31 Meditations

Standing in Awe: 31 Meditations on Fearing God

Rate this book
The Bible tells us to “serve the LORD with fear” (Ps. 2:11) and that the fear of the Lord is “the beginning of wisdom” (Prov. 9:10). But what does fearing God mean, and how does it work itself out in our lives? In this book of meditations, David M. Cook helps us understand the fear of God as “a joyful, awestruck trembling before God.” In working through this book, you will not only find a month’s worth of devotional thoughts to help you learn what it means to fear God, but you will also be encouraged to set your heart on the benefits that fearing God brings.

This is an inspiring 31 day meditation, but we read it on the way to Church to help set our minds for worship . It was excellent as all of the Heritage Reformed 31 meditations have been. These are a great series .

An excellent daily devotional. Clear exegetical presentations with simple, understandable imagery in exposition. Very encouraging.
