Welcome to Sin City! Home to the newest Daddy/ little collection from author Athena Steller.
Dom
I’m sick. I don’t want to be, but my stupid body betrayed me and now I’m forced to have weekly dialysis treatments as I wait to see if I will ever get a new kidney. I’ve been managing. Poorly but that doesn’t mean I needed the hot bossy cop to take over. I might want him to, but I learned a long time ago not to put all my trust into any one person. Remi calls to me though, my little side, the bratty sub that craves touch. Finding him with the silk ropes seals the deal. I’ll allow him to care for me if he’ll also tie me up.
I’ll call him Daddy forever if he ends up sticking around.
Remi
I was a teenage drug addict that worked hard to turn my life around. Now I’m a Lieutenant with the Vegas Metro Narcotics department hoping to save other lost souls like I’d once been. I see so much good in the world and in the people of my city that I just want to help. If only they would let me.
Knowing Dom is a part of the little group closely connected to his own friend group should make it easier on me. I can help the boy, take care of him, but he fights against me at every turn. Until I find the one way to make him submit. The silk ropes look good in my hands but even better wrapped around my stubborn little man.
This book contains MM sexual content (men having sex with each other), Age Gap, Daddy/little relationship, bondage, and discipline. This book is an exploration of a relationship between two (male) consensual adults that are looking for love and acceptance. All characters are over the age of consent. No cheating or cliffhangers.
Dom, battling a serious illness and reliant on dialysis, struggles with trust and independence. Enter Remi, a former addict turned dedicated police lieutenant, who is determined to care for Dom despite his resistance. Their dynamic deepens as Dom’s vulnerability and Remi’s nurturing strength collide, creating a bond that intertwines care, trust, and intimacy. Through their connection, both men confront their pasts and find solace in each other.
This was a sweet story as Remi took care of Dom as much as he could while he patiently waited for Dom to take the next step in their relationship. I loved the camaraderie between the boys and the way that they looked after each other. Lots of feelings and emotions in this story due to the relationship between them both and Dom's health. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
In this book the MCs have to trust one another. In the last book, we see where Brandon and Ezra kidnapped, not really, their friend Dom, to took him to Ezra’s house. Dom has Chronic Kidney disease and has just about lost all hope of surviving. He’s on the waiting list for a kidney transplant but that could take forever. Remi is the head of narcotics and has a thing for Dom. He’s made it clear that Dom will eat and drink what is on his list to help keep him alive. After several months Dom finally gives in to Remi and ask him if he would be willing to a proposal which Remi agrees. The relationship between the two is cute, adorable but also a little smexy. Athena Steller did an amazing job fitting these two together. Take a seat! Grab your Kindle/Ereader and enjoy this sweet book. It’s a 5 star ⭐️ read. Enjoy! 💜
Winning Big continues the Las Vegas Littles storyline in a way that really keeps the world rolling forward. I appreciated how this installment built on the characters and connections introduced in Doubling Down and All Bets Are Off, and I liked seeing familiar faces show up again as the story expanded.
The suspense and emotional threads were engaging, and I enjoyed parts of the central relationship here. It was nice to see growth and change in the characters as they navigated their challenges. That said, the pacing felt uneven at times, and some arcs didn’t land as fully as they could have for me. The story stayed interesting, but it never quite reached the depth or emotional payoff I was hoping for, which kept this from being a standout.
It was a solid read that moves the series forward and gives fans more of the world they love, even if it didn’t fully click for me.
Dom needed a kidney transplant and tried to handle his health himself but was failing until his friends interferd and made him see he wasn't alone. But what he was miss little time or a Daddy. Remi wanted to be Son's Daddy and boyfriend. He just needed him to come to him. Once Dom was brave enough to ask Remi for little time their relationship grew. Now there is just one more of the friends, Lake who needed to be brave and go after his Daddy.
I was full of emotions reading Dom and Remi's story. I have really enjoyed this series and all of the characters are so well written. Dom's story is heartbreaking, but he has a found family who loves and supports him. Remi has been through hell and back and came out stronger so that he can support Dom and be the daddy he needs. The ending literally had my crying.
Every single book has many, many name errors, word errors, and plot errors. If the author bothered with a proofread, most of them would have been caught. After see8ng that it doesn't improve from book to book I'm done giving my money away.
The 3rd book in Las Vegas Little is a cute and quick read. If you are looking for a low angst high in found family love this is a must read. I would highly suggest you read the first 2 books to get the whole picture of all of littles.
The boys are amazing and strong in their own ways. Love the Daddy crew overcoming their own challenges as well. Having been through my own family transplant scenario, it is very much that fast and jarringly accurate.
This was a sweet story that had elements of hurt/comfort and found family. I enjoyed seeing the MCs connect and their relationship grow. I wish the story was longer as I wasn't ready for it to end.
I absolutely have fallen in love with this family. I've liked all the stories of this series but this one was the sweetest. Dom and Remi really work as a couple. I'm so glad Dom got his happiness.
So frustrated with the number of editing issues, wrong pronouns, switched names, random added letters, such easy things to catch with an editing read… Guess I was hoping that it would get better in the series but it hasn’t. I’m not anxious to read the next.
I enjoyed Dom and Remi’s story. It’s sweet, mildly angsty, and a nice addition to the series. I liked that Dom was a little but not submissive and the way that they incorporated shibari into their dynamic. I’m looking forward to Lake and Jessie’s book
I really like this series but the typos and grammatical errors were off-putting. Despite that, the book was heartfelt and cute with low angst. Spice level: 1
Story 3.5⭐️ Spice 2.75🌶️ As a 38 year old, I’m highly offended that the cover model is supposed to be 37! Like all of Athena’s books, it’s a good story but in desperate need of an editor.
