stars because of my love for the first book, but I wanted to be sure to rate this story for what it is. Basically, if this book was the first book, I wouldn't have continued reading the series.

How did I just read a whole story without reading any of the story?
There were quite a few random time jumps during times I wanted to know what happened. The final “big fight” was the only real action we saw and that even felt like it kept skipping forward to get through it faster. We never got to read about the action that actually happened during the story. We only EVER got to read about the aftermath or get a brief rundown about something that happened and that it was taken care of. So there was essentially nothing interesting happening because it all happened behind the scenes.
Neveah had mentioned she doesn’t like confrontation but all she does the whole time is talk to sassy to everyone and confront people that piss her off. There was an abundance of side characters with all their street names that it got confusing.
I’m just pissed at how lacking this story was when it had such potential and I was excited for it. The prologues had me ready to jump in, but they honestly felt like they were written by a completely different person.
Minor spoilers: . . . . What the hell happened to the girls that had apparently been getting kidnapped? That storyline wasn’t at all wrapped up aside from saying that Havoc’s old prez was in deed involved. Okay….and????
Also, that fucking ending in the epilogue??? How are you going to make a happily ever after for a couple end with her telling him that his ex was forced to be with his brother against her will (which was obvious the whole time) and he is so pissed that he missed the signs and couldn’t help her. So the story ends with him being worked up over what happened to his ex and then agreeing he needs to have a talk with her. What????
I needed some MC time but that has passed. It was a good story, but went super dark (for me). The author gives us ALL the trigger warnings so I knew going in. But the ending hit me so sad.
The majority of the story continues from the 1st one, we see Amity and G as well. Its the mystery of her sister that plays out in this one as well as the other motorcycle club.
Neveah is quite the character and Havoc seems amazing- if not completely unhinged: He kisses my forehead and lets me go. As I walk away, he slaps my ass. “Ouch.” I jump and glare at him over my shoulder “That little sting means you’ll be thinking of me while I’m gone.” “You, sir, have issues.”
Highlights & Spoilers:
There were funny bits: I cross my arms over Funshine, not liking his tone. I should be acting nice so I can lull him into a false sense of security before—wham—I kick him in the balls and make a run for it. But his eyes twinkle like he knows exactly what I’m thinking. ---------- I need to have a word with that woman. She’s a bad influence on Nevaeh. (this was hysterical as the man has kidnapped her and looks at her friend as a bad influence?? lol)
Pulling back, she turns to look at Havoc, narrowing her eyes. “G was looking for you.” “Should have checked my vagina; it’s where he usually ends up when you can’t find him.” Amity snorts as Havoc throws his head back and laughs. I roll my eyes, link my arm through Amity’s good one, and drag her outside. -------- Havoc might have the temper of an angry toddler, but he has the oral skills of a god. Lord knows I’m ready to worship at his altar. -------- “You love me yet?” he whispers. “Not yet, but I like you a lot more than I did yesterday,” I murmur. I fall asleep to the sound of his laughter.
The next book will be a heartbreak for me which is ironic since I was attracted to this series for that book 3 alone! So I may not continue since I started at the beginning of the series and now I have too many feelings for Lola. I hope Hannibal does her right!
If I were to be looking for an obsessive, possessive and utterly devoted biker, who despite his intensity worships the very ground I walk on, Havoc would definitely be the one.
This story starts with a rather traumatic experience that the FMC and her family go through. I could only imagine how she felt as her other identical half went missing. Similarly, the MMC has had his fair share of betrayal and backstabbing. I can see why Nevaeh's tenderness and care pulled on Havoc's heart strings while his possessiveness and determination to her is exactly what she needed. The main hero knows what he wants from the start and it did pay off as the FMC did fall straight into his arms.
There were some things that were kind of left pretty vague and I would have liked to see some clarity as to the disappearance of the girls, but perhaps that would take place in another story.
There are quite a few side characters that are rather interesting as well, so I guess more is to come from that s world. I liked the story and despite my slight hesitation with some moments, this was an enjoyable reading experience.
This is the second book in this amazing series, and this is Havoc and Naveah’s story. Havoc is possessive and obsessive, and he was betrayed by those closest to him, and he has found a family, in the Raven Souls mother chapter. Naveah has endured so much in her life, as the daughter of a preacher, but death stalks the hallways of her home, so she finds a new life in the MC, and adjust to their lifestyle. This is a well written story which is an easy to read, action packed, emotional roller coaster, with found family, friendships, betrayal, forgiveness, revelations, undeniable chemistry, acceptance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, captivating page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I'm posting this kind of late. I actually read this story right after it came out and I'm circling back to write reviews after reading the third book. I think the third book really taints this book for me. I really liked Havok as a character in his book, but after the third book he's definitely gone down several notches. He has a similar vibe to him as Scope, but he's a lot more sane and a little less of a psychopath.
As for Neveah. I don't like her name, it's just weird. I also didn't care for her character too much in the first book. The second book I liked her a little more, but she was definitely a doormat character. Third book, I outright disliked her. I actually look forward to her sister's book, but I'm done with her character. I think the biggest thing I don't like about her is that she's a writer. Too many books an author writes about a character who is an author and it just always reads so weird and like the author is writing themself into the story.
I was really looking forward to this book, and while it had some good moments, it left me feeling conflicted. There were things I enjoyed and things that didn’t quite work for me, but I can’t fully pinpoint how I feel about it.
It’s one of those reads where I’m glad I gave it a shot, but I wouldn’t reread it. That said, I’m still interested in seeing where the series goes next.
What a book. It sucked me right in, made me drop my panty's real quick, and gave me some much love for these people. I also might want to stab some people.
DNF... I really enjoyed the first book but I feel like the trigger warnings weren't adequate on this one. The "sex" between the FMC and MMC doesn't at all come across as consensual. He finds a woman he doesn't know (fully dressed) sleeping in the room he was assigned and instead of waking her up he assumes she's been left as a gift for him and initiates sexual contact with an unconscious woman. When she tells him later that she's not going to be with him he tricks her, kidnaps her, uses her phone to lie to her best friend about where she is (while said best friend is recovering from a seriously traumatic event) and then decides to stick his fingers in the FMC to prove that she wants him even though she's saying she doesn't. No doesn't mean yes, and men who think that it does aren't attractive.

Enjoyed book one. This one was a hard one to get through. The ex being brought up at the end and the h being upset or heart broken was a joke way to end the book. The characters chemistry was weak and lack development. The h was unlikable and the romance on this was force and not believable. Don't get why the author decided to bring up the h ex being the victim and the h being physically upset about it as the ending ruined the book in my opinion. It diminished the FMC importance. It made it seemed like the h still feels something for the ex. The ending HEA was questionable. Disappointed...
The second book of the Raven Souls MC series follows Amity's best friend, Nevaeh.Since Nevaeh's twin sister's abduction when they were children, things have not been the same in her home life, with her family treating her like she is invisible. Nevaeh makes plans to visit Amity for the summer as an attempt to run away from her past and her home life. It doesn't take long during her trip visiting the motorcylce club to encounter Havoc, who is the new president of Raven Souls. The main reason that this story didn't work for me is because it was obvious that the only reason Nevaeh and Havoc were even together was because of the lust that they had for each other. I had a major issue with the night they met because she was drunk and passed out in his bed, and he thought she was there for him, so he took her virginity that night without knowing. The author wrote this off as her waking up and enjoying it, but all I could think was that would have sent him back to prison in the real world. That scene also bothered me because I thought she would have valued her virginity more as a preacher's daughter, because of the way that she was raised, but it seemed like she didn't really care about it being taken from her. I also had an issue with one conversation between Nevaeh and Havoc where she asks him what men see when they look at her and he answers "Sex." That conversation confirmed my suspicions that they were only together because of lust and not love. It told me that is all he sees when he looks at her, and she seemed okay with that response. There was also a kidnapping scene where he told her that he was only keeping her at the cabin so they could get to know each other better before the rest of the club finds out about what is going on between them but he didn't even try to get to know her. When describing what they did at the cabin, only sex was mentioned. The ending and the night that they met were what solidified this story as a 1 star for me. The ending made me so mad because after finding out from Nevaeh that his ex was raped by his brother and she never planned on leaving Havoc, he tells Nevaeh that he needs to talk to his ex and she replies by saying that they can figure it out together. I was shocked when that was how the epilogue ended because usually an epilogue in a romance is focused on the couple and their future but it seems that this epilogue is focused on Havoc's future with his ex? There was no talk of the future between Havoc and Nevaeh in the epilogue. Even though this couple's story didn't work for me, I did find myself invested in some of the side characters and am considering giving their books a chance and continuing with the series.

Wow okay, this book was one hell of a rollercoaster… Both good and bad. The first like 20-30% of the book was a little too rapey and Stockholm Syndromey for me, cause let’s be honest, Havoc raped Nevaeh in that first scene and then he kidnapped her and kept her for two weeks so she would fall in love with him. That was all a bit much and had me questioning whether I should DNF, but I’m kinda glad I didn’t.
Aside from that the book was very enchanted, it sucked me in and I had a hard time putting it down, but it was all over the place with so many storylines that it was hard to keep straight😅 I haven’t read the first book, which I think should have because maybe then it would have been a bit easier to follow all the side plots and characters… The whole side plot with Nevaeh sisters kidnapping and imprisonment was a bit weird and feels very very unfinished, along with like 5 other side plots that’s up in air👀
But anyways! I feel like Havoc redeemed himself in the end, he really did Love Nevaeh and protected her at all costs. I actually enjoyed Nevaeh, I thought she was a great character and her wit and humor was honestly amazing. There were a LOT of characters in this book, but many of them brought great humor, chemistry and amazing banter between them all. It was very brotherly and found family, which I love🥰
The spice was decent. The first few times between Havoc and Nevaeh was really not for me, I didn’t really feel the consent which bothered me.. But other than that it was okay hot🔥

Wow, this book is absolutely amazing, seriously seriously good. This book overlaps a little with book one in the series and features Nevaeh and Havoc.
Neveah is Amity’s bff, a secret author of naughty romance novels (because we all know we need that in our lives), she’s the perpetual good girl and until very very recently she was still dragging her V card around. Mostly because her father is a preacher who is controlling to the extreme and emotionally abusive. He still treats her like a 10 year old child. The same age she was when her twin sister was abducted.
Havoc is the new president of the Mother Chapter of the Raven Souls MC. He was recently released from prison after serving 5 years for assault, he was ordered to take the fall for his brother. He wasn’t just a club brother the man was his actual blood relative as well. Whilst Havoc was in prison his brother moved in on his girl and got her pregnant. He hadn’t known anything about it until Blade (former prez) and G came to ask him about taking over as the new president. So imagine his surprise when he crawls into bed to find a cute sexy woman fast asleep waiting for him.
Misunderstandings and comedy gold are everywhere in this series. Havoc is single minded, utterly crazy in insta-love with Nevaehas well as having a very well deserved high level of BDE. There’s lots of action, drama and a helping of mystery it’s well paced and for only being book 2 in the series the characters already feel like old friends.
