All seems to be going well until another guest is murdered…and Alice’s boyfriend is found red-handed with the murder weapon.
He swears he’s innocent, and Alice believes him, but Eve is torn. A scrap of a Halloween costume is discovered, and Alice’s boyfriend claims that it belongs to the real killer.
Against her instincts and as a favor to Alice, Eve caves in to Alice’s pleas to use Willow’s tracking skills in an attempt to catch the murderer and exonerate her boyfriend, all the while wondering if the man Alice is seeing is sending them on a wild goose chase.

Excellent cozy mystery! Perfect for dog lovers as two German Shepard trained for search and rescue Star in the story. Great characters! Great mystery! I’ve enjoyed and recommend the entire series!

Enjoyable and Entertaining!!
So Good!! Its just before Halloween and Eve and friends are attending a costume party at their friend Sophia's new riding arena. Excited not only for the festive evening but they are looking forward to meeting the new boyfriend of Aiden's sister Alice. Things start off well, but before the evening is over tragedy strikes.
Well written as always, intriguing with lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I thought I had this one figured out, but as usual I was wrong. :-))
Willow proves just how extraordinary her skills are as she and Eve once again save the day and help solve the case. I highly recommend this series or any of the other books or series by this very talented author. I am so very happy to know there is another book coming soon. Yay!! 🎉🎉👏👏🌟🌟🌟📚

Halloween Parties Can Be Hazardous To Your Health!
"Snuffled Out" is Book 20 of Patti Benning's Search and Rescue Cozy Mysteries series. Have I told you in previous book reviews that I love this entire series? Well, now you know. I love all the characters, human and canine, as well as all of the series regulars and new ones. I love the fact that each book is like a novella in length and that each one could beade into a Hallmark series of hour long episodes. I love the Search and Rescue dogs, Willow and Atlas, and would love to hug them both. This episode is about a murder at a Halloween party at Sophia's new horse arena. And it up to Eve and her 'missing person's' dog, Willow to find the actual killer. I gave this book a 5 star rating. This series is totally bingeworthy reading. Begin with Book 1 first and read in chronological order.

What started as a fun Halloween costume party ended early in murder when someone was found dead in the kitchen. The worst part was the suspect was the guy Alice was dating, so Eve and Aidan found themselves a little more protective of her (and Aidan’s pretty darn protective even in normal times lol).
Willow was the star dog of this book when she was enlisted to see if she could sniff out the killer from a super small clue. That sweet baby girl might be nine but there was definitely nothing wrong with her sniffer! Can’t wait to read the next book—there’s a puppy in it.

Another strong addition to an excellent series
Sophia is hosting a Halloween costume party to celebrate the opening of the new arena at her horse farm. Eve and Aidan are going as Dracula and the bride of Dracula. The party is off to a great start until a guest is found stabbed to death in the kitchen. Lots of twists and turns with Eve and Willow ultimately solving the case. A really fun read. Looking forward to the next book.

It’s just a Halloween party….what could possibly go wrong. Tensions are high between Sophia and her new business partner. Things take a turn for the worse when the realtor Sophia has hired to sell part of her land is murdered at the party. Alice’s new boyfriend is found holding the knife while standing next to the body. Willow is tasked with an unusual search request. What a great story.

Really Good
I highly recommend this book and series. Well written with great storylines and characters. I like the search & rescue part of it. I look forward to reading the next one.

This series just keeps getting better. This books storyline revolves around Halloween. Willow is called into action to find the killer. The book is well written and the characters engaging. Can’t wait for the next book!

Halloween costume party turns deadly. The only clues are a costume by the body that Alice’s boyfriend was wearing. He swears he did not do it. It will be up to Eve to find the real killer.. It will be one Halloween to remember.
