Oh my god I love this book!
It started out kind of slow with the young girl Annalise and we get to know her a bit and her friends, not much really going on, but a cute crush💗. After the first seer vision, things started happening! At first i was confused and wanted more background story, but the longer i read, the more of the puzzle i could piece together. More people were introduced, scenes were hot, sad, gruelsome and just amazingly interesting! It was so hard to put the book down the more I read.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars because there were some things that was not my style and really caused annoyance, and that put the book down a bit for me. But I loved the story! Annalise is such a strong young woman who goes through so much, it was a roller coaster of feelings and so many times my heart broke for her💔

And oh my god, Joel? The scenes between Joel and Annalise? Hot as hell!🔥 And i really enjoyed the interactions between Joel and Diablo, they were so entertaining even though they are bad. The plot is really awsome and well written! There is a red thread through out the book and it is very entertaining and so good details that I could picture what was happening.

And The ending? Holy shit!! I must know what happend next!!😱
I can recommend this book to anyone into paranormal romance with pirates and drakens. But do keep in mind there are some really dark and gruelsome scenes, so pleae resd the trigger warnings before.

Oh there is a secret. So who is read to sail to the seven realms with me?? This book was very good. It started slow but loved the friendship and how they were misfits. Plus the crush she has on one of the kings son is so sweet.

Now as for the secret I want to know what it is cannot wait for the second book to come out. Did Annalise sharing information with the one she thought loved her and the lie she told was it really what brought the Realms down?

Even though the book started slow by mid book I could not put this book down. I fell in love with Joel and maybe even his Draken! The way his and Annalise’s chemistry was written is chef kiss. I am for sure team Joel.

Blake did excellent story telling. You can see the vision she had for this book and the love she poured into it. When reading this book, if you are not paying attention to it, you will miss important details. This is a book that I need a physical copy of for those days when reality hits to hard and I need a fantasy life. Blake, continue being the great author you are.

Sail by C.S. Blake completely hooked me. It starts off at a slower pace, introducing Annalise and her world, but once that first seer vision happens? Everything shifts, and the story takes off. From that point on, I was all in.

Annalise goes through so much, and my heart broke for her more than once. She’s strong, determined, and refuses to back down, no matter what’s thrown her way. And Joel? 🥵 Let’s just say the chemistry between him and Annalise is intense. Their scenes were full of tension, and I couldn’t get enough. Plus, his back-and-forth with Diablo added such an interesting dynamic—I didn’t know whether to love or hate them at times.

The world-building is immersive and full of detail, making it so easy to picture everything as it unfolds. There are some dark, heavy moments, so definitely check the trigger warnings, but they make the story all the more gripping. And the ending?? Absolutely jaw-dropping—I need the next book.

If you love dark paranormal romance with pirates, drakens, and high-stakes adventure, this is definitely worth picking up.

Pirates, witches, sirens, and drakens oh my!

This was an excellent read, the world that Blake has built is one that you are sure to get lured into…and not want to leave despite the precarious situation it is in.

There are many things about this book that I love but I think what I find the most intriguing is how at the start of the book the primary characters are a ragtag group of friends. But by a series of choices and pieces beyond their control, things quickly change…leaving that youthful friendship behind and now each are in opposite sides of the war. I cannot wait to continue the series to learn how the dynamic between these characters evolves and if they might ever become friends again.

Annalise, the FMC has a lot to answer for, whatever that might be. Affections for the wrong person, her naïveté causing ripples that turn into tsunamis…she has shown growth but is it for the better?

Joel, our MMC, I adore this man. How he protects his people and processes things as they unfold is something I can definitely relate to. Doing what he can to do better than his counterparts, one must maintain hope that this will be possible.

Didn’t I day this before, cannot wait for book 2!
