But he wants to prove a point. Plus, he doesn't like being called a liar. So he sneaks out late at night and finds more than he ever bargained for. Can he save himself and his family from a zombie swarm?

Another hi-lo reader with my fifth graders. This one about zombies was not at all scary and provided us with a few chuckles. Funny illustrations and a good lesson thrown in.

From a high interest - low reading level book series... Leo is a notorious liar and it's started to affect his life. Kids don't want to play with him. His family tells him one day his mouth will get him into trouble. Sure enough, an older boy tells him to prove his wild zombie story... or else. Leo insists he will get pictures to prove he's not lying. A crazy, scary, zombie-filled night ensues... but Leo is too busy fighting to save his family's lives to snap any shots!
