BRIAN ALAN ELLIS runs House of Vlad Press, and is the author of several books, including Sad Laughter (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2018). His writing has appeared at Juked, Hobart, Monkeybicycle, Fanzine, Electric Literature, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Funhouse, Heavy Feather Review, and Queen Mob’s Tea House, among other places. This is basically the literary equivalent of a greatest hits record.

Now, I have a love/hate relationship with these and I definitely didn't need a Brian Alan Ellis greatest hits as we've been a part of each other's history for the past decade, but The Errors Tour has been a head trip nonetheless as it featured my review of Road Warrior Hawk. So, it's a straight greatest hits and a metacommentary on Ellis' own career and his disregard of his own suffering. It's as good of a testament to what it feels like to struggle with mental health in the XXIst century as I ever seen.

Acutely hilarious, self-deprecating humor at the expense of the author, BAE’s The Errors Tour is a class act in irony, pop culture, and revising/reviving old writing about a life well-lived. While some quips and poems may miss, there’s an onslaught of others that will grip your shoulders shake you, and then cry on said shoulders after. Very entertaining.
