When a high-energy solar storm causes a cascade of destruction to the vast satellite constellations that orbit Earth, the ever-increasing debris cloud makes travel back to the home planet impossible.
For the thousands of colonists now stranded on the Lunar colonies and beyond, all caught in the grinding gears of this unfolding catastrophe, only one brutal choice remains — survive or die.

About Moon Base This is the first book in a near-future sci-fi series exploring the consequences of the mass destruction of the vast constellations of satellites in Earth's orbit. The science depicted in the series is, for the most part, plausible. In other words, what I consider to be technically possible with either current technology or by taking experimental research a step or two further. That said, you won’t need a calculator to enjoy the story.
Good characters and plot line. Stuck to hard science without being overly technical nor with no glaring missteps. The final conclusions are a bit obvious, but it was still a thrilling ride to get there.
My biggest gripe is that it is sold as a three part trilogy, but is really a single long book. You cannot read one part independently of any of the others. Buy the set as a complete work if you can.
A rollicking good read with some interesting twists!
A rollicking good read with some interesting twists and ideas. Well developed characters and enough technical sense to engage but not too much to interfere with the story!
It is always a risk setting a tale in the near future - real events can rapidly make the story seem old hat. However here we see the greed of modern corporations pitted against morality - always a strong basis. Loved it!
An entertaining and enjoyable read with interesting characters, variable personalities and familiar social, political, human and personal interactions with a great ending and a new beginning.
Absolutely loved this book by this exciting new author. Looking forward to reading many more of his books. Well written, well researched, and an exciting read
