In this last installment we join Lily for yet another murder and only days before her wedding. I actually didn’t figure out who the killer was ahead of time and that surprised me, I am a little sad that this book seemed to go by way faster than all the rest and that it’s the last of the series. Overall though, this series has been the coziest witchy mystery series and I have loved it.

After following Lily Michaels and Detective Cutie—sorry, Gage Erikson—through eleven books of sleuthing, flirting, and fated love, I was so ready for this wedding. Like, emotionally invested in their “I do” level of ready. But of course, this is Pembroke Cove, and nothing ever goes off without a broomstick flying sideways.
The wedding countdown is ticking, Lily’s juggling bouquets, spells, and seating charts—and BAM! Dead Elemental witch across the street. Honestly, if any other bride found a murder victim that close to her venue, she’d panic. But Lily? Lily grabs her wand and goes full Nancy Drew meets Glinda the Good Witch.
The stakes are personal, magical, and political this time. The Elementals are back, and they are not here to bless the union. Turns out, Lily’s wedding is more than just a love story—it’s a magical catalyst, and oh boy, the drama explodes from there.
And bless Gage, that man tries to keep her out of the mess this time. He wants wedding bliss, not wedding murder boards. The countdown to Lily & Gage’s wedding is finally here. While Lily and Nikki are having a girl’s day out for dress fittings, some uninvited guests turn up outside Lily’s home from neighboring Pine Valley. Despite all the progress Lily has made in her witch training, there’s still a lot she doesn’t know about other magicals and coven history, no matter how much Milo nags her to read Practical Beginnings. When one of the visitors is murdered, Lily learns a huge secret about the coven and her place in it. The murder appears to be tied to that, and the team has to scramble to keep the non-magicals among them in the dark while solving the case. Can Lily solve the puzzle in time for her long awaited wedding day?

Oh right, let’s talk about fabulous this book is. There’s a great deal of mystery and subterfuge going on. Lucinda Race writes a compelling story filled with some intriguing backstory. Solving the mystery kept me up late reading. I loved every minute!
What I loved most was the balance between the investigation and the last-minute wedding details Lily had to iron out. Lucinda Race blends all the elements together flawlessly. The ending had a fun surprise too. Readers of this series will love this ending.

Lily and Gage’s wedding is fast-approaching and the wedding preparations are in high gear! But discovering a dead Elemental witch in the shop across the street really adds to the pressure. Nikki finds Lily in the kitchen breathing into a brown paper bag with Milo’s paw on her shoulder as he directs her breathing. Apparently her To-Do list has set her off in a panic and Nikki magics up a cup of soothing chamomile tea for her. While Nikki calls in the moms to tackle the list, Nikki and Lily will be having lunch and picking up their dresses.
With the chores done, they returned to Nikki’s place. Milo was waiting at her back door and said they had to get home right away. Four people from Pine Valley had been sitting across the street from Lily’s house since before noon… most likely Elementals. When they arrived at Lily’s, she hurried across the street with her wand and noticed a pool of what looked like blood… and a dead body with a shard of wood sticking out of her neck ! The police and medical examiner were called in. But knowing Lily won’t stay away from investigating this murder, will the wedding still go on? Can they solve the murder and still make it in time to say their vows?

LOVE this series!
I am hoping, hoping, hoping there will be more books in this amazing series. There's SO much more that can be told, and this book alone provides some future potential story-lines.
Lily & Gage's wedding is almost here, and of course, the week prior to it is NOT going to just be all fun and games. Lily finds a dead Elemental witch across the street from her, and the game is on. Nonstop action and a well told, interesting mystery made this so hard to put down.
As with the previous books, this is a wonderful story with mystery, romance, humor, and a host of awesome characters.
The use of different chapters being told from either Lily or Gage's point of view gives insight into the two of them, how they think and feel. Their relationship is so heart-warming. The love and respect they have for each other super clear and always brings a smile to my face.
As always, Milo (Lily's familiar) provides humor (and a number of touching moments).

I’ve waited since book one for Lily and Gage to get married, but now that book’s here and the series is ending, so yeah, it’s actually kinda sad. I’ll really miss all these amazing characters and only hope they might show up in a spin-off sometime. Lily and her friends had a heckuva crazy case on their plates and right before the wedding too. The showdown was super intense but it happened during interrogation so it was controlled-ish.
Now that the perp was put away, it was time to par-tay and have a wedding! It was so cute between Milo and Gage after they did their vows. I can only imagine what that household’s gonna be like once they return from their honeymoon! Wish we could read about it and find out especially since Lily’s been given another important job alongside being a bookseller and wife of Gage. I’d love to see her in action for it.

I listened to books 1-12, except for book 7 because it wasn’t on Hoopla. They are fun, light, cozy mysteries, set in the cozy mystery world. Lily Michaels owns a bookstore, but the books don’t really have much to do with books or being a bookstore owner. Lily finds out she is a witch , In the first book we find out Pembrook Falls has quite a large population of witches and people start getting murdered in the quiet little town and Lily and her boyfriend, a police detective, solve the crimes. As a bookstore owner myself, favorite spell that Lily uses, is one that automatically changes the time on her bookstore sign, if she is late getting back.
I got to like the characters and I thought the books got better as they got more involved with the recurring characters lives. It was still a bit of a guilty pleasure.

I have loved each of the books in this cozy mystery series. I have come to love sweet Milo, the familiar. I cheered on the relationship between Lily and Gage (aka Detective Cutie). I solved clues with the Pembroke crew. I knew this series was ending and this book is a fitting send off.
It’s finally time for the long awaited wedding, but first the crew has another mystery to solve that is directly related to Lily!
I absolutely swooned at the ending of this book. I hope to see some of the crew in the new spin off series!.

Of course things can't run smoothly and seeing them trying to work out the latest mystery before it impacts Lily and Gages nuptials had me trying to work it all out quickly as I felt the pressure for the wedding to go smoothly for them lol

Lily and Gage are involved in another mysterious case where two women are killed, just a week before their wedding. They have to work harder than ever if they want to have a pleasant few days before the wedding.
This time it was quite complicated because everybody lies. However, Lily and Gage are a formidable couple, and nothing escapes their eyes.
I liked seeing them finally wedded, and I loved naughty Milo and his banter.

I enjoyed reading about Lily, Nikki, Milo, and Detective Cutie, just as I have with the previous books in the series. This installment has a slightly different plot, and I love it. There were several moments when I felt that Lily had taken on more than she could handle, leading to some tense situations. It's definitely a page-turner, and I recommend it to all fans of paranormal cozy mysteries.

Finally Lily and Gages wedding is here but will it go off without a hitch? Of course not. This was my favorite in this series. While I fear it will be the last I hope there will be more as there is so much more story to tell. But if indeed it is the last of the series I am very pleased with how it all wrapped up.

This is book 12 of A Bookstore Cozy Mystery Series. A wedding and a murder with magic. So many secrets and people are coming out who are witches and want more now. A wedding that is just a few days away and their neighbor is murdered. Will this stop the wedding or will it go on? This series has everything I am looking for in a book.

I was a little worried when some uninvited witches came to visit Lily. Lily gets a surprise that would have been after her wedding but had to be told because of these surprise visitors. You have to smile when you can't inform non-magical folks why these other folks came to see Lily after one witch is killed. It was a ride but our dear Lily comes out in the end a winner along with Milo...never forget Milo!

She needs to know. There are a number of twists and turns and a sweet ending. This is an entertaining cozy that can be read as a standalone.

Lily finds out about her new duties after her marriage which is entwined with the murders. I liked how Lily and Gage solve the murders just before their wedding.

I've enjoyed this read a lot. Cozy mysteries, even with witch-elements, aren't usually my cup of tea because I'm mainly a romantasy reader but here - almost the whole series, in fact - not the norm. I recommend it.

The mystery in this one had lots of twists and turns. I'm not sure i liked anyone from PV. The wedding was lovely. I love surprise guests. I hope we hear more about his adventures.

Weddings & Wands is the final book of this paranormal mystery series. 😢😢😢 In the days leading up to the wedding (finally!), Lily has one more murder to solve. The perfect ending to a fantastic series. I hope to see some of this group in the new spin off series!.

I thought this was a great quick cozy mystery. There were some twists but overall just a good read for when you need a palette cleanser.

This author's books are well written, well thought out with interesting story lines and loveable characters. She also does not follow the Stupidity Formula that is so common nowadays with characters that cannot communicate, and act and think stupid. There aren't any silly misunderstandings.
