This is a great book about deadly animals. What boy wouldn't love that? Fabulous illustrations. The text wasn't really easy, but it wasn't too difficult either.
I'd consider this more than an introduction, but not truly in-depth.
I think you could use this up through middle school as well. Fascinating and very well done.
