Ann Goering is an award-winning journalist and author of Christian fiction.

Goering is passionate about helping women encounter Jesus, experience transformative hope, and live a life deeply rooted in the Word of God. She’s worked alongside an international Christian ministry for the past 15 years, as well as serving at her local church, and leading groups of women into encounters with Jesus through small groups and Bible studies.

She believes so much in the power of stories to illustrate spiritual principles, grow faith, and increase empathy, so wherever she is, you’ll find her sharing stories that reveal the beauty of Jesus amidst everyday life.

Goering loves entrepreneurship, travel, rodeos, interior design, deep friendships, and good hair days, but her absolute favorites are the people in her life.

She’s a Midwest girl soaking up the sunshine in the American Southwest, living on chicken molé and sweet tea, homeschooling her three best friends (aka daughters) with the only guy she’s ever kissed.

Love this family

I've just finished the last of the series of six books. I just hate to see this families story end. I NEVER buy kindle books but did with this series. I'm sure I can't give this series the kind of review it deserves. The author is so full of wisdom and explains God's grace and mercy through these characters. Dear Mrs Goering, do you really have to end this series? Is love to hear about Kara and her new baby.

I'm won't be able to say much about this book to avoid spoiling it for other readers. This was an emotional roller-coaster and the theme addressed a difficult topic for Christians: God's will and plans versus our faith in what He can do and our will. The theme is something I questioned a few times and felt the author handled it very well.

Silver Lining

This book touched me spiritually like no other. I smiled through tears at Hannah’s and Chris’ journey. Thank you for leaving me with memories of my own loss of my spouse. Who left this world for heaven from cancer.

This was my favorite book of the series! I’m so sad that it’s also the end. I could not put this book down. It kept me hooked from the first chapter. I love how Ann uses everyday issues in her books and shows how God uses people to help us through these tough situations. Nobody is perfect, and we all face difficult times, but God is always there waiting to help us through. This is definitely one of my favorite succession series, and I will miss these characters.
