A domineering professor, his demure assistant, and a demanding lesson in first time pleasure…
Adam has been the apple of my eye since the first day he stepped into my lecture hall. His big green eyes. His soft smile. Adam is a sweet thing begging to be plucked off the vine.
But he’s off-limits. I subject him to tough love as his mentor, but I put a leash on my desires…until Adam graduates and pleads with me to hire him as my private secretary
There’s no holding back. Not when Adam confesses he’s not as straight as he thought he was. Our academic relationship is twisted as I show Adam what it’s like to be with another man.
Mine to turn. Mine to teach.
I’m going to instruct him in submission.
And then I’m going to share his sweetness with the whole campus…
Turned is the first book in the Professor’s Hot Twink series. This is a dark and spicy journey best enjoyed in order. Features an eager “straight” guy falling for his older professor while being instructed in a shared use lifestyle. No cheating, but plenty of extracurricular fun. Ends with a HFN. The final book concludes with a HEA.
I'm J.J. Jude! Gay author of fun and filthy MM+ stories. If you want it extra spicy, I got what you crave. I believe in staying safe, but keeping it kinky ;)

THOUGHTS Thank you JJ for my copy of Turned, book 1 in the Professor's Hot Twink series. This is a quick read and IMHO just ends, readers do get a sneak peek at book 2 Trained and it picks up right when book 1 ends. It feels like it should be one book.

Adam takes a plant as a gift when he goes to the Professors for dinner? What would you take as a gift ?
J.J. Jude’s Turned: A Dark Straight To Gay Journey is an intriguing shift from their usual style—gentler, yet still packed with the tension and heat fans have come to expect. This first book sets the stage beautifully for what promises to be a thrilling, intense series.
The dynamic between the domineering professor and his sweet, eager assistant is captivating. Adam’s journey from innocent to intrigued is written with care, drawing you into his inner conflict and desires. The professor’s calculated restraint and eventual unraveling add layers of suspense and anticipation, making this a real page-turner.
While this installment is more of a slow burn, you can sense the darker, bolder elements simmering just beneath the surface, waiting to erupt in the later books. It’s a perfect balance of teasing the reader and leaving you craving more.
If you’re a fan of forbidden power dynamics, steamy tension, and a hint of the provocative, Turned is an absolute must-read. I can’t wait to see how this series evolves!.

Adam has graduated from University with his bachelor degree but is unable to find a job. He's always liked Professor Abernathy so he's asking him for a job. The only job available is that of Professor Abernathy's personal aide. Adam gladly accepts the job, unaware that Abernathy has had an interest in him since they met. Adam starts thinking about Abernathy in a more personal way. When Adam seems distracted he admits to not sleeping well because he's been dreaming of them...together, even though it's a sin. This plays right into Abernathy's plans. Read this book to find out how Abernathy punishes Adam, but not because he's a sinner.
I enjoyed this book even though it's a HFN book. I liked how Abernathy took Adam under his wing all through University and waited until after he graduated to make his interest known. It was nice to see all the care and concern for Adam's well-being and making sure they were on the same page before the relationship went to the next level.

This is a professor x assistant to more romance novella, featuring Professor Abernathy and Adam, and is book one in the Professor’s Hot Twink series.
Adam was a student at Ivyton University, since graduation, he has been struggling to find a job in his field of study. He decides to return to Ivyton to ask his favourite professor for a job.
Professor Abernathy has always had an interest in Adam and was delighted Adam returned to Ivyton. He creates a role for Adam so he can have Adam all to himself and corrupt him.
This book is spicy and the first in a series about Adam and the professor. It has set the scene for the series of their dom/sub relationship.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 1 in series Novella MM romance Professor x assistant Size difference Age gap BDSM Dom/Sub Virgin MC Calls him good boy Spicy times & dirty talk HFN
When a professor sets his eyes on a student you just know there is some form of trouble brewing ... usually. This time however the professor in question bides his time, waits until the student is such no longer and in fact becomes an employee. Even then he waits, getting his new employee used to being told what to do, to obeying commands until he decides his boy is ready to see his master's true self.
Short, clever, and erotic this book certainly keeps you on those tender hooks for quite a few pages but allows readers to get to know the characters a little better and see things from the point of view of them both. It is sexy and eye opening as well as fascinating, I read and read, both wanting to know and fearing to know what might happen next!
'I’ve always wanted Adam. And I’m a man accustomed to getting what I want. There’s so little I deny myself, yet I denied myself even one taste of Adam. If this sweet boy falls under my authority again I’ll not be taking care of him. I’ll corrupt him.'
I enjoyed this book. I liked the dynamic between them and you can really feel their chemistry. I liked Abernathy's control and composure- you can feel them more strongly in his chapter where we hear his thoughts. As a bonus, even though I can't hear it, I love that Adam has a southern accent. A great start to a new series and I look forward to more. 4 stars.
The author promises us a dark and spicy short story and delivers. What we're told is exactly what we get.
This first volume doesn't yet take us into the real kinky side of this series, and that's a good thing, because I can't wait to see how the relationship between Adam and his teacher develops. And I'm sure we won't be disappointed, because with this first volume of only 78 pages, the author has succeeded perfectly in establishing the tension necessary for this kind of book.
A kinky quickie indeed! Adam and Professor Abernathy both had secret feelings of wanting the other. And when Adam asks to be his personal assistant, Professor. Abernathy gave him the job. Little did Adam know his beloved Professor had a whole plan in mind. The build up to the spicy scene was well done and I loved and connected to Adam's character so much. Would love to see how the rest of the series go.
A good start I enjoyed the book and the storyline, although I didn’t find any overly dark. I thought Adam and Professor Abernathy got exactly what they wanted from each other. I look forward to rest of this series.

Turned is the first book in the Professors Hot Twink series by J.J. Jude, this is the first book I've read by this author but definitely won't be the last. This is an age gap, sexual awakening, professor/student read about professor Abernathy and Adam. It has a HFN and I can't wait until the next book.
In this short story we get a bit of the back history between Adam and the Professor and we also see how they start to establish a relationship, first by Adam becoming the Professor's PA. All this leads to a good spicy scene that will lead to more kinky spice to come in the next episode. The buildup is great, the Professor has the best dirty talk ever, and I loved Adam too. Can't wait for the next.
